A distinction without a difference. Here is a ditty from Forbes from Election Day
“The wealthiest Commander-in-Chief in American history will be exempt from conflict of interest statutes and most prohibitions against gifts (as are all U.S. presidents and vice presidents), so nothing stops Trump from maintaining the status quo and running his business from the White House. He’ll have to file a Federal Elections Committee disclosure document annually, which lists his assets and income. Tax returns, which Trump has steadfastly refused to release, do not have to be made available to the publi”
The [point is conflicts and as you might be able to read if you were not so stupid, Trump is exempt.

What does this have anything to do with your statement “Trump placed his assets in a blind trust”?
Fact is, he didn’t. Establishing a blind trust is a very specific legal action. I’m pretty sure you have no idea what a blind trust is. Jabber talking out your blowhole again.

Trump exhaustion? Depends how one looks at it. VDH
“But these are not normal times. There is (for now) no longer a Democratic Party. Instead, it is a revolutionary Jacobin movement that believes socialism is our salvation, that identity politics is our creed, that gun confiscation is our duty, that the abrupt end of fossil fuels is coming very soon, that open borders is our new demography, and that the archetypical unmarried, childless, urban hipster is our model woke citizen.
“For more than two years, Hillary Clinton—via Fusion GPS, Perkins Coie, the DNC, and Christopher Steele—attempted to destroy the Trump campaign. Later the Justice Department, FBI, and CIA took up her cause and sought to sabotage the Trump transition and presidency, in a near coup attempt. I cannot remember a moment in U.S. history when a presidential candidate conspired with the intelligence community of the lame-duck administration of the same party to destroy a presidential rival.
“Robert Mueller forever discredited the idea of a special counsel, given his unprofessionalism, bias, and apparent incompetence that ate up 22 months of the Trump presidency. Even in the crude post-1960s, we have never seen anything like the current assassination rhetoric of Hollywood celebrities and the boasts of doing bodily harm to the president by his political opponents.
“No president—not LBJ, not JFK, not Bill Clinton—in his first term has had his prior 50 years, his family, his lifestyle, his businesses and his friends so exhaustively explored for any morsel of impeachable material.
“Is it any wonder, Trump, to his own occasional detriment, obsesses with “fake news” and believes that every minor tit requires a major Trump tat?
“So far more wearisome than Trump’s tweets are three years of unethical and likely illegal attempts to remove an elected president, to so warp our culture that 90 percent of media coverage is anti-Trump and dozens of grandees in the entertainment, sports, and media industries have so often publicly wished to assassinate, beat up, or otherwise physically injure the president of the United States.
“After all that, the strange thing is not that Trump can be occasionally wearisome, but that he is even still breathing.”

re BillT’s 942am – What continues to amaze and frustrate me is that there is no outcry against leftwing prosecutors who accept a person as guilty with only unsupported allegations as ‘evidence’. What law school did they graduate from, and why are they not pulled from office for obvious malfeasance as officers of the court? The same goes, of course, for rightwing prosecutors that are equally prominent and candidates for high office.

In Surprise 5-4 Ruling, Supreme Court Holds That Second Amendment Requires Mandatory Gun Ownership
“Writing for the majority, Chief Justice John Roberts outlined the surprising thought process behind this startling sledgehammer of jurisprudence.
“The Second Amendment,” said Roberts, “says that ‘a well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.’ Well, I think it’s pretty clearly implied here that, if Obamacare can force you to buy insurance, then militia membership – which is, Constitutionally, ‘necessary’ – can force you to buy a gun. It’s like getting vaccine inoculations: if everyone is immunized, then everyone is safe. But the more people don’t get shots, the more likely an outbreak of deadly disease. In the case of guns, that disease is criminals. If everyone has a gun, criminals get eradicated like smallpox. Also, if everyone is exercising their right, then by definition, no one’s right is being infringed. This is the only way to truly guarantee this particular constitutional protection for every citizen.”
“Liberal Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg dissented, pointing out that Roberts’ faulty reasoning in the Obamacare case – even though she agreed with it at the time for political reasons – could not be used to do things to REDUCE the power and control of the federal government before mumbling something about “my pancreas” and falling asleep.“

The evidence about Hillary’s crimes is abundant for an indictment (admitted unlawful sharing and exposing classified information, and operating an illegal email server for government business for openers). The decision not to indict her is political and not legal. Many people have been indicted, convicted, and are serving time for doing less. And none of this means that I want her locked up without due process. It’s the due process that has been omitted through political corruption. All this has been discussed ad nauseum in these pages, debated in the national media, and published, with citations, in books.

