Actually, it turned out that Ivanka and Jared did not violate any govt protocols with their email handling – this was confirmed with Team Nadler deciding not to waste any bandwidth on dredging that up to support his drive for impeachment.
And for those not familiar with the classified materials handling code, the President always has the final say in what is and isn’t classified, and he has the power to do that peremptorily if he so desires – no further application or approvals are needed. Now the political ramifications of presidential treatment of heretofore classified materials are another matter altogether, as you are proving.

Leana Wen: Planned Parenthood Is Trying to ‘Buy My Silence’
“Leana Wen, who was president of Planned Parenthood until the organization fired her in July, alleged the abortion provider is trying to “buy” her silence, according to a document obtained by the New York Times.
Wen, who held the position for only eight months, attempted to turn Planned Parenthood’s focus more toward becoming a “national health care organization” during her brief tenure. The move was not well-received, and Wen was soon ousted after she was deemed not “political” enough for the organization.
Now, in a 1,400-word letter addressed to Planned Parenthood’s board of directors, Wen alleges the organization is withholding her health insurance and severance package as a “ransom” until she signs a confidentiality agreement, the Times reports.
“No amount of money can ever buy my integrity and my commitment to the patients I serve,” Wen wrote.

HI Barry, Hope you and yours continue to do so great! Amazing kids!! Yes, Ed has announced he is holding his seat at his BBQ recently. I think Deborah Wilder can absolutely will bring a very strong campaign to Dist 1 with a wide base of support and having been a Mayor of an important SF suburb she has real world cred.
I have found in my experience that Supervisor Anderson is a very reasonable and rational leader who was about the issue and who has had a good understanding of the neighborhoods and the impacts on them. I look forward to his next year and a half as well as his input on the upcoming Dist 5 race. He is a good man with values and it pleasure to work with him.

If memory serves me correctly, wasn’t the ‘Put Ivanka and Jared in Jail’ e-mail scandal about Ivanka and Jared using their personal e-mail devices during the transition and briefly for a few weeks into the new Administration before they started using the .gov address? Boy, Nadler wanted their campaign e-mails, transition e-mails, phone records, and a heck of a lot more, lol. A heck of a lot more.
Equating the above with Hillary’s predetermined decision to set up a private server for the sole purpose of conducting her business for the Clinton Foundation and State Department work to shield herself from the FICA….compare that to the new Administration’s chaotic start is a whole different ball of wax. What is very clear is that Pelline and the rest of Hall’s supporters will make the District One race as nasty as possible. It is his and their MO. Whoever runs against Deborah Wilder will have their hands full. She is brilliant and will be very well-funded. Having been involved locally in politics in the past, the knock on Deborah from highly conservative (sometimes too much so) folks is that she is a moderate. In my view, she is an independent like Richard Anderson and Dan Miller and Ed Scofield who will not tow the party line but who will come to rational conclusions based upon the evidence presented. On the other hand, the current supervisor in district one is a true believer in progressive ideology with her sights on something larger than Nevada County. You can see that readily from her activities and who donates to her campaign. Of course, Deborah will run an issue based campaign but look to the supporters of Hall (like Pelline) to go low and try to make this a partisan race. It is vile, but it is also all to common place as the true believers move into our sleepy rural town and attempt to San Francisco our wonderful Nevada County. all you have to do is look around the Brunswick Basin…
