Hey Y’all, The Trump Dumpster Fire continues to burn out of control, The Buffoon thinks he was responsible for the Space X launch,
“A new petition, signed by thousands of people, is calling for U.S. president Donald Trump to stop taking credit for SpaceX and NASA accomplishments. The petition was created in response to a recent “Make Space Great Again” video released by Trump’s reelection campaign, which included footage of SpaceX’s recent successful launch of two NASA astronauts.
According to Ars Technica senior space editor Eric Berger, a “lot of people” at both NASA and SpaceX are furious about the ad.
“This campaign video, created on June 3rd, implies that the return of crewed launch on U.S. soil is solely to the credit of his Administration,” reads the petition. “This implication is untrue; the NASA Commercial Crew Program has been around since the Obama Administration (started in 2011) in its current form, and its roots go back to the Bush Administration.”
Still my idiot, lying President,

Good question: “Why didn’t President Barack Obama’s administration deal with this alleged ‘systemic’ or ‘structural’ or ‘institutional’ police brutality against blacks in his eight years in office? Meanwhile, over Memorial Day weekend in Obama’s adopted hometown of Chicago, 10 people were killed, and 49 were shot. In a city where roughly one-third of the population is black, 70% of the city’s homicide victims, according to the Chicago Police Department, are black. When and where do the protests begin?” —Larry Elder
Food for thought: “There is no natural place where one can logically stop with the collective culpability racket. If I as a ‘white’ American of multi-European ethnicities have ‘benefitted’ from the political and economic systems in the United States, one could just as plausibly argue that I benefitted from the Irish Potato Famine, the Inquisition, the Thirty Years’ War, the bubonic plague, the sacking of the library at Alexandria and every other historical event that somehow made it possible for me to be who and what and where I am at this moment. … History has proven — amply — that a political system founded upon class resentment, blame, hatred and violence destroys everything and helps no one.” —Laura Hollis
For the record: “The truth is that we have a much larger, deeper and more chilling problem on our hands. There is no doubt in my mind that foreign intelligence services are orbiting in or around this issue and contributing to the violence. They see an opportunity to further destabilize the United States. They want to roll back our influence. Unable to defeat us militarily, they want to strike at us economically and to chip away at our society, causing the population to lose confidence and trust in our system and structure of government. We must not play into their hands.” —Armstrong Williams
Upright: “It is only through honest conversations with your neighbors, your friends and the new people you bring into your life that we can begin to really hear one another again. Our political polarization has helped inspire extreme reactions. When we are ranting at one another from our own separate corners, our own news sources and our own social media clusters, we cannot listen, and we cannot solve anything. We have to stop reacting to everything out of our deep-seated ideologies and start having real conversations with one another again.” —Jackie Gingrich Cushman
Non compos mentis: “We’re devastated, grieving, and outraged by violence against Black lives. We must continue to demand accountability, justice, and an end to the inequity that continues to define every moment of life for Black America from the racist institutions that uphold white supremacy.” —Planned Parenthood, which, as Tyler O’Neil points out, butchers 247 black babies in the womb every day
Alpha jackass: “There are probably anywhere from 10 to 15 percent of the people out there who are just not very good people.” —Joe Biden
Race bait: “[America is] a private club founded by old rich white men, for rich white men.” —Charlamagne tha God

Nearly 4 in 10 American adults reported engaging in dangerous cleaning practices to prevent COVID-19, such as washing food with bleach, using household disinfecting products on their skin or intentionally inhaling vapors from cleaning products, according to a recent survey.
A report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) follows an earlier study describing an increase in calls to poison control centers regarding exposure to household cleaners, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The amendment language would have made an exception for anyone who already lawfully owned an assault weapon as long as they registered it with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
But the court in a 4-1 opinion said the ballot summary was misleading because it said weapons lawfully possessed before the initiative was passed would be exempted.
The court ruled that voters would be deceived because the initiative wouldn’t have protected the weapon itself, but rather the person who lawfully owned it. In other words, people who legally owned a weapon wouldn’t be able to sell it or give it to someone else.
“While the ballot summary purports to exempt registered assault weapons lawfully possessed prior to the Initiative’s effective date, the Initiative does not categorically exempt the assault weapon, only the current owner’s possession of that assault weapon. The ballot summary is therefore affirmatively misleading,” the court wrote in its opinion.

