“CNN Guest: Trump Is ‘Destructive Cult’ Leader, Uses ‘Mind Control’ on Supporters.
BRIAN STELTER: The word “cult” has been popping up more and more. Think back to two weeks ago on this program, Anthony Scaramucci talked about his claim that Trump supporters are in a cult. Just last week, Dan Rather said he thinks for Trump seems increasingly cultish. And this weekend in The Washington Post, Trump critic and Republican strategist John Weaver said the GOP is “not a party anymore in the traditional sense; It’s a cult.”

Fed’s Powell Says U.S. Economy’s Glass Is ‘More Than Half Full’
Bloomberg) — Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell struck an upbeat tone in gauging the ability of policy makers to extend the record U.S. economic expansion, while signaling interest rates would probably remain on hold.
“At this point in the long expansion, I see the glass as much more than half full,” Powell said in the text of remarks he’s scheduled to deliver Monday evening in Providence, Rhode Island. “With the right policies, we can fill it further, building on the gains so far and spreading the benefits more broadly to all Americans.”

It does bring up the point. Did the cult leaders come up with a cult meme and pass it down to the cult members to accuse the Republicans of being a cult? or did he simply have the word stick to his noggin’ while browsing the 50 anti-Trump op-eds on the daily reading list? It’s hard to accuse people of being smart enough to organize when a hivemind will do.
It’s not dissimilar to how the Trump ‘crimes’ tend to consist of just how Democratic misdeeds are uncovered. Topsy Turvy World makes for an interesting timeline to live in.
You just know, of course, that the God Emperor just loves all of this.

For the record: “The concern among senior naval officers is that Chief [Petty Officer Edward] Gallagher’s behavior is symptomatic of a larger cultural problem of ill-discipline that they say has developed in some SEAL units. This includes episodes of substance abuse, sexual harassment or assault, mistreating detainees and generally bending the rules. Our sources say military leaders want to clean this up, and they are worried about a message of tolerance for misbehavior that Mr. Trump’s intervention into Chief Gallagher’s case might send.” —The Wall Street Journal
Point: “Since 2013, more than 150 trans people have been murdered in the U.S., the majority Black transgender women. On #TDoR2019, we remember and honor the lives lost, hold their loved ones in our hearts and must commit to doing all we can to end this epidemic of violence and hate.” —Chelsea Clinton
Counterpoint: “The US is one of the safest countries for trans people. The murder rate of trans victims is actually lower than that for cis population. Also, who is behind the murders? Mostly black men.” —Andy Ngo, whose account was suspended by Twitter for telling this truth
Changed mind: “You can censure. You don’t have to remove the president. We are so close to an election. I will tell you, sitting here, knowing how divided this country is, I don’t see the value of kicking him out of office, but I do see the value of putting down a marker saying his behavior is not acceptable.” —Rep. Brenda Lawrence (D-MI)
Infighting: “Elections should not be for sale. Not to billionaires. Not to corporate executives. We need to build a grassroots movement. We have a country that works great for billionaires. Works great for corporate executives. But it’s not working for the rest of America. And if the only way that Democrats can pick a nominee is to go to the billionaires and corporate executives, then we’re going to have a country that keeps working better and better for those at the top.” —Elizabeth Warren on Michael Bloomberg
Thanks Obama: “In 2008, middle-class workers spent about 7.8% of household income on premiums and deductibles. By 2018, that figure had climbed to 11.5%.” —ABC News (“Virtually every single Democrat candidate for president wants to take his costly, broken promise and raise the stakes times ten.” —Peter Heck)
And last… “The Washington Post published a story claiming Barack Obama is a ‘Conservative.’ Which makes sense considering they also believe: Biological men can be women. President Trump is a Russian puppet. And ISIS terrorists are ‘Austere religious scholars.’” —Charlie Kirk

