The wind is howling at my house, 3mph!!! About what it was when power was turned off after 3AM.
I can’t believe pge is planning on restoring power… a tragedy in the making.
/sarc
A workable plan would require there being actual wind, not forecast. Or perhaps wind and evidence of sparking.
In the Paradise inferno, iirc there were multiple indications of equipment sparking and they didn’t act.

The nearest airport showing gusting winds in the wee hours was Blue Canyon (KBLU)… gusts to 20kts (half that of the forecast scares) in the middle of the night… and they didn’t have their power taken down.

No airs or light airs, I look at the calander. Its September, which usually is the height of fire season. The Paradise fire happened in November. End of a long summer ain’t end of March or April, May. No solutions.
And enterprising young man canvasing the boonies stopped at my door yesterday and asked if I would be interested in solar, emphazing c the power outage, lol.

WOULDN’T IT BE SIMPLER FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO DISSOLVE THE PEOPLE AND ELECT ANOTHER? Labour Votes To Dissolve Britain.
Think of it! Foreigners living in Britain would have the right to vote for members of Parliament, which is to say, for who governs Great Britain. And Labour will open the borders. The British people will lose sovereignty in their own country.
This is not a right-wing conspiracy theory. This is now the official policy of the Labour Party.
Labour voted to dissolve Britain quite some time ago — as the London Telegraph reported in 2009, “Labour wanted mass immigration to make UK more multicultural, says former adviser. Labour threw open Britain’s borders to mass immigration to help socially engineer a ‘truly multicultural’ country, a former Government adviser has revealed.
Now one has to wonder about the lefts commitment to multi anything……..If there were waves of conservative or libertarian inclined hordes at the border you could just bet that not only would the progressive left be calling for a wall but that wall would have guard towers every 1/4 mile and be equipped with belt fed .50 cal machine guns!

re fish 343pm – It’s not hard to connect the dots between our Dems’ and British Labour’s ideologies. The are both anti-sovereignty (anti-Westphalian) parties intent on globalization that first requires weakening the sovereignty and independence of their respective lands. And both are well versed in letting in illegals who will militate and then vote for them. In the end the real goal is to garner, by every available means, all (or as much as possible) political power in their respective countries.

It is clear during the years of RR that to liberals everything that doesn’t work correctly or that is criticized for being formulated wrong turns out for them to be a “conspiracy”. They also assume that others who point out such things are automatically referring to some imagined conspiracy or other. Their brains cannot conceive of just plain screw-ups that result from the well-intentioned efforts of ignorant people. It’s always all a conspiracy.

The Democrats know they have no chance of winning in 2020, so now they are crying, “Impeachment!”
There are now over 150 House Democrats who back Impeachment. We CANNOT let these hateful and baseless attacks go on any longer.
These IMPEACHMENT claims have nothing to do with the President – the Democrats thrive on silencing and intimidating his supporters, like YOU. They want to take YOUR VOTE away.
We won’t stand for this any longer, and neither should YOU. Which is why President Trump is launching the Official Impeachment Defense Task Force.
This task force will be made up of only President Trump’s most LOYAL supporters, the ones committed to fighting for him, re-electing him, and taking back the House.
House Democrats are holding a meeting to discuss their Impeachment plans and the President wants us to send him a list of every Patriot who stands with him!
To make a statement: ALL DONATIONS WILL BE DOUBLE-MATCHED.
Stand With President Trump and donate to the IMPEACHMENT DEFENSE TASK FORCE NOW!