https://nationalpost.com/news/liberal-gun-ban-quietly-expanded-potentially-putting-owners-unknowingly-on-wrong-side-of-the-law
OTTAWA — The RCMP has quietly outlawed hundreds of rifles and shotguns over the past month, adding to the list of 1,500 firearms already banned by the Liberal government on May 1.
The list has been expanded without public notifications from either the RCMP or the federal government, raising concerns among gun sellers and owners that they could have unknowingly bought, sold or transported illegal firearms in recent weeks. The recently banned firearms have all been deemed illegal retroactively, as of May 1.
The new list also includes a number of single-shot and semi-automatic shotguns, and at least one Russian-made pump-action, despite repeated claims by Public Safety Minister Bill Blair that Ottawa’s sweeping ban would not include guns used for bird hunting.
Blair defended the sweeping prohibition in early May, after some confusion emerged over whether some 10 and 12-gauge shotguns could be included in the ban, due to a provision that outlaws any firearm with a bore diameter greater than 20 millimetres.

Gregory 823pm – Thank you again Gregory. To those in the military ‘assault weapon’ is very meaningful term. It is any military procured and issued weapon to be used in an assault. They come in many shapes and sizes including mounted, self-propelled, launched, crew-served, and individual. Assault rifles are just one kind of assault weapon. That’s what it was when I was a combat arms officer and they remain the same today. My 704pm was meant to reject the anti-gunners’ labeling of weapons that no military today would procure and issue its troops for the purpose of carrying out assault (or even point defense) missions. But then again, armchair warriors have a different set of semantics.

And in exactly the same way, an “assault weapon” is a weapon used in an assault, differentiating it from, say, a wall decoration.
“Assault weapon” as a term was invented to confuse the voters into banning semiautomatic rifles thinking the were full auto “assault rifles” first introduced by Germany circa 1944 but made famous by the Soviet AK-47 and the US M16.

Lets not forget the Greatest Generation –
All too many have been, for 76 years since that fateful June 6 on France’s Normandy beaches, when allied troops in 1944 turned the course of World War II and went on to defeat fascism in Europe in one of the most remarkable feats in military history.
Forgotten they will never be. Revered, yes. But Saturday’s anniversary will be one of the loneliest remembrances ever, as the coronavirus pandemic is keeping almost everyone away — from government leaders to frail veterans who might not get another chance for a final farewell to their unlucky comrades.
Rain and wind are also forecast, after weeks of warm, sunny weather.
“I miss the others,” said Charles Shay, who as a U.S. Army medic was in the first wave of soldiers to wade ashore at Omaha Beach under relentless fire on D-Day.
Shay, 95, lives in France close to the beach where he and so many others landed in 1944. He knows of no U.S. veterans making the trip overseas to observe D-Day this year.
“I guess I will be alone here this year,” Shay said before he performed a Native American ritual to honor his comrades by spreading the smoke of burning white sage into the winds lashing the Normandy coast Friday.
The eerie atmosphere touches the French as well as Americans.
“The sadness is almost too much, because there is no one,” said local guide Adeline James. “Plus you have their stories. The history is sad and it’s even more overwhelming now between the weather, the (virus) situation and, and, and.”

A closing thought on our valiant warriors –
Were it not for National Guard soldiers deployed to Washington, D.C., this week, all of the most cherished monuments in the nationa’s capital would have been defaced by violent protesters, Fox News’ Pete Hegseth said Friday night.
In addition, the White House likely would have been besieged, the co-host of “Fox & Friends Weekend” said during an appearance on “Hannity.”
Hegseth knows firsthand, because he spent some time serving with the Guard in D.C. during the unrest.
“I was there for three nights on the streets of Washington, D.C.,” Hegseth said. “At one point, it was me and a handful of other guys standing at the Vietnam War Memorial to defend it from people who would want to deface it, after the Lincoln Memorial.”
Hegseth said that while he was stationed at The Wall, he prayed and began to think how similar the situation was to that experienced by troops returning from Vietnam in the 1960s and 1970s, many of whom received hostile welcomes in the U.S.
“I remember saying a prayer there and thinking, ‘This is what it’s like to be a Vietnam veteran — what they went through when they came home,’” he said.

The Union is now the gatekeeper to keep out dissent especially from me. But if I scare them and the liberal democrats so much you know I must be effective. This is a small example of why the press and these local papers are headed to the dustbin. They cannot stand a conservative voice and when we defend ourselves from their minions attacks, they have to silence us. The Union is no different then the censors of Facebook and Twitter who flag and remove conservatives. I know the censors at the Union will tell you that I am too aggressive or provocative in my defense of the values and conservative ideology.
