That’s what I was concerned about on election night, and I remain concerned today. I think it’s wrong. I think what you have heard a lot of Republicans start to say this. I said it on election night. I hope more say it going forward because the country is what has to matter the most. As much as I’m a strong Republican and I love my party, it’s the country that has to come first.”

Chris Christie is just one a hundred conservative writers and known names that have grown impatient as it has appeared looking from the outside in that Trump has zero chance of winning the electoral college. Trump should just concede and go out on a high Presidential note for once. Trump is embarrassing himself!
Just browse the National Review and you will see what they are thinking. They, too, are growing impatient, especially with our original “two week” sacrifice lock down in March has been extended indefinitely 8 months later. Oh, instant gratification, where are you?
Of course, Trump has a different strategy in mind than winning 270. It’s to keep Biden from winning 270.
I can think of no other place that I dislike more that hours spent in the waiting room. Yet, some of us patiently wait for final act of the play. At least the cooler heads do and I hope cooler heads prevail.

Toes, I always wait for the end of the credits after the movie… the best reward for this behavior was in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, where Ferris himself (remaining in character) admonished the audience after the credits with “What are you doing here? The movie is over. Go!” or something like that.

“Republicans have given Mr. Trump ample leeway to prove his case for ballot fraud, and we’ve approached his claims with an open mind,” they wrote. “But if there’s no evidence beyond general innuendo, the President’s charges of a stolen election will undermine public faith in the electoral system. That won’t serve the country, his party, or his supporters, who will sour on politics and in the process cede elections to the left. None of this will serve Mr. Trump, his legacy, or whatever hope he has to run again in 2024.”

President Donald Trump’s campaign appeared to distance itself from Sidney Powell, a controversial attorney who’s been serving prominently on the legal team while Trump tries to steal the 2020 election through baseless allegations of voter fraud.
The unexpected pivot came on Sunday in a short statement from the campaign disavowing its association with Powell, who also represents former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn. The campaign’s statement did not directly say whether Powell was fired, nor did it provide context for the sidelining.
“Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own,” Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani and campaign legal advisor Jenna Ellis said in the statement. “She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team. She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity.”
