    Would a TDSer lie?
Punchy, Punchy, Punchy, where have you been? I will attribute this to ‘not knowing’, the same words to describe ignorance and agnostic.
A recent example of Kristol and George Conway’s handicraft is the Atlantic’s “four anonymous sources” say Trump Calls Americans Who Died in War “LOSERS and SUCKERS!”
4 anonymous sources vs 10 on the record named individuals in the know who where there (including The Walrus John Bolton) that publicly said it never happened. That was Bill Kristol behind that potentially devastating, yet totally false, news flash. His September surprise. The Lincoln Project. Liberals love the Lincoln Project, but soon gone with the wind like Jeff Flake.
Sometimes I miss the Weekly Standard for old times sake. They had some good writers.
Would Kristol lie? Would someone consumed with TDS lie for the moral superiority title? The greater good? To be praised and listened to again?
    “Shirley you jest..”

If you do your homework, Kamala Harris was the participating mastermind of the Kavanaugh ambush. As a lasting legacy to those dark hours in our nation’s history in the Hallowed Halls of the United States Senate, it’s all Kavanaugh now. William Kristol is proof of that.

“That conversation began after the Abraham Accords,” he told Israel’s Channel 12, adding that the UAE had been attempting to purchase the stealth jets for six years and the Abraham Accords finally created an “opening” for it to happen.
According to Otaiba, both Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Benny Gantz agreed to the sale after US officials ensured it wouldn’t negatively impact Israel’s military edge in the region.
The package includes 50 F-35s worth $10.4 billion, 18 advanced armed Reaper drone systems worth $2.97 billion and a package of air-to-air and air-to-ground munitions to the tune of $10 billion.

    Quotes
Insight: “If you are afraid to speak against tyranny, then you are already a slave.” —John “Birdman” Bryant (1943-2009)
For the record: “Americans can only come together when we share a common philosophy, history and culture. Democrats have spent years attempting to tear away those commonalities in favor of coalitional interest-group politics. They’ve declared American philosophy racist from inception; they’ve declared American history a litany of brutalities; they’ve declared American culture bigotry embodied. Now they want unity — the unity of absolute victory.” —Ben Shapiro
Belly laugh of the week: Reporter: “Was there any fraud in your Senate race?” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell: “I don’t know. At the risk of bragging, it wasn’t very close.”
A trip down memory lane: First debate moderator Chris Wallace: “Will you pledge not to declare victory until the election is independently certified?” Joe Biden: “Yes.”
Pay the piper: “Black Lives Matter invested heavily in this election. ‘Vote and Organize’ became our motto, and our electoral justice efforts reached more than 60 million voters. We want something for our vote.” —BLM co-founder and executive director Patrisse Cullors
Grand delusions: “I’m beginning to see what happened in Germany back in the 1930s, I never thought that would happen in this country. How do you elect a person president and all of a sudden give him the authority to be a dictator? That’s what we’re dealing with around here. That’s what Hitler did in Germany. He was elected Chancellor and then … successfully discredited the news media, took over the churches.” —House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (Remind us again which party is singling out churches and forcing their closure during the COVID lockdowns?)
Dezinformatsiya, Part I: “For perhaps the first time in American history, a coordinated effort to taint or even overturn a presidential election may be underway.” —Bloomberg (“Yea the past 4 years totally weren’t exactly that?!? You people are … clowns.” —Donald Trump Jr.)
Dezinformatsiya, Part II: “Yes, it is possible for a story to be factually accurate and for it to be part of a misinformation campaign aimed at undermining confidence in an election.” —NYT columnist Kevin Roose after being fact-checked on his claims that factual reports about election fraud were “right-wing misinformation.”
Lack of self-awareness: “Republicans are such fraudsters and super good at projecting. This is really harmful to our democracy and it has to end.” —Rep. Ilhan Omar
Braying jackass: “We the people of the United States do not have a single national soul, but rather two souls, warring with each other. The battle for the soul of America is actually the battle between the souls of America.” —Ibram X. Kendi (“It would be hard to engineer a more divisive way to portray the country than this.” —Colin Wright)
Non compos mentis: “The term ‘legal vote’ is as fictionally fraught and functionally racist as the terms ‘illegal alien’ and ‘race neutral’ and ‘welfare queen’ and ‘handouts’ and ‘super predator’ and ‘crackbaby’ and ‘personal responsibility’ and ‘post racial.’” —Ibram X. Kendi
And last… “Coronavirus panic gave you mass mail-in voting. Mass mail-in voting gave you President Joe Biden. Remember that the next time The System (Left and Right) is telling you to fear something. Fear always leads to more government. Always.” —Jesse Kelly

