Well, the fat lady is in the wings, we can hear her warming up. She will most likely be applauded onto the stage when Sidney Powell’s last hurrah is thrown out of court. I still can’t believe why this successful and prominent lawyer got herself into such an embarrassing and career-ending pickle. It occurred to me that there may be one way that she can salvage her reputation and ability to continue making money as a lawyer, and that all hinges on Adam Schiff. After lying for years about having incontrovertible evidence of Trump’s Russia collusion, all of which turned out to be a blatant nothingburger, that sumbich continues his career unabated, and is still genuflected to by Democrats as one of their most illustrious intellectual lights. Sidney should schedule some time with Adam to see how that was done.

Meanwhile, Team Trump forges ahead under the leadership of Coach Giuliani who is obviously stressed out a bit when called to perform under the klieg lights. I have no idea what they expect to get out of SCOTUS, assuming they stick to their strategy of wending their way through the intermediate appellate process. My question remains – how will this pursuit of 2020 voter fraud beneficially inform our upcoming 2022 and 2024 national elections?

Finally, who among our local leftwingers will receive invitations to attend one of Biden’s balls?

[26nov20 update] Attorney Sidney Powell’s ‘Krakens’ were released into (onto?) the courts of Georgia and Michigan. Her website was immediately blocked by Twitter as false and unsuitable content to the delicate sensibilities of its readers. We on RR have no such weaklings frequenting these pages, our readers are made of sterner stuff so that I can readily link to Powell’s websites (here and here) from which (and here) you can download both the Georgia Kraken (104 pages) and the Michigan Kraken (75 pages).

Well Paul you are conflating two different forums. The first is the judiciary forum and the other is the public. They’re different and distinct. Courts must follow the law in making opinions. We in the public are not bound by such strictures though should be. Courts have not heard the evidence yet so judgment must be reserved. As far as public option and my opinion, I believe that the evidence presented today in Pennsylvania is substantial. I will abide by the law as determined by a court so I reserve judgment. You would be wise to do the same. Over one-fifth of the entire population believes that there was some fraud. That is not healthy for our democracy. We would all be wise to let the courts figure it out.

The way I see things…..
In elections, there is 1) the legislative process, 2) the judicial process, AND 3) the political process.
Dr. Rebane has previously patiently explained to Punchy on these pages the difference between evidence and investigations . Barry patiently explained to the News Redirector evidence vs proof. Evidence may or may not lead to a criminal/civil investigation, or at the legislative level, may or may not lead to a investigation…depending on #3, the political process.
For discussions on voter fraud, the political process (included it’s right arm known as the media) is not complete with weighing in on the sheer weight on the political process.
For example, the FBI has Hunter’s laptop with a hundred thousand things on it. So, the judicial process (FBI in this example) has the evidence to look at and they remain mum. That’s as far as the judical process currently takes the reader; In FBI custody.
The political process says the very topic of Hunter Biden Is just another hatched up vicious campaign smear by the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, end of story. It’s all fake, it’s all misinformation. Lies!

I think that there is a high likelihood that courts throw out the elections in swing states and the congress ends up electing the president. The elections were not fair and violate the constitution. I don’t think courts with order states to appoint certain electors. Such a decision, in my opinion, would be judicial activism. Biden will possibly not make it to 270 and Congress will take care of their constitutional duty

Now would be a good time for the ‘closest’ polling organizations in the last two prexy elections to round up the largest possible pool of registered voters and ask them a single question: “Who did you vote for, Trump or Biden?
Absolutely no one would have any reason to lie or misrepresent his past conduct without hurting his own sides’ chances.
As long as the pool of voters was honestly chosen, the result would be entirely reliable.
The only fair alternative would be to hold the election over again with proper witnesses in place…

Paul. One must understand what is actually happening and read the documents provided. There are no senators, no representatives, and no governors suing the state, the governors of those states, or the secretaries of State. The lawsuits have been brought by the electors who are elected pursuant to the constitution to cast their vote for the president. The electors have standing. The electors were deprived of their rights through alleged fraud. As such there is no need to separate out votes for senators, representatives, or governors from the presidential electors. The down ballot races will stay, because knowing is alleging that there was fraud associated with those elections. Thankfully our forefathers thought of these contingencies when they drafted the constitution. I think it’s in federalist 68. I’m not sure off the top of my head.

Have you looked at the statements of the Georgia Dem candidates? I assume you are in lock step with everything Raphael Warnock said. But, then again, never assume.
Come January 5, Trump won’t be on the Georgia ballot. The Jan 5 Senate races will be like a a full blown national election in and off itself. All the media and all the focus will be on Georgia with money pouring in like the pallets of cold hard cash Obama sent to Iran in unmarked planes. It will be big.
Alabama was in the same situation in 2017 with the national focus on the Doug Jones-Roy Moore Senate run-off race. Hillary had lost to Trump by Trump by 28% in the national election, but Roy Moore was a very highly unpopular candidate in Alabama, even being kicked off the AL Supreme Court, twice(?). Anyway, despite all of Moore’s negatives and being called a child molester/ pedophile by the Leftwing press and Punchy, Jones narrowly squeaked out a win. Unbelievable it was even that close for Jones, a pro-life 2nd Amendment advocate.
Georgia was no Judge Roy Moores running on the R side this time. They do have a Rev. Jeremiah Wright running on Dem side, a combination of Black Theology, Keith Ellison, and Louis Farrakhan in the form of Raphael Warnock.
If I had to make a prediction with my cloudy crystal ball, I will say that the Georgia race will be split, one Senate win for each side. Who knows. It might be the first billion dollar Senate race, not counting all the free positive exposure of the Dem candidates from the unfair and unbalanced Enemy of the People, aka, your media.
All is not lost. Doug Jones got defeated In 2020 and lost his AL Senate seat, but is under consideration for a spot In the Biden Administration. Just like when Charlie Brown (seated with Nancy Pelosi herself in Auburn, Placer Co) lost his bid, he was promptly placed in a government job in the Obama Administration. A real collection of losers.
Time will tell. Georgia on my mind.
