[The Democrats' damage and destruction to America's black population reaches back to ante-bellum years. In recent decades they have turned their tender mercies for our African-American neighbors onto cynical avenues that have laid waste to black families and the communities in which they live. Under decades of Democrat rule we can echo the question asked by an enlightened black candidate for Congress – name any city in which life for blacks has improved over the last, say, forty years. About all this our leftwingers respond with crickets. Here is a campaign video that spells it out. (H/T to reader) gjr]

There’s plenty of Trump ‘lie’ lists out there. Practically all trivial, or out of context, or a shade of truth. The main point is to get a big list, not a good one. He’s in the public eye a lot and every word is eagerly analyzed, so whether he’s worse than your average politician is tough to tell.
The word ‘lie’ has been expanded in any case, rather in the way that ‘fascist’ now applies to anyone somewhat to the left of Bill Clinton and going rightwards. ‘Nationalist’ now means fascist as borders are another form of original sin. Work goes on to redefine ‘racist’ (and has been changed in at least one dictionary) to include a much broader swathe of behavior. In the medium run, ‘anti-racist’ will declare a narrow definition and ‘racist’ is everyone else. At some point, algebra will consist of ‘lies’ as math class is a white construct.
Roberto, no doubt, thinks of he/she him/her as immune from all of this, being on the right side of history and all. Good luck with that. Even the folks who run the struggle sessions eventually end up on the central chair.
Newspeak is a real thing and continues to expand it’s hold. The ‘friendly’ face of the Left are simply enablers to a thing a lot more evil and grasping.
In other news, a little background on a typical Harris/Biden voter.

‘A Most Consequential Presidency’
“Trump has also changed the character and composition of the GOP, making it more of a working- and middle-class party. Where George H.W. Bush sought to build a “New World Order” with America as global hegemon and George W. Bush preached a global crusade for democracy “to end tyranny in our world,” Trump is all-in on “America first.” Bush transnationalism belongs to yesterday.“….
Under Trump, the GOP ceased to be a party of small government whose yardstick of success was how close it came to a balanced budget.
“Trump signed on this spring to $3 trillion in deficit spending to rescue the economy from a depression into which the government had shoved it to control the spread of the coronavirus. He is prepared to spend a trillion dollars more.
By opening new lands and seas to exploration, building pipelines, permitting fracking and slashing regulations, Trump has brought the U.S. to an energy independence which other presidents only promised.
The Trump GOP has abandoned an ideological commitment to free trade that dates back to the Kennedy administration and reembraced the economic nationalism of the 19th-century Republicans who built the world’s greatest industrial and manufacturing power.
Globalism has been relegated to the ash heap of history as our populist president trashed the Trans-Pacific Partnership, the Iran nuclear deal and the Paris climate accords, and began to impose tariffs on countries that have looted America’s manufacturing base.
While Trump has been prevented by the Russophobia of our Beltway elites from seeking a detente with Vladimir Putin, he has managed to avoid a military collision.
Trump has also ended the decades-long freeriding of NATO allies on the U.S. defense budget, convincing many of them to contribute more.
*[Thats the issue that got Punchy upset that mean ole Trump was extorting money from our NATO allies for defense money they cannot afford. Poor poor counties like the Krauts. Steve wasn’t happy either, Trump talking that way to our allies like a dictator, not as an equal among equals.]
He has made the Republican Party the pro-Israel Party, recognizing Israel’s annexation of the occupied Golan Heights and East Jerusalem by moving the U.S. embassy there. He effected the recognition of Israel by the UAE in return for Bibi Netanyahu’s postponement of the annexation of the 30% of the West Bank envisioned in Trump’s own “Deal of the Century.”
While Trump has not extracted this country from the forever wars of the Middle East — Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria — he routed ISIS and kept us out of Libya’s civil war.
Unlike his predecessors, Trump has tabled the issue of immigration, especially mass illegal migration across the Southern border, and made progress on the border wall he made a feature of his 2016 campaign.
A discredited NAFTA has been replaced by a new trade deal, and a leftist government in Mexico City is helping prevent migrants from entering southern Mexico on their way to the United States.
Trump has done as much as Reagan to deregulate the U.S. economy and reduce taxes on workers, producers, and investors. Before COVID-19 hit in force in March, stock markets were hitting all-time highs and unemployment rates all-time lows.
He has nominated and elevated two Supreme Court justices and hundreds of federal judges.
The horizon, however, does not appear to be without perils.
Bellicosity toward Beijing is being reciprocated, and China appears ready for confrontation to validate its claims in the South and East China seas and Taiwan Strait.
What Beijing is doing to America — espionage, intellectual property theft, forced technology transfers, running up $600 billion trade surpluses at our expense — is Trump’s concern, not what Beijing is doing to restrict democracy in Hong Kong.
While his outreach to North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un failed to persuade Kim to surrender his nuclear arsenal in return for recognition, trade and aid, even some of Trump’s enemies applauded his effort.”