The ex-Marine and “avid sportsman, hunter and skeet shooter” never used his invention for sport. He also never kept it around the house for personal defense. In fact, he never even owned one.
I’m sure he never did. It was a more genteel time for firearms owners and their preferences when Stoner was still alive.
But remember…..the AR15 never really caught fire with the public until Handgun Control Incorporated put the full court press on handguns and their owners. Suddenly it was….ironically…… less hassle to own an AR or AK than a pistol. Much like Trump in the White House progressives have no one to blame but themselves regarding these rifles. Another ruling against compelled speech. Arizona case. Good reasoning behind decision. Short article.
“Ultimately, the City’s analysis is based on the flawed assumption that Plaintiffs’ custom wedding invitations are fungible products, like a hamburger or a pair of shoes. They are not. Plaintiffs do not sell “identical” invitations to anyone; every custom invitation is different and unique. For each invitation, Duka and Koski create different celebratory messages, paintings and drawings; they also personally write, in calligraphy or custom hand-lettering, the names of the specific bride and groom who are getting married. In short, Plaintiffs do not create the same wedding invitation for any couple, regardless of whether the wedding involves a man and a woman or a same-sex couple.
“A well-crafted court opinion is an educational document. It can and often should not only persuade the precise legal reasoning at issue but also the justifications for the legal rules it applies. The court’s words are compelling:
“Duka and Koski’s beliefs about same-sex marriage may seem old-fashioned, or even offensive to some. But the guarantees of free speech and freedom of religion are not only for those who are deemed sufficiently enlightened, advanced, or progressive. They are for everyone. After all, while our own ideas may be popular today, they may not be tomorrow.”
https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/arizona-supreme-court-upholds-free-speech-religious-freedom/
The court quoted the Supreme Court of the United State’s seminal opinion in West Virginia v. Barnette, and it’s worth quoting here as well:
“As governmental pressure toward unity becomes greater, so strife becomes more bitter as to whose unity it shall be. . . . . Ultimate futility of such attempts to compel coherence is the lesson of every such effort from the Roman drive to stamp out Christianity as a disturber of its pagan unity, the Inquisition, as a means to religious and dynastic unity, the Siberian exiles as a means to Russian unity, down to the fast failing efforts of our present totalitarian enemies. Those who begin coercive elimination of dissent soon find themselves exterminating dissenters. Compulsory unification of opinion achieves only the unanimity of the graveyard.“

“The spy thing was all Obama era.” No, it was Bush, Trump pardoned Libby.
Just last week Trump released a photo of the Iranian launch site that pissed off Intelligence to no end. Military “experts” figured it was a relatively close drone with a sensitive camera. But no, it was from a spy satellite up in space with the kind of lens that we didn’t want anyone in the world to know about and shit for brains Trump gave it to Fox news!!!
His inability to keep a secret, or even know what is a secret is has become routine. Maybe if he would sit still long enough to hear the entire briefing he’d know better. He has probably been kept in the dark more than any modern president because the military can’t trust him not to tweet the next secret.
Trump is his own advisor to most things and is too ignorant to know what questions to ask much less understand the questions. Just like Juvinall.

No, that story has been debunked. Trump was not even POTUS then. Itt was an Obama concern that the Fakenews NYT and Wa Compost tried to pin on Trump.
As far as Libby goes, he was never charged for outing the CIA desk jockey Plume. It was State that told Novak about the CIA chair warmer. Special Counsel Livingston knew that his very first week on the job, but went on a fishing expedition to get Cheney and Bush. Livingston is currently Comey’s defense lawyer….for trying to take out Trump.
It’s a rotten smelly Swamp for sure.

Damn are the trolls here are ignorant and the most vacant one is at 409. Conflating issues and being ignorant or just not willing to drop the already failed cnn narrative especially one that jeopardized a mans life by identifying him.
The President is the ultimate authority on classification and can authorize the public release just like JFK did on the soviet nukes in cuba braniac.
The conversation on removing the spy was started in 2015 by team 0 and went into action in 2016 pre Trump, facts are such a buzzkill for talking points for lefties.

However, the CIA is not the only one effectively calling CNN out on the story. A New York Times piece on the story directly contradicts CNN. The Times says that the decision was made before Trump was even in office. If true, that would be a glaring contradiction for CNN and would reinforce criticism of the network as relentlessly anti-Trump.
The Times reported that it was media coverage that led the CIA to move to extract the spy and that “media scrutiny of the agency’s sources alone was the impetus for the extraction.” The timing however is the most key element. The Times is reporting that the decision was made in 2016 — before Trump took office. The spy reportedly refused the request but was later prevailed upon to leave.
NBC reported on the identity the person living in the United States. A NBC reporter knocked on his door outside of Washington and was met by security. Given Putin’s tendency to kill dissidents and critics, the man’s life is clearly at risk.
