[The Secure Act going through Congress will do a significant modification of how you can and must dispose your retirement accounts, and it will also open the door for the gummint to come in and tax a portion of it.  And we know what will happen to the size of that 'portion' as time passes.  All in favor, say Aye.  gjr]

Another club wrested from the chi coms tool box –
The order came as part of a letter to Congressional committee leaders, as required under the Defense Production Act (DPA), a 1950s-era U.S. law that gives the president and Pentagon wide berth to procure equipment necessary for the national defense.
Trump ordered the Department of Defense to develop and purchase equipment to boost output of the magnets for use by the U.S. military.
The Pentagon has already asked miners to describe plans to develop U.S. rare earths mines and processing facilities by the end of July.

President Trump is winning “powerful rhetorical ground” in the immigration debate against 2020 Democrats, a left-wing think tank admits.
The Center for American Progress, a think tank that oftentimes drives the Democrat Party’s left-wing agenda, released a report on Monday describing how Democrats are losing to Trump when it comes to the national immigration issue and the illegality of large-scale border crossings.
Tom Jawetz, the vice president for immigration policy at the Center for American Progress, writes that Democrats’ embrace of describing the United States as a “nation of immigrants” versus a “nation of laws” will cost them votes in elections and requests that they stop accepting this “false dichotomy.”

Full blown redistribution double down by the socialists, clown car bobble heads affirmative chorus to follow soon –
Tlaib introduced her anti-poverty legislation – the Building Our Opportunities to Survive and Thrive (BOOST) Act – last month and spoke about it at the NAACP convention over the weekend. The proposal offers a guaranteed income – up to $6,000 per year – to families and individuals under certain financial thresholds via a “refundable tax credit that can be paid monthly.”
The Michigan lawmaker’s BOOST Act serves as her response to what she calls the “GOP Tax Scam,” despite the fact that two-thirds of Americans will pay less in taxes in 2018, thanks to the tax cuts.

    What happened George?
Trumps new name Deficit Don. What happened to his promise of a balanced budget and paying down our national debt? He is indeed the Liar in Chief.
Also no health care plan as promised.
“Candidate Trump bragged that he would pay off the entire federal debt in eight years, but President Trump is governing as if deficits don’t matter.
In fact, Trump is approaching the level of red ink from President Barack Obama’s first term, when Obama racked up trillion-dollar deficits four years in a row. Trump is on pace to do the same, starting with this year’s yawning deficit of more than $1 trillion, according to budget estimates.
But there are huge differences: Trump has a growing economy with historically low unemployment and a soaring stock market, while Obama was battling a brutal downturn in the economy during the worst recession in 80 years, making it much harder to curb federal spending.”