D 414pm – It’s an amalgam of a distasteful political statement with that of national security. They don’t belong together in the same legislation, and should be presented as two separate initiatives with two very distinct objectives in mind. The bundling of such issues is a travesty of legislation that the drafting party admits cannot separated into their individual parts which do not have the support to pass on their own merits. So the alternative is to assemble a political bamboozle and see if the whole pile of crap can be ushered through on the coattails of something commendable and needed. It takes political courage to reject such piles of crap. I hope this helps.

But what does Duh care for starving children when virtue signalling is far more important?
“It was just you whining about money.”
Starving children do get whiny, Duh.
Maybe Duh can articulate why we need to change the names of military bases.
And maybe he can explain why, if it’s so important to do so, he doesn’t pony up the money himself?
Or is he going to whine about money?

So trivial that not a single lefty billionaire will pay for it.
When the left doesn’t have to pay, ‘it’s trivial’.
If it’s only a million, then a million whiny leftists could cough up a buck and it’s a done deal.
But that’s not the point, is it?
This is just another BS issue that does nothing to better the lives of anyone besides the guy with the contract to change the names of the military bases.

WASTEFUL SPENDING: AN ISSUE FROM THE PAST?
“Josef Stalin famously said that one death is a tragedy, while a million deaths are a statistic. The same holds true for spending: most people’s eyes glaze over at the thought of a billion dollars, but we get outraged over the idea of a $400 hammer.
The $400 hammer won one of Senator William Proxmire’s Golden Fleece awards, decades ago. Proxmire did a more effective job than just about anyone at highlighting wasteful federal spending, and his Golden Fleece awards got enormous publicity. Proxmire was a Democrat, but there was a time when politicians of both parties–some of them, anyway–didn’t like to waste money.
Is that still true? Senator Everett Dirksen famously said, “A billion here, a billion there, and pretty soon you’re talking real money.” Nowadays we often talk in trillions, but voters still don’t want to see their money wasted, and they still understand relatively small instances of stupidity better than mind-numbing billion-dollar bureaucratese.”

Gregory, there is spending for the purpose of healing the centuries of racism and it’s negative effects, and Greg’s ilk in the Cabinet spending millions on themselves.
“While many of these expenses may not violate federal rules and the use of military or chartered planes may be necessary in some circumstances, the sheer number of questionable expenditures shows a lack of respect for public funds. Cabinet members spent a grand total of nearly $2 million on wasteful or legally questionable expenses. And these are just the ones that are known; given the incredible secrecy of this administration’s Cabinet, it has been difficult to determine exactly how it spends public dollars.”

Just two out of five voters would prefer national mandates.
Another good sign. Issues of public health resides within the powers of the States, not DC Madness. Uncle Sam can step in with a fat wallet to help out and does, but it shows the absolute genius of our Founding Fathers in creating upon this continent the Republic for which we stand. They gave such powers to the States.
Biden can declare a national mask mandate through an EO and that man-child Ricky Maddow over at MSNBC can wet his pants in gushing delight along with Fredo at CNN and Jake Tapper and the ladies on The View until they are all gushed out. Don’t mean a thang.

‘California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom Caught Attending Multi-Family Gathering That He Has Advised Against: Report’
“California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom attended a multi-family birthday party for one of his political advisers last week that reportedly included over a dozen people, which goes against the types of gatherings that his administration has warned people about having.”
“The dinner the night of Nov. 6 at the famed French Laundry in Yountville in Napa County brought together at least 12 people to celebrate the 50th birthday of Jason Kinney, a longtime friend and political adviser to Newsom who is also a partner at the lobbying firm Axiom Advisors,” The San Francisco Chronicle reported. “State guidelines limit gatherings, defined as ‘social situations that bring together people from different households at the same time in a single space or place,’ to no more than three households. Representatives for Kinney and Newsom declined to specify how many households the diners represented, but did not dispute that it was more than three.
The California Department of Public Health says that “gatherings that include more than 3 households are prohibited.”
A spokesperson for Newsom defended the governor’s decision to attend the event, saying that the event happened outdoors.
Newsom issued a statement, saying, “While our family followed the restaurant’s health protocols and took safety precautions, we should have modeled better behavior and not joined the dinner.”
The San Francisco Chronicle noted that Newsom has started to emphasize stricter coronavirus guidelines heading into the Fall and Winter months as cases continue to climb around the country.
“It’s for obvious reasons. People are letting their guard down,” Newsom said. “They’re taking their masks off. They’re starting to get together outside of their household cohorts.””

