OMG, I can’t believe you said that. OMG. It wasn’t the deal Uranium One Deal you idiot that was the real scandal. And yes, Mueller signed off on it. It was the 3rd party under the radar group when things quieted down that got the export license. The Uranium was never supposed to leave the USA. What 4 year investigations? Lol. Huber? The guy Sessions appointed to look into the matter and the Clinton Foundation? The guy who said he couldn’t investigate because he did not want to interfere with the Mueller probe, the IG probes, and sat on his hands until Barr finally stepped in and told him to shit or get off the pot, wrap it up, quit sitting on your hands or end it.
And why did our Secretary of State at the time (Hillary) send Mueller to personally deliver a sample of Uranium to Putin when the FBI is NOT under the jurisdiction of the State Department?
Ah, any investigation into Hillary will go no where. That’s a given. Plausible deniability is the Clinton game, corruption is the name.
Odd, that after the export license was issued in quiet, the Russians and oligarchs involved sent the Clinton Foundation 260 million in charitable donations. But, who cares. Just more reasons they wanted Hillary be President, lol. Nice reset button. Big button, eh?
Remember when Director Mueller has ready to bust Hezzbola and other Iranian backed raghead groups for that massive drug trafficking scheme and money laundering by buying US used cars and Toyota pickups? You have seen those Toyota pickups all lined up in the desert, right? Oh, the FBI and Intel had the whole drug smuggling and financial operation dead to rights. But, Obama told Mueller to cease and desist to not upset the Iranians so his deal with the “moderates” in the Iranian government could go through, lol.
Actually, I have no problem with that (Mueller and Iran.) It’s the President’s purview to set foreign policy and the President is the Executive Office leading his cabinet and Justice Department. If Obama says pull the plug on the funding of Hezzbola or any organization involved in drug trafficking, so be it. He’s the boss, applesauce. We must remain consistent, eh? National security matters. Keep Congress out of it.
Ok, here’s the scope on Uranium One: Ah, nevermind, it’s a waste of valuable time. Just keep posting Wikipedia and remember just about anyone can go to Wikipedia and edit or add to it. Ain’t what it used to be, for sure. I prefer to read Snowden’s cables and the e-mails Wikileaks released on the Uranium One matter. And documents released by small countries and parliaments in the former Soviet blocks into the matter. Talk about some strong arming going on.

Nah, Mitch don’t even want it in his Senate. Right now, Bolton is Nancy’s hope and prayer Hail Mary. The House Dims like Nancy have already gone from demanding the rules in advance, to being guaranteed their witnesses testifying in the Trail of the Century, to maybe having witnesses after further discussions, to just send it over.
They only have a Bolton Hail Mary (which may be a dud) and an empty hand. At least we are not talking about their candidate that will take down Trump. The Dems left that job up to Nancy. Did Nancy just paint herself into a corner? Why is Trump still standing????

Ah Dems, just send your articles of impeachment with what you got over to the Senate and say at least you tried. Declare some kind of moral victory, Lefties. Peace with honor of something. Defenders of the Constitution and all that stuff. Even wear flag pins for a day.
Uranium was all about the mysterious third party getting the export license. Iran was all about the international bribes to get the deal…a deal that is/was the most important accomplishment of our Nobel Peace Prize winner’s legacy. Well, that and you can keep your doctor and the Affordable Care Act would cost the taxpayer no one dime and actually reduce the deficit. But Iran was the big one for O’s foreign policy legacy. Needed something to cover over Libya and Syria.
Gotta fight for that legacy , six ways to Sunday. Uranian One was a distraction to take the eyes off the 3rd Party Export license to a place that has Russian Orthodox Churches scattered about.

The Committee on Foreign Investments (SFIUS) has nine members, including the secretaries of the treasury, state, defense, homeland security, commerce and energy; the attorney general; and representatives from two White House offices (the United States Trade Representative and the Office of Science and Technology Policy).
The committee can’t actually stop a sale from going through — it can only approve a sale. The president is the only one who can stop a sale, if the committee or any one member “recommends suspension or prohibition of the transaction,” according to guidelines issued by the Treasury Department in December 2008 after the department adopted its final rule a month earlier.
For this and other reasons, we have written that Trump is wrong to claim that Clinton “gave away 20 percent of the uranium in the United States” to Russia. Clinton could have objected — as could the eight other voting members — but that objection alone wouldn’t have stopped the sale of the stake of Uranium One to Rosatom.
“Only the President has the authority to suspend or prohibit a covered transaction,” the federal guidelines say.

”’It is unlikely that Secretary Clinton personally participated in the transaction. Her assistant secretary says she did not intervene, and given the nature of the transaction and the apparent lack of controversy, that is a plausible scenario…

The structure of CFIUS is such that no one agency can control the outcome of the consideration. Here it appears that the entire committee and the NRC were all satisfied with the mitigation put in place. It is a very far stretch to lay this result at State’s doorstep—the vigorous objection of any of the security-minded agencies would likely have derailed the transaction, but none, evidently was forthcoming. I have no doubt that State favored the sale—but that is likely the position it would take today under Secretary Rex Tillerson and was surely the position it would have taken under Secretaries Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice and John Kerry. State has a strong institutional bias in favor of accommodating foreign investment in the United States. Here, it seems clear that the Pentagon and DHS did not object either.
The inherent bias of the process is to approve transactions, with mitigation if needed. Intervention and blocking are rare and require more than a single agency to be activated. Put another way, no single agency has a veto on the transaction—the transaction goes forward unless a substantial majority of CFIUS is motivated by grave concerns to block it. So the most accurate way to characterize this case is that State, along with all the other agencies, declined to recommend a presidential veto.
Uranium One’s licenses are for mining and extraction, not for export. This makes the claim that we “gave away” 20% of America’s uranium fairly hyperbolic. The expectation, in light of the NRC’s assessment, would have been that the uranium mined would be marketed in America (with the profits going to Russia).”’