Wait just a second. You had groups of agitators sent in from every state in the Union? All 50 of them? (Almost said “all 57 states.”) . Let’s talk about this, shall we?
“In a recent radio interview with Breitbart, senior editor for The Federalist — Mollie Hemingway — put Democrat senators on blast for “willfully abandoning” Senate procedures to attack Kavanaugh. She singled out Senator Kamala Harris and Senator Corey Booker, saying they unfairly lobbed unsubstantiated accusations at the now Supreme Court justice and were never penalized for it.
“Hemingway said not punishing politicians for slander during the confirmation hearing has allowed lasting damage to be done to Kavanaugh’s reputation:
“Damaging someone’s reputation is a real harm. We think of crime as being about actual acts of physical violence, but damage to a reputation causes real harm and it needs to be taken seriously, so that these things don’t happen again. Part of it is just about people being aware of what the left does with confirmation battles, but there also needs to be accountability.”
“In a separate interview, her counterpart and chief counsel of the Judicial Crisis Network — Carrie Sevarino — doubled down on that stance. She said Democrats willingly peddled misinformation and false allegations to obstruct Kavanaugh’s confirmation.”
    https://www.oann.com/conservative-columnists-call-for-democrat-accountability-regarding-kavanaugh-antics/
Well, good luck trying to get the factual truth out. Waste of time. First, they all believed her anyway, and second, they don’t care. Waste of time. They don’t give a lick about the search for truth. TpThey have their own truth and Trump is destroying faith in our institutions! A threat to our Deep State Democracy!!!
For instance, Weissman comes up with a “new legal theory” on the Arthur Anderson case and mixed with some devious tactics like withholding exculpatory evidence from the defense and coercing witnesses, and lying…..85,000 people are out of a job, some Enron execs got put in jail, and the United States Supreme Court overrode all the convictions….by a 9-0 vote and sanctioned Justice. (30 day hands slap, no penalty). No matter. Mueller put Weismann in as the dirty trick pit bull lead of his team. See, nobody cares. Ok, maybe Roger Stone cares. It was a rude awakening at 4:30 am with the press and all those swat personal waking up the whole neighborhood and all that firepower to arrest ole flamboyant Roger in his night robe. They were ready to blow the front door off it’s hinges. Had the charges in hand. Good thing Roger heard them pounding at that time of the night.
Oh, BTW, Weismann chickened out…er…..declined to testify behind closed doors. Odd. He wrote a lot of the Mueller Report and came up with a “new legal theory” of obstruction of justice that has been dismissed out of hand by the Office of Legal Affairs, DOJ and legal criminal federal law expert Attorney General Barr, as well as Trump hater Rod Roseinstein.
Countdown to the Circus. The Greatest Show on Earth. Promote it like Reality TV. Ms. Cook will swallow it hook, line, and sinker….along with a bunch of wingnuts.

Does anyone think this bullshit all over the world is a coincidence? –
The warplane was one of three Russian aircraft to enter the Korea Air Defense Identification Zone (KADIZ) early on Tuesday. Two Chinese military aircraft also entered the KADIZ, the defense ministry said in a statement.
There was no immediate public comment from Russian or Chinese officials.

The South Korean government would lodge official complaints about the violations with China and Russia, the defense ministry in Seoul said.

According to the South Korean military, the Russian aircraft then violated South Korean airspace over Dokdo – an island that is occupied by South Korea and also claimed by Japan, which calls it Takeshima – just after 9 a.m. (midnight GMT Monday).
“The South Korean military took tactical action including dropping flares and firing a warning shot,” the defense ministry statement said.
The Russian aircraft left South Korean airspace but then entered it again about 20 minutes later, prompting the South Koreans to fire another warning shot.
The ministry said South Korean warplanes “conducted a normal response” to the incursion, without giving further details.

Punchy’s numbers are way off. A trillion dollar over budget? Try in just 8 months. In a couple of years just the interest on the debt will be as much as funding the entire sinking huge SS disability health costs. Kinda hard to get anything passed with the House owning the appropriations and so into resistance. It’s their special powers. When the whole thang implodes, you can blame Trump….and Mitch….and the whole lot of them. Until then, no cuts! NPR full funding! Party time. Medicaid for illegals and a whole new New Deal, but greener.

“Mayer is not the only person in this story showing off their hypocrisy. Franken is now concerned with due process. Mayer writes that Franken supports the #MeToo movement, but after being targeted, now spends his time “thinking about such matters as due process, proportionality of punishment, and the consequences of Internet-fuelled [sic] outrage.”
“After Education Secretary Betsy DeVos announced she would be reversing Obama-era guidelines designed to punish any male student accused of sexual misconduct, regardless of evidence and without due process, Franken called the move a threat to “students’ civil rights.”

The Libertarian Party is indeed a party of principles and a viable alternative, especially in California and even for Trump haters, as there’s virtually no chance of even one Elector for Trump being selected in the former Golden State.

