    RobertC 944am – Of all the contributors to this blog, I as host am among those who present nothing but concrete refutable propositions with defined terms for those with the education and reasoning tools to counter. I discuss nothing but issues with citations, which should make it easy for the thinkers among you to destroy those propositions. And yes, at the end of my dissertations I do draw conclusions about who is in error given my previous arguments. Your inability to get past the conclusions is clear indication of your bankrupt arsenal of counters, since you claim that the conclusion was the sum and substance of my arguments, which, as the record shows, clearly it was not.
    All you and yours need to do is to use MY words against me – give it a try. Thirteen years is a long time to duck the buck.

    Interesting take on eugenics. Can’t say I completely agree but thought provoking nonetheless. Mom recently died at 99. In her case, 75 would have been preferable for all concerned, and especially her.

    CNN’s 7-hour climate change town hall fell behind Fox News and MSNBC in the ratings, according to Nielsen Media Research’s findings released Thursday.
    CNN’s marathon event– which began Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. ET and ended at midnight – averaged 1.1 million viewers, while Fox News averaged 2.5 million and MSNBC averaged 1.7 million during the same time span.
    The network also failed to beat its rival networks during primetime, averaging just 1.4 million viewers. Fox News averaged 3.2 million, and MSNBC averaged 2.2 million during primetime.

    Compensation for U.S. workers rose by more than previously thought in the first half of the year, the latest sign that workers are benefitting from the tightest labor market in decades.
    Hourly compensation rose at a 4.9 percent annualized rate in the second quarter, a 1.9 percent gain after adjusting for inflation, the Labor Department said Thursday. Previously the Labor Department had reported a 1.8 percent real increase.
    Compensation for the first quarter was also revised up. Real hourly compensation rose at an annualized 8.4 percent rate in the January through March period

    And your times frames are pathetically small. You need to look at the climate going back thousands of years before you can even start to have a idea of what the climate has been doing. California has a drought and flood climate as far back as anyone can tell.
