PaulE 533pm – What you seem to forget is that those with their horrible blue values first moved to places like SF and the bay area because they were attracted by the “environment and the culture” of the region. The result of Their ‘appreciation’ of what was there to welcome was to turn the place into a shithole which then was no longer so attractive. Having soiled that nest, they started casting about for new unspoiled places which were still attractive and they could appreciate. And sure enough, they found Nevada County (among other places) into which they could escape and start the process all over again.
There is no indication in the past century plus of collectivism cum socialism that such progressive minded people ever learned how/why they turn prosperous and peaceful communities into pernicious autocratic hellholes. (Garrett Hardin in his ‘Tragedy of the Commons’ explained the whole process to us more than a half a century ago.) To confirm that metastasis, you need look no further than the length of your nose to see what’s happening right here in western Nevada County as it turns true blue.
Don’t be taken by the arts and crafts that the liberal immigrants brought with them – it’s their entry siren song. That little burst of happy dancing will turn out to be short-lived here which it has in other places, as their new public policies invite vagrants, indigents, criminals, and drugs, all attracted by what may best be summarized as free money (from us to them) and loose laws. All of this is forever beyond the ken of collectivists.

Even way out here in the sticks, a Proggy city transplant hears someone exercising their 2ND Amend. rights (they hear one gun shot way out in the distance) and they relieve themselves on the spot. Scared shitless.( none left at that very moment)
They call 911 in a panic. Then they go whine to the BOS relentlessly and demand city rules and values out in the sticks.
Speaking of guns and ammo,,, It’s sure tough to get reloading supplies… EVERYWHERE. Not just in Kalif.

I’m sorry… it’s 45% of those registered didn’t even vote. 74,467 people were registered…only 40,652 ballots were returned…leaving Nun of the Above the clear winner at about 35k in Nevada County.
So Nun Of the Above whomped Biden’s 20k in county.
An enterprising journalist might contact Diaz to find out what the party distribution of the non-responsive voters was. But then again, they might not.

“Sources said a Lord of the Flies atmosphere has enveloped the West Wing, with Trump advisers accusing each other of looking out for themselves,” Sherman writes. “Two sources speculated that a report saying Jared Kushner had advised Trump to concede was a way for Kushner to position himself to his New York friends as a rational voice.”
According to Sherman, Trump has a financial incentive to continue his challenge to the election results, namely by raising millions from donors to use some of the money to pay off campaign debts. But, there’s also a political incentive. “Trump is trying to keep the MAGA movement going. That gives him a lot of leverage,” one adviser told Sherman. “But what Trump is going to find out is that the minute he leaves the White House, he’ll be like a used car coming off the lot. The Washington Post and Ellen Nakashima may wish to rewrite history by lying about Nunes, mischaracterizing his actual history of investigation, and failing to correct demonstrably false reports. But it’s just another example of how they have destroyed their credibility and their ability to control the narrative in support of their political goals.

Went down to the Bass Pro shop today,,things have CHANGED.. All the ammo is behind glass, and the reloading isle is a barren wasteland. Only the cheap crap powder is still sitting there.
Hardly a box of projectiles to be found. But there were some for .338! Not your typical home defence load..(unless your 3/4 of a mile away)
Anyone who shoots is now reloading, thanks to the Commies in SAC.

Evening Walt. Yes, I heard a ruckus last night or in the wee hours, but I did not bother to check it out. I hurt my back bad trying to move a Boulder I had no business even attempting. I should have called the Dirt Mover, but I heard he is sidelined as well. 🙂
What I find amazing is how (with age) I can now hurt myself easily. And it takes way more time to recover from those Honey-Dos. She has waited 8 years, and it looks like she will have to wait another week or two. No more hurting myself in the afternoon and honky-tonking till 2:00 am on the dance floor. It’s true. Youth is wasted on the young. Heck, I am an open book. I was so young and dumb once that I voted for Jimmy the Carter. At least I ain’t taking any pain killers for the back….then my typos would really skyrocket.
For decades now, old folks told me never to grow old, it’s a pain in the posterior. Hind tit if you prefer. But, not one of those old sages never told me how not to grow old. Guess that is what happens when you don’t drink and don’t die.
Hope your recovery is going according to schedule. Whose schedule is a different story. Both of us will remain vertical, albeit not as consistently as in the days of wasted youth.

In other news today, so far six people from Dallas, Texas and one from Shreveport, Louisiana were arrested by Grass Valley PD for murder and criminal conspiracy this morning. At 7:30 this morning it was only two people now at seven. I don’t know where Fermi Place is but that’s where they were all arrested according to the County’s jail media report.

Pray, please guide us to the opportunities missed in responding to the pandemic that your betters have no doubt documented (since you all have been screaming about Trump’s “blowing it” for some months now). And while you’re at it, can you explain why Biden’s pandemic plans are a subset of Trump’s save for his attempt to have a federal mask mandate.