Progressives confident that Trump is now toast…..very confident. Everyone they know totally believes so.
“On several polarizing issues, Democrats are refusing to offer the reassurances to moderate opinion that they once did. They’re not saying: We will secure the border and insist on an orderly asylum process, but do it in a humane way; we will protect the right to abortion while working to make it less common; we will protect gun rights while setting sensible limits on them. The old rhetorical guardrails — trust us, there’s a hard stop on how far left we’ll go — are gone.”
“Many leftists acknowledge that Democrats are less interested than they used to be in trimming their sails to appeal to moderates. Such trimming is no longer necessary, as they see it, because the changing demographics of the country give them a built-in advantage. Almost everyone I encountered at Netroots Nation was convinced that President Trump would lose in 2020. Earlier today, Roland Martin, an African-American journalist, told ABC’s This Week, “America is changing. By 2043, we’ll be a nation [that’s] majority people of color, and that’s — that is the game here — that’s what folks don’t want to understand what’s happening in this country.”
“Netroots Nation convinced me that progressive activists are self-confident, optimistic about the chances for a progressive triumph, and assured that a Trump victory was a freakish “black swan” event. But they are also deaf to any suggestion that their PC excesses had anything to do with Trump’s being in the White House. That is apt to be the progressive blind spot going into the 2020 election.”

The nighthawks are back in business bombing isis!
After at least one F-117 had been spotted flying in Nevada and Eastern California last week, Scramble Magazine is reporting that “Back in 2017, and not published by any other source so far, Scramble received very reliable information that at least four F-117s were deployed to the Middle East as an operational need emerged for the USAF to resurrect the stealth F-117 for special purposes. One of the deployed aircraft was involved in an in-flight emergency and landed far away from its temporary home base that was likely located in Saudi Arabia, the UAE or Qatar.
“During this extremely covert deployment the four Nighthawks flew missions over Syria and Iraq with Small Diameter Bombs (SDBs).

Promise kept. Not kill two regs for every new one, but 13-1. That’s overkill I can live with.
“It was an odd, geeky campaign promise for a populist presidential candidate to make. But when Donald Trump in 2016 pledged to kill two Obama-era regulations for every new one, crowds went wild.
“Those cheers stuck with him when he moved into the White House, and he put his promise into an executive order. And now as he opens his reelection campaign, Russ Vought, acting budget office director, has delivered the results sure to win even more rally cheers.
“We’ve hit 13 to 1,” he told a Heritage Foundation conference on federalism. And cutting so many regulations, he added, has saved taxpayers $33 billion.”

Update on the wax philosophical story from yesterday, aka, forcing women touch a man’s penis under the force of law.
“Just last week, Twitter permanently banned free speech activist Lindsay Shepherd after she defended herself against Yaniv’s bullying. Yaniv sexually degraded Shepherd, saying, “At least my p*y is tight not loose after pushing out a 10 pound baby.” When Shepherd responded — tamely, in comparison — Yaniv took his provocations to the next level, making fun of her septate uterus, a medical condition that can cause miscarriages among other things. “I heard Donald Trump is building a wall inside your uterus aka your ‘reproductive abnormality,” Yaniv taunted. When Shepherd had finally had enough and called him an “ugly fat man” (a perfectly accurate description, I might add), she was banned from the platform. Yaniv faced no penalties at all.”
    https://www.dailywire.com/news/49798/walsh-twitter-enabling-predator-and-silencing-matt-walsh?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=benshapiro
Even the National Review weights in:
“But who said this was about waxing? This is about sex, surely. Yaniv is male — a male who has not made the surgical commitment necessary to pass as a female. On top of that, in the past year, Yaniv has presented unambiguously as a male on a number of sites including Google, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube. And on top of that, Yaniv is a male who is sexually attracted to females.
“For the women who declined to wax Yaniv’s private parts, however, the matter was simpler still. Yaniv has male genitalia. Some preferred not to touch these for religious reasons. Others, such as business owner Marcia Da Silva, didn’t feel comfortable or qualified. In the hearing, Da Silva’s lawyer, Jay Cameron, further explained that forcing his client to touch Yaniv’s scrotum would effectively be coercing “intimate services.”
“The damages to these women have been considerable, including stress and depression; at least one woman was forced to close her business. Another, a single mother who worked out of her home, paid Yaniv $2,500 to withdraw the complaint so that she could escape the expense of further litigation. Some of the women Yaniv targeted were immigrants. And as if there weren’t enough reasons to be suspicious of Yaniv, some of his comments on social media have seemed strikingly xenophobic. On Facebook, as “Jonathan,” Yaniv posted:
‘We have a lot of immigrants here who gawk, judge and aren’t the cleanest of people, they’re also verbally and physically abusive, that’s one reason I joined a girl’s gym, cause I DON’T want issues with these people . . . They lie about sh[
], they’ll do anything to support their own kind and make things miserable for everyone else.’
“It gets worse still. Yaniv is also “seeking permission” from a Canadian local council “to hold three ‘topless’ swims for people ages 12 and up, and parents would be barred from attending,”the Daily Caller reports. This swim would be for children who identify as LGBTQ2S+ and would include topless girls.
“So there we have it. An obviously predatory male is attempting to use the force of law to coerce females to touch his private parts and — unbelievably — a Canadian human-rights tribunal is entertaining this demand. Yaniv has so perfectly exposed the absurdity of gender policies that it would scarcely be surprising if he turned out to be a troll.”