Did like the ending: “ Trump, too, sees himself not as a moral crusader for human rights but as a defender of American interests in the world.”.

More Pat if you are into it: Sooner or later Biden has to make a stand. Come out, come out wherever you are!
‘Is Biden Ceding the Law-and-Order Issue?’
“Eventually, the country is going to go with law and order, for, no matter how the liberals’ recoil from the phrase and its associations with Barry Goldwater and Richard Nixon, without law and order there is no justice and there is no peace. What Nixon said in ’68 remains true: “The first civil right of every American is to be free from domestic violence.”
Is Joe Biden forfeiting the law-and-order issue to Donald Trump?
So it would seem.”…..
“The Republicans have chosen. They stand with the cops.
And if and when Biden comes out of the basement again, he is going to have to take a stand. Declaring evenhanded neutrality won’t cut it.“

But then I have to think of this (from The Last Plantagenets, Costain)…
“It seems possible that he had realized the sorry truth that leaders of popular causes have to face sooner or later; that an issue, based on idealistic reasoning, cannot hold men together for any great length of time. Few are capable of holding to a faith without any concern for personal satisfaction or gain. A certain proportion of every mass recruited to demand a change or to further a cause will seize the opportunity offered for looting and thievery. Still more will let their emotions involve them in uncontrollable excesses, in the destruction of property and the massacre of those who stand in their way. It was too much to expect that all of these many thousands of angry peasants could be held for long on a tight rein or under any form of discipline.”

“No bump from the convention for Trump after his boring epic rant.”
You forgot to say, “dark” boring epic rant. But what Punchy says may be true. However, let’s look at the same stuff from another angle. Like having two artists paint the same oak tree. Different perspective:
“This “bounce” seems to be a function of respondents viewing Biden less favorably than before, rather than viewing Trump more favorably. Morning Consult found that Biden’s favorability numbers have weakened while the president’s have remained steady.” Say what? Hold yer horses, there is more!
EARLY POLLING FINDS TRUMP GETTING A CONVENTION BOUNCE
“The Morning Consult survey is just one poll. We shouldn’t read too much into it.
However, Allahpundit calls attention to a YouGov poll (for Yahoo News) that also suggests a GOP bounce. It too finds that the Biden lead is down to 6 points — 47 to 41. At the end of July, YouGov had Biden up by 9 points.
YouGov states:
The convention appears to have boosted perceptions of Trump’s “strength” and convinced a small number of former Biden supporters to move toward the president. But the unrest in Kenosha, Wis., following the police shooting of Jacob Blake, a major talking point at the RNC, has not had a clear impact on voters’ choices — at least not yet.
(Emphasis added)
A 3 to 4 point convention bounce wouldn’t be bad by contemporary standards, especially given that the GOP Convention wasn’t a ratings smash.
If the two polls cited above accurately reflect the current state of public opinion, the Trump campaign still has plenty of work to do. However, it also has a message that seems to move voters.“

This reflects the important numbers. 270TOWIN averages all the State polls and comes out with this map showing Biden ahead 278-169 with 91 tossups. For Trump to eak out a win he has to win all the tossups and flip a state now blue. Trump has to win in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina , Ohio, and parts of Maine and Nebraska plus flip a blue state that has 10 or more delegates.. Check it out. The map is interactive so you can try your own formula.

