    I am quite pleased that Trump took a wrecking ball to the GOP, demolishing the old GOP. Good. Needed a good house cleaning, changing it for perhaps a decade or two to come.
    A fatal flaw in TDS reasoning is that Trump, the GOP, Conservarives, Righties, and all of his supporters are synomious (sic). How simplistic. Cut off the head of snake and everything goes back to the old ‘normal’, right? Rightttttt.
    Reminds me of when the Tea Party first hit the news and Andrea Mitchell and Punchy were demanding to know who are ‘your leaders’? Very forcefull demands as they could not wrap their heads around what was happening. I know, i had tv back them and watched the Lamesream coverage.

Are your partisan loyalties, in the face of multiple court rulings and failed fact checks, so cast in stone as to be oblivious to the concept that the constitutionally prescribed functions of government have declared Biden the winner. Why is it that people still believe the proven be outrageously untrue claims of Donald Trump, a serial liar?

    Excellent suggestion, Dr. Rebane. Lets start with the DC wingnut mayor calling in the Nat’l Guard to deal with expected “protests” at the Biden Inaug festivities. Big protests might give some bad visuals to the day of unity. Keep them back and off the streets.
    Hmm. I remember the DC mayor rejecting the National Guard’s help when the mob of peaceful protestors were running around disecreating and torching historic churchs and roaming the streets around Freedom Square looking for Trumpsters. If none found, then start pelting the police and torching businesses and harass resturant patrons. Need to loot that high end store for a loaf of bread (and a big flat screen) to feed one’s family, roflmao.
    -Biden announces cancellation of Inaugural Parade. Joe will be no show.
    -Thousands of American First types have received cancellations for their pre-booked rooms in our Nation’s Capitol on Joe’s special day. Seems the DC “authorities” (their Mad Max Mayor) has asked certain hotels not be open on the Big Day.
    Seems when BLM had their recent big DC demostration, thousands of MAGA types went out into the streets from their hotel rooms and put the hurts on the visuals on BLM’s moment to shine. Those happy warriors even got near Freedom Square! Stop them. They defiled Freedom Square and the strrets with their presence. Majes the glum lot progressives want to wipe that smirk right off the jovial Deplorables’ faces. 🙂
    Anyway, certain hotels are now remaining closed for the big money day and cancellations have been sent. Has nothing to do with spreading the China Virus. It has everything to do with what Biden experienced at his campaign rallies: more Trmpsters waving flags and honking horns than attendees at the Bideb campaign stop.
    Must not have ‘protestors” on the streets or near Freedom Square. Makes for some bad visuals.
    Odd, the swearing in day brings in 200 million to DC. Trump”s Hotel will be open for business because he is a big tent kind of guy. Everybody is welcomed at the Trump Hotels and transexuals can use any bathroom they please in Trump’s hotels. A safe place.

    Paul. We have said this repeatedly to you. The state legislatures have absolute authority to appoint or not appoint electors in presidential elections. Ted Cruz is the most correct here. The Congress should throw it back to the states in question and get the proper answer from the only entity that has the sole and exclusive constitutional authority to decide these issues. Not the Supreme Court. Not the Vice President. Nobody except the state legislatures. Read the constitution. If the states act or fail to act, so be it.
    As far as what Trump is saying, I don’t know. I don’t have time to read title three of the US code or all the cases that have interpreted the constitution in connection with electors.
    What I do know is that tomorrow will be a constitutionally educational day.