Saw this and though of you. Global Warming for dummies. Svensmark hypothesis explained.
“Since about 2007, there has been a notable counter-theory to the hypothesis of human-caused global warming. The counter-theory is that fluctuations in world temperatures over the past several decades have been caused more by fluctuations in the cloud cover of the earth than by increases in greenhouse gases like CO2. This counter-theory is often called the “Svensmark hypothesis,” after Danish physicist Henrik Svensmark, who proposed it.

“Which brings us to the Povrovsky and Kauppinen, et al., papers. Povrovsky did something that somebody should have long since done by now, which is to collect month-by-month satellite cloud-cover data for the earth for the period 1983-2009, and plot it on a graph, and then compare that graph to the month-by-month temperature graphs. What is the correlation of the two?”
It turns out to be exceptionally close:

The flimsy footnotes in the Mueller Report and Chess Tournament Gate.
“The more than 2,000 footnotes included in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Trump-Russia collusion allegations are also illuminating. Most of the citations are matter-of-fact support for claims made in the main text. But a close reading reveals that many of the footnotes raise more questions than they answer, especially regarding Mueller’s methods and intent. Some footnotes show that key allegations often rely on the flimsy say-so of media accounts; others show a willingness to accept the claims of anti-Trump critics at face value. Mueller and his team also used the footnotes as the place to include unsubstantiated gossip and speculation.
“Mueller has made it clear that during his scheduled testimony before Congress on Wednesday, he will not discuss his investigation beyond the “four corners” of his official report. But those four corners encompass not only the main text, but thousands of footnotes.”

You’re a funny guy… if only you examined Obama’s words so carefully.

Funny I recall a President saying to the press in some history book. Tell the SCOTUS to send their army than go enforce their decision. Maybe Gregory knows the source? Anyway, Trump is totally normal and sane. He says things for fun, for effect and for media hits. He is a showman and a builder and a politician. The man has reached the pinnacle of power on earth and all the little ankle biters say now is “Oh my he is mentally ill” No, the ankle biters are the ones mentally ill. Jealousy is a sin and the left is very sinful.

At the Turning Point Youth Conference today….
The mention of Tlaib’s name prompted roaring boos from the audience of young conservatives. Trump seemed to be referencing footage of Tlaib being forcibly removed from an August 2016 Trump campaign event in Detroit while shouting, “You guys are crazy!” Video of the incident, which took place before Tlaib was elected and involved multiple protesters, resurfaced last weekend. Trump said Tlaib was “screaming like a total lunatic.”
“This is not a sane person, folks, and this is what we’re up against,” Trump said.
    ———-
    Meanwhile…..
’In a tweet unearthed by former Democratic New York State Assemblyman Dov Hikind, Tlaib tweeted the following about Trump in 2015: “Deport this a–hole!”

Trump’s evil plan is working. Up 4% since last month.
“27 percent of Americans said they saw immigration as the “most important problem” facing the country in the latest Gallup poll, up four points from the previous month’s poll.”

Could the pony tail of ignorance tell us what exactly is a “Congressional veto?”.
    What a maroon!