The Hill reported:
Twenty-four percent of registered black voters in the Aug. 22-25 survey, which included the first two days of the convention, said they approve of the job Trump is doing as president, while 76 percent said they disapprove.
That is up 9 points from the previous survey conducted Aug. 8-11, where the President received 15 percent support among this group.
The survey found support among Hispanic voters also grew by 2 percentage points, from 30 percent in the last poll to 32 percent in this most recent survey.

There wont be any electoral votes until Nov 3rd oh great pony tail of ignorance. Go ahead whistle past the grave yard. I cant wait for the debates!! LOL
Cahaly wrote on Twitter that 63.8 percent of undecided voters in the company’s recent poll want Big Ten football this fall.
He said Donald Trump’s support of holding a football season makes those undecided voters more likely to support him by 4-to-1.
Breitbart News previously reported Whitmer has been the “lone governor” holding up the season.
“I was also told that one roadblock to the new plan is the fact that Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has been vehemently opposed to football being played – at the high school and college level – in the state this fall,” Ohio State insider Jeff Snook said

The Great Equalizer in this dialogue buts Punchy in the same bind as us purveyors of the truth and defenders of life, liberty, and the pursuit of doing your own thang. There just ain’t enough recent and actuate State polls out there, and they don’t out enough. That is if one was a polling junkie. That’s ok, but it’s the addiction to outrage and all the Drama Queen stuff that I find rather juvenile.
Let me dig up that link I saw a few days ago, this week. The guy really feels his and Punchy’s pain. The State Polls are just too damned slow! Feed me Seymour, feed me all night long.
Can’t find it. But the writer was jonesing waiting for new State Polls and pointed out that some state polls are a moth old or from early August, some from July, and just one state two weeks ago and the one new poll was 3 days.
So, Punch, looks like what we have here is a Mexican Standoff. We both don’t have what we need to start counting the electoral college path. Knock yourself out and break a leg. Didn’t recall you so gun hoed over state polling in 2016. It wasn’t your bag then, I reckon. Oh, sure, you paid it some lip service……
Nothing like a big honking humongous surprise, eh? Got caught with your pants down around your old man stockings with your ass flapping in the wind last time. Ouch. Live and learn. You won’t be fooled again. It’s the Electoral College you idiots! Go Paul, go. Bring home another participation trophy to go with your Ann Coulter doll. Did you hear her latest? She a firecracker, I tell ya.

Well that’s a clear eyed observation –
You’re not touched by a movie and the stars that were coming at the Democratic Convention were delivering something,” he said. “It’s a prop and it was not that good.
“In the end, I think, the two conventions will make quite a difference,” in what voters decide on Election Day, he concluded.
During the same interview, Riviere offered his views on Hillary Clinton’s recent insistence that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden not concede the November election to President Trump under any circumstances.
Riviere said Clinton’s comments were very revealing about her approach to politics.
“I hear someone that does not respect the people anymore,” Riviere said.

‘C-SPAN Had So Many Democrats Calling In Support For Trump That They Had To Change Their Protocol
“C-SPAN changed their open phone line labels after an overwhelming number of Democratic viewers called on Wednesday night proclaiming their support for President Donald Trump in the upcoming election.”
“Before the Republican National Convention, C-SPAN’s open phone lines were labeled as open for “Democrats,” “Republicans,” and “Other” viewers to call into and share their opinions on-air. After Trump’s acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention, however, C-SPAN received an influx of callers who identified as Democrat but said they would be voting for Trump in November.
Due to the increasing nature of these calls, the network adjusted the phone lines to encompass those who “Support Trump,” “Support Biden,” and “Support Others.”
