Dealing with this outbreak proves that 1 out of 3 LIBS are just as stupid as the other two… Go ahead, check the math. It adds up perfectly.

My guess is that they’ll have a pretty good time except for the lack of the occasional dollar or two. HH (or somebody) will drive around and make sure they have plenty of sammiches. Everybody else is off the street. You can be as loudly schizo as you like and the cops won’t do anything.

Additionally, the rise in approval does not just stem from Republicans. The survey found that the increase was “largely driven by 8-point bumps in approval among Democrats (from 18 percent to 26 percent) and independents (from 43 percent to 51 percent), while positive sentiment among GOP voters rose from 83 percent to 87 percent.”
Morning Consult’s findings coincide with the trend displayed in a Harris poll released Thursday, which showed Trump’s approval, in terms of “handling” the pandemic, jumping five points, 51 percent to 56 percent, in less than a week.
An ABC/Ipsos survey released on Friday also showed 55 percent of Americans approving of the president’s management of the crisis, up from 43 percent who approved last week.

Mexico says it wants the wall on the US-Mexico border completed by the end of the week.
With the wall now three years overdue, many Mexicans were becoming increasingly anxious about having such a chaotic nation on their doorstep, with no physical border.
“Seriously, let’s get this fucking thing up yesterday,” one Mexican worker said, watching a news report on America’s handling of COVID-19.
“It’s getting ridiculous. Why should we have to put up with an out-of-control nation on our border? Let’s get this wall built”.
In a strongly-worded statement, the Mexican President Andres Manual Lopez Obrador said he had had enough.
“It’s mayhem over there – totally out of control. What we can’t have is thousands of Americans fleeing here without any consequences. We don’t want to become a dumping ground for the US’s problems. We need a proper border, and we need it now.
“Let’s get it built. We’ll pay for it,” he said.LikeLike

They can keep their cheap labor and get going! No one is stopping them from doing “their fair share”.
Just give the workers some of that meth, instead of shipping it here,, and that wall will go up in no time.
They just need to watch out for those Chinese they are helping smuggle into the U.S. They might be carrying cases of Corona..(and not the beer)LikeLike

Those bastard Democrats..
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/mcconnell-despite-continued-negotiations-coronavirus-vote-will-happen-monday-the-wheel-has-to-stop-at-some-point
“McConnell specifically mentioned that one Democrat in the House said that this is “a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.” That quote, according to The Hill, had been attributed to House Majority Whip Rep. Jim Clyburn.”
House Democratic caucus, lawmakers one by one laid out a sweeping wish list of provisions they want to see included in the nascent package, including a boost in infrastructure spending, an expansion of Social Security benefits and funding for states to set up an all-mail voting system in the event the pandemic extends into November’s elections.
“This is a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision,” Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) told lawmakers, according to a source on the call.

Question of the morni…early afternoon.
When all the dust settles, to what extent will the China Flu accelerate CalEscape?
Truth is, due to the decriminalization of, well, crime, prices, Diversity!, and the simple fact that California is viewed as unsafe when things get sketchy, I’ll bet you see a lot of moving trucks saddling up this summer. This assumes there isn’t a housing price crash.
Even for a tofu-farting liberal (h/t to police blotter), Wyoming might look pretty good to white people with a bit of money. They’ll dirty up wherever they go of course, but that’s just the nature of humanity.LikeLike

Speaking of people bailing from sunny CA, at least the rat maze on the coast.
….
As the coronavirus pandemic tightens its grip on California’s largest cities, some residents are fleeing urban sprawl and seeking shelter in isolated communities in the Mojave Desert or rugged Sierra Nevada. Their hope, they say, is to avoid possible public unrest and limit their exposure to the virus.
These new urban immigrants are not entirely welcome, however. Locals fear their arrival could overwhelm the public health systems of small towns already struggling to cope with the growing crisis, and public health officials worry the movement will lead to greater spread of the highly contagious virus.
In Los Angeles, Mayor Eric Garcetti announced Thursday night that residents were forbidden from moving to or from vacation homes outside the city, along with a number of other health and safety restrictions aimed at fighting contagion.
In Mammoth Lakes, a small Eastern Sierra town that survives primarily on skiing at Mammoth Mountain, the tourism board this week told nonresidents to keep out. “The reason is simple,” the board’s website announced. “As a small, remote mountain community our healthcare facilities lack the capacity to handle a widespread outbreak of COVID-19.”

My lifelong buddy moved to Wyoming, visited him and his lovely bride last Oct. He e-mailed yesterday and said he can see patches of grass in his backyard for the first time this year. Snow and all. The local Walmart there had one single fist thrown over TP and it made front page news. The good folks were so embarrassed by that kind of behavior that the public shaming started and that was the one and only incident. I cannot believe how clean all the stores are and how friendly all the folks are, even in the parking lots.
Some greenie wanted to initiate a State Income tax to pay for the Green New Deal (oil and gas extraction revenue is why there is no State Income tax in WO), and they threatened to hang her from the rafters of the Statehouse. Just kidding. They threatened to toss her from the balcony above the Assembly chambers. :).