Speculation that the dems only hope is impeachment as the socialist clown car does not hold a winning candidate in the dem operatives view but, but but. Lets get ready to ruuuuummmmmmbbllllleeee! –
However, the public calls are overshadowed by reports of internal freakouts among Democrats, who believe this is a losing battle. As Breitbart News reported, several aides to top Democrats on Capitol Hill expressed hesitation and concern over the party’s decision to pull the trigger on impeachment. One senior Democrat congressional aide called the impeachment effort “a joke” and “all bullshit”:
Privately, several aides to top Democrats on Capitol Hill expressed concerns about the lack of a focus on the impeachment move; without a clear outcome in mind, Democrats fear that whatever happens will further energize Trump ahead of the 2020 election while failing to remove him.
“If you’re going to take a shot at the king, you best not miss,” one House Democrat leadership aide told Breitbart News. “And we do not have a pathway to win without 20 GOP votes in the Senate. We are nowhere near that, not even close.”
Another senior Democrat congressional aide added regarding the move to attempt to impeach Trump: “It’s a joke. It’s all bullshit.”
“Of course, I want impeachment from a moral perspective,” Pete Buttigieg’s former New Hampshire director Michael Ceraso told Politico. “But from a political perspective, I don’t want to spend a year talking about how Democrats tried to impeach him and couldn’t pull it off.”
“The Democrats become single-issue candidates, which weakens them,” Ceraso said, adding that the proceedings will only solidify Trump’s base.
“It’s a national spectacle that will make people defend the presidency or tune out, which is worse,” said Hank Sheinkopf, a longtime Democratic strategist based in New York. “The incessant banging about it doesn’t help. Stick with issues that work.”
Bob Mulholland, a Democratic National Committee member from California, put it this way: “Absent Trump being caught in a trunk with a young boy, impeachment is a political disaster for us Democrats.”
As the fallout continues, Democrats are moving the goalposts, claiming that there no longer needs to be “no quid pro quo,” as Juan Williams concluded on Fox News’s The Five on Wednesday.
Despite the public cries of victory from certain Democrat lawmakers, Republicans smell blood.
“The Democrats are fucked,” a senior Senate GOP aide told Breitbart News upon reviewing the transcript. “This is going to unite everyone except maybe Mitt, I bet even Ben Sasse comes around on this and backs the president unless there’s some bombshell with the whistleblower who didn’t even hear this call. Republican operatives I’ve talked to are giddy about this.”
Since the day President Trump was elected, congressional Democrats have been working to find any reason under the sun to impeach the president and undo the results of the last election,” Cruz stated.
Additionally, the Trump campaign and RNC’s announcement of a combined $5 million raised since Pelosi’s initial launch of the impeachment inquiry essentially confirms the Democrat insiders’ mounting fears: The American public is not on board with impeachment, and the GOP – including Trump’s base – is ready for war.

Lets take a break from the latest socialist dems games and remember we are WINNING! –
The Trump administration announced Wednesday that it had signed an agreement with Honduras that effectively prevents migrants from traveling through Central America to enter the United States.
The deal, signed on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, completes a central component of President Trump’s strategy to deter asylum-seekers from crossing into the U.S. through Mexico. A similar arrangement was signed with El Salvador last week; a more comprehensive agreement was previously sealed with Guatemala. Most families arrested or stopped at the U.S.-Mexico border are from those three countries, known as the Northern Triangle.

Been following since March. So, I figure that the Dems just had to get in front of it and pull out their usual Saul Alinsky page of their playbook of beneath contempt things they do. Slim and accuse the innocent with the very dirty deeds that they themselves have committed and are doing in the present. “It’s been declassified and it’s been released,” Stewart told anchor Laura Ingraham. “So it should be available for everyone to go and look at, and I encourage everyone to go and look at it.” Stewart added that he has viewed the complaint, and was initially “anxious” before viewing the complaint, but now is “much more confident than I was this morning that this is going to go nowhere. … there are just no surprises there.”

NO elected Proggy can now say, “well,,, I didn’t vote for impeachment” to try and save their sorry ass’s from pissed constituants.
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/09/25/the-battle-lines-are-drawn-231-house-democrats-vote-to-proceed-with-impeachment-of-donald-trump/
“In other words, in plain English, the Democrats, by shooting down McCarthy’s resolution, have now formally all gone on the record in support of Pelosi’s impeachment inquiry–and the Republicans have now all gone on the record against it. Even more plainly, this was the vote that formally opened impeachment proceedings. They are all on the record now.
No Democrat in the House of Representatives now claim it is not their intention to attempt to remove the duly elected president of the United States from office by force rather than by an election. They also cannot be ambivalent about it anymore. There is no more splitting hairs, no more supporting an “investigation” without backing impeachment, no more saying they need more facts to figure out what’s next. All the cards are on the table: Every Democrat in the House supports removing Trump from office and not waiting until November 2020 to have an election.
What’s more, in perhaps good news for Trump, he lost zero Republicans. The GOP is unified behind its president. Impeachment being partisan is an optics win for Trump, as it feeds his narrative that the Democrats are power-hungry and cannot beat him at the ballot box, so they are using extraordinary measures to attempt to seize the office by force.”

The claims in the Agenda 21 handbook printed by CABPRO. You advertised the author’s talk on A-21 so I can only assume you are on board with at least some of her claims. That’s what I mean about separating the fur balls from the vomit. A-21 claims run the gamut from reducing the earths population by X% by 2030 to the bike racks in front of the County sups office is part of a UN plot.