So now we hear from one of our leftwing worthies that they have discovered a whole $2M of Democrat unapproved expenditures that Trump’s cabinet members have spent over the last four years in their travels. And, of course, none of that occurred under Obama when multiple planes took the family and daughters to various tropical vacation destinations. BTW, is the allegation that Trump’s cabinet has been operating in “incredible secrecy” a new addition to their daily narrative. Wherever do they get this crap?
But hey, with a sharp pencil discovering $2M here and another one there, pretty soon we’re going to come up with some real savings when Biden’s boys and girls (reflcting America) take off on their travels. Pretty soon the national debt will be whittled down to nothing. Bidenomics in peace and war.

“We’ve got to get rid of the $19 trillion in debt,” Trump told The Washington Post in April 2016, several months before the election he would win. “I think I could do it fairly quickly…I would say over a period of eight years,”

“On Trump’s first day in office (Jan. 20, 2017), the total U.S. debt stood at $19.95 trillion, up from the 11.9 trillion when Barack Obama was sworn in eight years earlier. As of Oct. 14, the debt under Trump had mushroomed to $27.1 trillion.”

    Friday’s quotes a day late.
Insight: “No danger flowing from speech can be deemed clear and present unless the incidence of the evil apprehended is so imminent that it may befall before there is an opportunity for full discussion. Only an emergency can justify repression.” —Justice Louis D. Brandeis (1856-1941)
Touché: “The best way to raise money is just let Nancy Pelosi and AOC talk.” —House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy
Nothing to see here… “@realDonaldTrump has made it abundantly clear he’s more interested in pandering to his neo-nazi base than being @POTUS for all Americans.” —Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs in 2017
For the record: “[The U.S.] electoral system is the most archaic of all that exist in countries of at least some importance around the world.” —Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, hoping for a Biden win
The BIG Lie: “What Joe Biden got in this election was a mandate — a mandate to address the challenges that our country faces as well as to have a positive initiative on how to grow the economy in a fair way.” —House Speaker Nancy Pelosi
Tone-deaf: “Stop the circus and get to work on what really matters to the American people.” —Nancy Pelosi lecturing Republicans after leading the collusion circus for three years only to switch to the impeachment circus and then the postal-mail suppression circus when it suited her purposes
Alpha jackass: “We’re all human beings with people we love that we want to see. But increasingly the entire Republican Party has basically taken the side of the virus and are actively trying to spread it.” —MSNBC’s Chris Hayes
Race bait: “[Trump] promised an elixir for the racial anxiety [of] millions of Americans spooked by a black man in the White House.” —Barack Obama
Non sequitur: “We need to require every K-12 school in America to include digital civics — how to determine and crosscheck if something you read on the internet is true — in their curriculum. You should not be able to graduate without it.” —NYT columnist Thomas L. Friedman (No doubt Friedman’s characterization of “truth” is as pure as his rag’s stories are factual.)
Non compos mentis: “I hope everybody moves to Georgia, you know, in the next month or two, registers to vote, and votes for these two Democratic senators.” —NYT’s Thomas Friedman encouraging voter fraud
Who needs the Constitution, anyway? “Please do not make the same mistake an otherwise well-meaning President Obama made in his first two years. … Charge in on January 20th like FDR on steroids. … Eliminate the Electoral College through the National Popular Vote Act! … Ratify the Equal Rights Amendment for women! … Send in the Army Corps of Engineers to Flint to replace the poisoned water pipes! … And none of the above needs a single vote of the United States Senate!” —Michael Moore to Joe Biden
And last… “Defund the police? Defund, my butt. I’m a proud West Virginia Democrat. We are the party of working men and women. We want to protect Americans’ jobs & healthcare. We do not have some crazy socialist agenda, and we do not believe in defunding the police.” —Senator Joe Manchin
