    “Another illegal immigrant has been charged with rape in a Maryland county with an infamous, crime-ridden history as a sanctuary jurisdiction.
    A press release from the Montgomery County Police Department details that 26-year-old Kevin Mendoza was arrested and charged with first-degree rape and attempted murder earlier this week in the Washington suburb of Silver Spring.
    “Investigation by SVID [Special Victims Investigations Division] detectives has determined that the victim was carrying items from her vehicle parked in the parking lot to the apartment building when she noticed a male that appeared to be following her,” a MCPD press release explains.
    “As she unlocked the door to the building, the male suspect grabbed her from behind and threw her to the floor. The victim attempted to yell and resist but the suspect began to strangle her with his hands,” the police statement continues. “As the victim continued to attempt to escape the suspect struck her multiple times in the face and head with a closed fist. The suspect then raped the victim.”
    MCPD adds that the victim sustained “multiple injuries” during the alleged attack and was treated at a local hospital, where “doctors advised detectives that the severity of the strangulation the victim suffered could have resulted in her death.”
    ICE has confirmed to Blaze Media that Mendoza is an illegal immigrant and that the agency has issued a detainer for him.
    “On Aug. 20, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deportation officers lodged a detainer with the Montgomery County (Maryland) Detention Center, on Kevin Mendoza, a Honduran national, unlawfully present in the United States, following his arrest for rape and attempted murder,” a emailed statement from an ICE spokesperson to Blaze Media said.
    WJLA-TV reporter Kevin Lewis points out that Mendoza is at least the fourth illegal alien arrested on rape charges in the county in less than a month.
    However, contrary to some other recent rape charges against illegal immigrants, bond is not available for Mendoza at this time, according to MCPD.
    Earlier this week, Blaze Media reported on the case of Rodrigo Castro-Montejo, a Salvadoran illegal immigrant who was apprehended by immigration officials after Montgomery County ignored an ICE detainer and released him on bond despite second-degree rape charges.
    Just last week in Montgomery County, police arrested two illegal aliens from El Salvador, Mauricio Barrera-Navidad, 29, and Carlos Palacios-Amaya, 28, for raping an 11-year-old child. The investigation was reportedly triggered by a discussion the child had with a school social worker last month.
    Montgomery County was also the setting for the infamous Rockville rape case, in which a 14-year-old girl was allegedly brutally raped by two illegal immigrants in a public school bathroom. One of the accused was from Guatemala, the other from El Salvador.
    This news also follows on the heels of a report last week from North Carolina, where ICE says that Mecklenburg County — which contains the city of Charlotte — release another illegal alien accused of first-degree rape despite an ICE detainer.
    Out west last week, ICE arrested a 59-year-old Mexican national who had been convicted of “sex assault on a child” but given no jail time. The agency claims that Boulder County, Colorado, ignored its detainer requests in this case, just as they did for the same person in 2017, when he was arrested for aggravated assault.

    A federal court judge on Wednesday ruled that President Trump can immediately challenge congressional Democrats’ Emoluments Clause lawsuit against him, saying the litigation raises the “unsettled” question of whether politicians have standing to sue a sitting president for running international businesses.
    The development was a major victory for Trump, who has railed against what he has called politically motivated invocations of the Emoluments Clause.
    Sullivan’s ruling came a month after another federal judge in frank terms dismissed a lawsuit by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) against key members of the Trump campaign and WikiLeaks over hacked DNC documents, saying they “did not participate in any wrongdoing in obtaining the materials in the first place” and therefore bore no legal liability for disseminating the information.

    Interesting Michigan gun case……ok to brandish a weapon
    “Crucially, this legal doctrine does not create a license to kill. Nondeadly force becomes deadly force the very instant a person pulls the trigger, and when a person pulls the trigger they have to prove the threat of imminent death or great bodily harm. The doctrine does — as a practical matter — allow citizens to use the threat of decisive force to deter unlawful violence.
    A contrary rule places civilians in an untenable position. They could not even pull their weapon until the threat of death is actively upon them. They would be forced to maintain maximum vulnerability right up until the point of maximum danger — a legal position that would be most threatening to people of slight physical stature who lack alternative effective means of self-defense.
    Now, some important caveats. This is a Michigan case. It is not setting rules for other jurisdictions. Don’t rely on Michigan law to determine your actions in, say, Ohio. Moreover, even under legal standards similar to Michigan’s it’s still a grave decision to pull a weapon from a holster or from the glove compartment of your car. It’s legally consequential and extremely dangerous. But the Michigan case outlines what should be the proper legal standard. The sight of a gun has the power to deter violence, and banning its use outside of the threat of imminent death would — perversely enough — allow too many confrontations to escalate.

    LONDON (Reuters) – British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Conservative Party has opened up a 14 percentage point lead over the opposition Labour Party as Johnson’s tougher stance on Brexit wins back supporters, according to a poll published on Wednesday.
    Johnson, a Brexiteer who won the premiership a month ago, has vowed to lead the United Kingdom out of the European Union on Oct. 31 with or without a deal. His predecessor, Theresa May, delayed Brexit after failing to ratify a divorce deal.
    With talk of an election swirling in London, an online Kantar poll showed 42% of voters would now vote for the Conservatives, up from 25% in May, and 28% for Labour, down from 34% in May, when the last comparable poll was taken.

In a stroke of genius, Donald J Trump exposed and played off the Lefties’ big anti-Semitism problem, accurately painting with a broad brush the Democrat Party as a bunch of anti-Israel, anti-Jew, anti-American, anti-religion, ain’t-Western Civilization, anti-Judeo-Christian tradition, extremist bitter haters out of the mainstream of our pro-democracy American values.
    And the portrait Trump painted used the two Muslim members of Congress representing the entire Left who are joined at the hip with pro-Nazi, pro The Nation of Islam, anti-Jew, anti-Christian anti-American anti liberty extremists and terrorists.
    Genius, pure genius. Others have been sounding the warning that the Left has a big anti-Semitic problem. It began more noticeable when the Women’s March purged its top ranks of all Jewish women (and white women) and continued more recently when Jewish LBGTQs were not allowed to have the Star of David on their Gay Pride flags. Might offend Muslims. Throw the dreaded Jews under the bus along with so much more. Now it’s hard to think of the Democrat Party without images of Tlaib and Ilhan floating in one’s head. The poster boys of the Left. Haters.
    And it was all possible because of the rage against and hatred of Trump. Hate blinds a person, man does it ever. In the meantime, Donald J. Trump has done more to advance the cause of Israel than all Jewish organizations in the US and abroad combined. Amazing.

    President Trump, Cuomo theorizes, doesn’t care enough about his job. How does Cuomo know this? Because Trump’s not physically aging in a way that is noticeable enough to indicate that the pressures of the presidency are wearing on him.
