    Honestly it’s not a bad comparison. In both cases someone is being accused of using government powers to further their own political ends. It’s just that in Pelosi’s case the quid pro quo is more obvious.
    Of course, the truth is that politics is all about quid pro quo. I’d ask you how unusual the thing Trump was accused of really is in all administrations, but the likelihood of a well thought out answer is nil so why bother. I can just imagine the dirty deals done by the James Bakers and the Valerie Jarretts of the world. Thank God you didn’t vote for Obama the second time.

We note that English spelling did not become standardized until Johnson et al introduced their dictionaries in the 1700s. Today we are regressing back to a more confusing and information-shedding lexicon, simply because of our fractured educational system abetted by ideological ‘inclusivity’.

    Castaneda 1046am – It’s actually you who has to prove that formal tranmittal of the articles of an accomplished impeachment is required to start the Senate trial. Andrew McCarthy addresses a different question – do you see that? Every Dem congresscritter agreed that when the final vote was taken in the House, at that moment Trump stood impeached. But I can’t find where it says that the Senate has to wait for the transmittal; can you show us how you became convinced of that?
