I am sure some readers may be unaware that Flynn is under court (Mueller)order not to say a peep about anything (gag order) until after he has completed his full sentence, probationary periods, and the whole thing is done. Even after sentencing, he is not free to speak about his case until is debt to society has been paid in full, plus.
Thus, if the case is withdrawn, the restrictions placed by Mueller on General Michael Flynn Is null and void. Flynn will be free to speak. And that is one big big big problem for the Establishment Industrial Complex and it’s many tentacles. Big problem.
Flynn knows too much and Obama hates him, specially for disagreeing with Obama’s prosecution of the ISIS war. Flynn was the top dog of Defense Intelligence and advised the former President. Nobody on the Left wants Flynn to say where the bodies are, who did it and how they done did it. He smells a rat with Brennan and Clapper and others in the Obama Administration and they hated him.
Whether Flynn would have been a good fit for Trump’s NSA, we will never know. The only thing I do know is there is no way Flynn can be allowed to speak until after the election. Thus, the got to Sullivan.
You mess with those boys and they have six ways to Sunday to get back at you. They have the full weight of the United States Government Juggernaut barreling down on you to crush you into dust along with anyone you love.
Flynn as the former DNI knows too much. And being an honorable man, he has not leaked once.

Re Flynn – But even as an honorable man who has not leaked, I sincerely hope that he has spent some considerable time writing all this down into an expanding body of confidential memoirs, the existence of which is known to at least a couple of intimates. There’s no telling what kind of accident may befall him in the interval before he gets his 1A rights back – we know of several unfortunates in recent years who have not lived to tell the tale.

They did the same this to KT McFarland, a woman I have admired and respected much…started as a secretary for Kissinger and worked her way up to the highest level that a woman ever held In National Security at the time.
As Flynn’s deputy, the FBI one day knock on KT’s door, no warning, no announcement, no phone call in advance. KT was quite open and forthright with them, but as the questioning continued (just stopped by to ask a couple of questions, ma’am, nothing important, it will be quick’) KT asked them directly, “Do I need a lawyer?” The agent said, “Well, we are not allowed to tell you that you don’t need a lawyer….but that will delay things and we just have a couple more questions. Almost done.”
Then they seized KT phone and computer records and later came back and asked her all theses questions on prior dates without letting her see her calendar or records to refresh her memory.
They got KT McFarland when she said (again, they would not let her see her own records or calendar) that she returned a phone call to so-and-so on a Tuesday evening when in fact she made the call on Wednesday morning. They had her for lying to the FBI and told her she could skate IF she fingered Mike Flynn for something she had no knowledge of. or was a lie. A big setup, same MO as the used on Flynn. Exactly. KT got a lawyer, held her ground, told them she will NOT lie (bear false witness) and finally they went away…finally after all the threats of jail time and bankruptcy.
****All the above to get to this line. When Michael Flynn was shown the door and led out of the WH, the last thing he said to his top deputy KT McFarland was “Funny, I joined the military to fight the Russians.”
Can you say, “entrapment”?. Can you say, “set up like a bowling pin? Good, I knew you could. Can you say, “Not a smidgen of corruption, by the book?” I cannot say that.

Methinks it ain’t nothin’ new. There is likely some standard rule of national police forces that eventually (a)they choose sides and (b)they abuse their power. Whether it’s Francis Walsingham or the Cheka (or JE Hoover), the natural tendencies will be the same. Eventually they run the state or a clever ruler builds a system of competitive organizations ala Stalin’s Army/Party/NKVD. Sometimes they are replaced in a frisky evening of bloodletting.
Ms. McFarland is just collateral damage of course. In the War Against Trump, any tactic will do. The Blue Mob wouldn’t blink if Trump loyalists were simply driven to the nearest quarry and given a hot lead injection. It’s for the children of course.
