If someone argues for just one side of an issue and only opposes the other side, then it is a reasonable assumption that he supports the entirety of his preferred side until evidence to the contrary arrives. PaulE has made that clear in his years of one-sided support in these pages. That cannot be said for those of us who regularly take both sides to task.

Floyd was complaining about not being able to breathe in the car… it is a common problem with fentanyl overdoses, and Floyd had taken more than a fatal dose. He was a dead man struggling.
Let’s see, who else does BLM cite? Trayvon Martin, whose death was found by a jury to be justified self defense. And another “gentle giant”, Michael Brown, whose shooting was found to be justified by Obama’s Justice department and his wingman, Eric Holder, and no prosecutor would bring the case. “Hands up, don’t shoot” was a lie, and Brown was shot six times as he advanced on the cop.
BLM wants their predetermined outcome justice.

Paul Emery is of one mind and position. I am much more open-minded and will take the most logical and correct position regardless of the source. But since PE has TDS and before that the “anti-logical” drug called “socialism”, he is unable to ascertain the truth at all times. Floyd, when he was on his feet, was asked by an officer if he had taken anything and he clearly responded no. A shame, I’m sure between all the cops on the scene before the EMTs arrived there’d have been at least one dose of Naloxone that could have been found.
It takes a rare druggie to know when to trust a cop… one was a friend of mine from college. Ralph self medicated for his schizophrenia with hallucinogens, and once he miscalculated… not the dose he took, but where and when he took it. He was at the big merry-go-round at Griffith Park and the park was about to close. He found a policeman, explained he’d just taken a big dose of LSD and could they take him to a safe place? They were happy to oblige him.
