[Just happened to visit Nevada County Voices, an info website run by our favorite climate catastrophe czarina, Dr Anna Haynes. It appears that since the passing of Russ Steele, RR remains as the sole active 'rightwing' website in these parts. On her resourceful site we are properly relegated to the extreme right column that is off-page, so it will not surprise and offend the more sensitive eyes of her polite company visitors (a trigger warning pointer is provided). I continue to note over the years that Dr Haynes' political spectrum remains one-winged. Nowhere are her voluminous lists of left-leaning sites so identified. I suppose all of those are like our self-proclaimed centrists Bob Crabb and George Boardman – politically vanilla, untinged and untrammeled by any shade of partisanship. We are properly put in our place. gjr]

Paul, if you gave a shit about human-caused global warming, you would shout for the Mighty Wall of Trump to be 2x taller. Every additional Mexican or Guatemalan in the US or Syrian in Europe burns more fuel, consumes more stuff, makes more CO2 than in their home country.

Interesting to note that the planets in our solar system are experiencing higher temps. I personally blame these temperature changes on Mars and Neptune on human beings and, of course, cockroach farts.

Oh well, as we discussed earlier, the Blue Mob doesn’t want naturally-occurring climate, they want a thermostat. If the glaciers were advancing on London, they’d all be burning coal as fast as possible.

You can make a case for it. An unlucky President is kind of like having a bad Harvest King. If the crops fail, there’ll be hell to pay since the gods are mad about something.
It’ll be close no matter what, although the great irony of our age is if a Chinese flu (caused by overpopulation, disgusting eating habits, and sketchy hygiene) caused a Biden presidency. For all I know, we’ll go into a new golden age with open borders and turning transsexuals into saints.
Like the coronavirus, the best way to deal with progressives is a wall constructed with wealth and distance. Even wealthy progressives follow that path.

From a probability perspective you are correct…..Bidens chances have improved due to the stock market decline and that general feeling of unease associated with the spread of Corona. I approached your premise from the “either he unseats Trump or he doesn’t” standpoint without caring if his chances went from 0.42 to 0.54 (numbers provided for example purposes only. There are no calculations behind them.). Given this are Bidens chances better? Yes…..but in my opinion, still not enough to win in November if nothing else of significance happens between now and the election.
I didn’t really address your 1:28, I merely used it as a starting point for my comment.

I do like the conspiracy theories going around. The non-racist virus is a plot to distract the American public from seeing Bubblebrain as he and watch him self destruct daily. It’s like literally watching some object unglue, falling apart at the seams before one’s very eyes. Some things you cannot hide and maybe a good VP pic can distract from the Elephant in the room. It’s seems a bit far fetched to believe in that conspiracy theory, but as the Obama team said, “Never let a crisis go to waste.” And there is the theory that this is China’s ‘Montezuma’s Revenge’ for our fair trade policies.
Let’s face it, folks. Joe Biden has always been a placeholder for the Dems until someone better was selected. Well, no one better came forth. Anyway, the Dems are apparently stuck with Joe and his 5-7 minute speeches and a daily barrage of gaffs for us to enjoy…assuming his handlers let him out of his cage now and then to change the newspaper lining the birdcage. Keep him on a tight lease! Hide him from the public.
The spin is Joe is different than Trump and we need a steady old hand at the helm to steer us through these troubled waters. Yeah right. Yes, Joe went door to door wearing out the shoe leather to win his Senate seat. But, that was when he was 29 year olds and his Social Security number is in Roman Numerals…and he still talks about it and the good ole days. A regular tough guy, for sure. Just ask Corn Pop or that young lady that said she has been to a caucus.

It seems to me that they should simply give the teams/players a cut of the ad revenue. If women pull in more money, they get paid more. QED. The teams should have a direct interest in making their show more entertaining. I can provide ideas if they ask me.
You do have to wonder how many years elapse until women’s soccer teams are made up purely of transsexual players. Just imagine all the money to be made on advertising then.