Meanwhile, remember how the left demanded that all police start wearing body cameras, because this would reveal the massive amounts of police brutality? Well, now some lefties are having second thoughts, probably because the expected results aren’t coming in. In fact, the opposite may be the case. So naturally now there are complaints that police body cams are “racist.” Newsweek (a former magazine), for example:
“Police Body Cameras Threaten the Civil Rights of Black and Brown People, New Report Says”
“The number of U.S. police departments outfitting their officers with body cameras increases each year, but the cameras can pose a threat to civil rights if the departments fail to set rules that govern when officers review footage from their cameras, according to a new report.
“The vast majority of the nation’s biggest police departments allow officers to watch footage from body cameras whenever they want, including before they write their incident reports or make statements, said the report, which was released Tuesday by the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights.
“Unrestricted footage review places civil rights at risk and undermines the goals of transparency and accountability,” said Vanita Gupta, former head of the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division and current head of the Leadership Conference, in the report’s introduction.
Because an officer’s memory of an event may be altered by watching body camera footage, doing so will likely alter what officers write in their reports. That, in turn, can make it more difficult for investigators or courts to assess whether the officer’s actions were reasonable based on what he or she perceived at the time of the incident, states the report, “The Illusion of Accuracy: How Body-Worn Camera Footage Can Distort Evidence.”
https://www.newsweek.com/police-body-camera-incident-report-memory-civil-rights-minority-711584?fbclid=IwAR1P3obsUAT0DQ6GssmAehiW384sEesE0p7wUZKfKDmz5Nh9-E1k1gk1hDw

Not only is the Prez solidly holding the base he is holding the dems he got in 16′ and he has picked up 7 percent of shrillary voters in swing states! Time to run for the clutching pearls, you know who you are! LOL
Many of the white working-class voters in the Rust Belt who supported the president in 2016 were traditionally Democratic voters who backed President Obama in 2012 and even continued to vote Democratic down-ballot in 2016. Democrats generally held on to these voters in 2018, but the reasons many of them voted for Mr. Trump, like his promises on immigration or the economy, could still be relevant.
The Times cited several Democrat voters in their story who voiced their support for Trump’s policies, despite their critical views about his character.
Trump is also winning a small portion of former Hillary Clinton voters, according to the poll.
The swing state survey found that seven percent of voters who supported Clinton for president in 2016 now approve of the president’s performance in office.

Among critical independents, there are troubling signs for impeachment backers. Fifty percent of independents questioned in an NPR/PBS/Marist poll conducted Nov. 11-15 did not support impeaching and removing Trump from office, with just 42 percent backing such a move. That’s a slight dip in support compared with the previous NPR/PBS/Marist poll – conducted the first week in October – when support stood at 45 percent.

So now Trump is throwing Giuliani under the bus. Just like I predicted. That’s after several who testified under oath last week said very clearly that they were instructed bo talk to Rudy. If that;s tue why wont Trump him testify?
“President Donald Trump appeared to hang his personal lawyer out to dry in an interview with former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly on Tuesday night, insisting that Rudy Giuliani’s push for a Biden investigation in Ukraine was not done on his behalf and noting that Giuliani has “other clients.”
Asked point-blank if Giuliani was acting on his behalf in trying to dig up dirt on former vice president Joe Biden—an issue now at the heart of an impeachment inquiry—Trump said, “No, I didn’t direct him, but he is a warrior, he is a warrior.”
When asked what Giuliani was doing in Ukraine, Trump deflected and told the ex-Fox anchor that he would “have to ask that to Rudy.”

By denying that he was representing him in the Ukraine deal. There have been numerous people testifying under oath that they were told Rudy’s the go to guy and that was Trumps plan. Now Trump says “No, I didn’t direct him, but he is a warrior, he is a warrior.” as if to not take responsibility for Giuliani’s actions. Here’s a quote from Sondland:
““Secretary Perry, Ambassador Volker and I worked with Mr. Rudy Giuliani on Ukraine matters at the express direction of the President of the United States,” Sondland said. “We did not want to work with Mr. Giuliani. Simply put, we played the hand we were dealt. We all understood that if we refused to work with Mr. Giuliani, we would lose an important opportunity to cement relations between the United States and Ukraine.
