Toes, the closest peak to the Rose Bowl is Mt. Wilson, home of the first 100″ telescope; he may have been anything ’cause I’ve never heard of him. Mt. Baldy, twice as tall, is actually named Mt. San Antonio- called ‘baldy’ because the summit is above timberline.
Not sure if St. Anthony was a racist…
Climbed it many times, including when snow capped; great little hike.

Mt. Wilson. Yes, been there once. I once ran up the face of Mt. Lukings to the top of on firetrails many moons ago on a bet I could not do it without stopping. Its above Tujunga-La Crescenta-La Canada…good view of the ocean, all the San G Valley, San F Valkey, Downtown LA, San Pedro and all the out into the ocean to Catalina or some island sticking out on the horizon. I could do anything ‘once’, back then. Won the bet (dare), but unfortunatly, i took the bet after a afternoon workout and did notmakr it back down until well after sun set, roflmao. Scarey noises in the darkness. Young, stubborn, and dumb. All cause someone said “can’t”

L: opps, Mt. Lukens. Formerly Mount Sister Somebody who ran an orphanage probaly in the 1830’s during the LA gold rush in them dar hills. Lukens was a former US Ag Secretary according to the little plaque on top. Bet he was a racist as well. Wonder if that plaque/marker is still there.

cli·ché-ish that 2020 was the worse of times and the best of times. I am so friggin grateful for it that panned out on the personal side for Biker Bill. What a blessing 2020 was, considering the lows that came early and the highs that came later that swept away the gloom. We are a blessed people. I got back that ‘attitude of gratitude’. Lost that, and you lose it all. We will see how long it lasts. 🙂

Those Botox Queens have so many preservatives shot into them that we could put them on corners and hang sign stop signs on them.