For the interested reader, note that ‘G’ (448pm) still thinks the Senate trial is a criminal trial like those held in our courts. In fact, it is nothing but a political trial in which no criminal charges have been developed by the House in its articles of impeachment, and the development of which the House purposely avoided by not issuing subpoenas for witnesses the Dems now claim have culpable evidence against the President and therefore must be heard. That, of course, is utter political bullshit. If the House Dems had even a whiff of evidence that those witnesses incriminate Trump, they would have taken their subpoenas to court and scrutinized those witnesses to come up with some real articles of impeachment instead of the crap they’ve piled up to date. The real facts of the matter are that the Dems don’t have a case, and they don’t dare agree to a reciprocal call for witnesses that would include both Bidens, Schiff, Nadler, Comey, …, and the whole list of low-lifes that worked hard to bamboozle the public and the FISC to take down, with manufactured and purchased ‘evidence’, a candidate they opposed. The Senate trial will be a political conclusion to a shameless political charade.

The Constitution left the removing of a President in the hands of the Senate. Two thirds vote. It is silent of how they conduct their affairs besides anyway they wish. Go by the same rules they used for Bubba. It’s only fair.
Our founding fathers recognized that is was 100% a political trail, not a criminal proceeding. Sure, the guidance is for things such as treason and bribery and high crimes and misdemeanors. Stuff written before there was a judicial code. It’s all politics…as has become abundantly clear to any passive viewer. Wonder what the Founders were thinking of as ‘other misdemeanors’? Like, making you feel butthurt by his tweets? By seeking legal counsel (SCOTUS) in disputes? Spitting on the sidewalk? Mocking his opponents and exposing how crazy they have become? Heck, one crazy said that Trump should be impeached for his Travel Ban that SCOTUS upheld. Trump should be impeached for upholding the Constitution and for the framers’ idea of checks and balances, ROFLMAO. Another crazy said Trump should be impeached for saying he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and no consequences. Funny guy, drives the Enemy of the People out of their ever loving minds. Actually, that last position about 5th Avenue as an impeachable offense is something Punchy wholeheartedly agrees with. 🙂

Come to think of it, the House Speaker is acting like she runs the Senate, the government, and the Oval Office. For the interested reader, note that George 5:21 still thinks that the Constitution and rule of law don’t matter when it comes to Trump and his cronies. They shouldn’t have to testify and the republican controlled senate should hold a sham trial so that the American public doesn’t find out just how corrupt trump really is. The real facts don’t matter and the republicans and don’t care about facts anyway as they are a bunch of low-lifes that worked hard to bamboozle the public in order to suppress evidence against their dear leader who is obviously a liar and a convicted fraud.

Yes, the Uranium One deal was to sell US uranium deposits to a Canadian firm who in turned sold the outfit to a Russian company. We are good to there. But, all your charts and graphs are missing the most important link, the true scandal. Where is it????? It’s not there in your VOX link. It’s not about going from point A to point B.
The deal required that the US uranium is not to leave the States (or Canada). Australia, Canada, the US, and other counties tightly control where their uranium goes. Very, very tightly controlled. Fanatically obsessively controlled.
So, when time passed, a company stepped in (3rd Party not mentioned in your charts and graphs) and was granted a export license which allowed the Uranium to leave North America. It was not the outfit at point A nor the outfit at point B. It was a 3rd Party that did not own Uranium One.
That, my cute aborable high IQ thinker, is why you don’t get it. Who issued the export license to who and what is Company C relationship to various Eastern Block banks and countries…like Russia. I know, oh I know much about the 3rd Party that was issued the license to get our Uranium out of North America. An outfit on the surface which has no ties to Russia or Canada. Follow the breadcrumbs, little one, and it will take you to Grandma’s house in the woods.
Me thinks you thinker is broken. Happens to a lot of high IQ thinkers. Some are called eccentrics, some are called madmen. I will refrain from pigeon holing you, oh great one. Grappling with multiple concepts simultaneously is not your forte. It’s not a matter of going from point A to point B, but more a matter of leaving point A.
As a man of my word, I will put the matter to rest. Did like for cute naive question about export license. What export license? Oh, the graph in VOX was assembled by Joy Reed and Shep Smith, ROFLMAO. I did the sin of omission. Mea Culpa. Should read “ Company C’s relationship to various (tiny) Eastern Bloc banks and government members who received much pressure to sign on to be a participant in the deal under much much pressure from the previous Administration. The unwilling participants where threatened with the loss of all US aide on the spot….and Russia.” Unwilling participants, if you prefer. Offered a deal they could not refuse.
Another former Sec of State leaving her/his claw marks of corruption everywhere she and company she hung out with went….. and corrupted everyone and everything she/he touched.
That my friends and foes is the origins of Company C, used to be a reluctant front man for Company C…the outfit that got the export license. There’s money to be made if you play ball. It would behoove you to do this favor for us.
