[I've been mulling over the utility of these sandboxes again.  More and more they have become the repository of tripe, with interesting threads and tidbits thrown in by readers who occasionally demonstrate that their abundant acumen lies mostly fallow.  I wouldn't mind it if some of the other posted topics that interest me would get more discussion, but too many of them go over with the existing cohort of commenters like a fart in church.  Many of the interesting emails on my topics come from readers who apparently don't want to join into the online fray.  So I keep asking myself, why do I host these sandboxes of scurrilous shit-flinging.  No good answers have risen to the surface.  Thoughts?  gjr]

Well, Nancy did say Ilhan Omar’s words a have different meaning than what normal English speaking folks with two brain cells mean, so it comes as no surprise that Nancy says AOC got one word wrong and the Republican’s pounce. Ok Nancy, which word was that? Was she talking about concentrated orange juice? Was it Never Forget? Opps, that’s two words. According to the Leftinistas, the concentration camp definition would be county jail or the drunk tank. Or, Mayberry F.F.D. jail with Barney Fife shaking the keys.
“There is a very clear academic consensus on what constitutes a concentration camp and that is the mass detention of a community of people without a trial or due process.”
    Hmmm. Ok, AOC.
Not a thrilling video, but Newt in his history professor mannerism nails it. The Left lie. “A pure falsehood is better than an unpure truth.”

You’d better start thinking about all the fun Republicans there are right now.
ex-sheriff Arpaio – hey, how about your personal fav LaMalfa?
Face it, Paul – the biggest reason you hate Trump is that he represents to you how much of a fool you’ve made of yourself around here with all of your high and mighty predictions that have blown up in your face.
You claim he’s so dangerous, but he’s been in office for years and none of the tragedies predicted came to pass.

    Good find Don.
“Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, whose agency released the intelligence assessment on Russian hacking, is on the Council’s international advisory board.
The Council is funded by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Inc., the U.S. State Department and NATO ACT.
“Another Council funder is the Ploughshares Fund, which in turn has received financing from billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Foundations.”
If you look where Mueller was working before they brought him in as Special Council, there is the Apple connection. He had no prob cracking into cell phones like Obama did. 🙂
Well, I guess we now know where those 17 agencies got their agreement from.

Those mutha mullahs broke the team 0 piggy bank and have nothing to show for it. Thanks God. –
The State official’s revelation that Iran and Hezbollah are going broke came less than two years after Forbes, in January 2018, designated Hezbollah the wealthiest terrorist group in the world with an annual income of $1.1 billion, generated primarily by “aid funding from Iran, drug manufacture, and trade.”
The narco-terrorist group Hezbollah is heavily involved in lucrative drug trade and money laundering activities across the Western Hemisphere, particularly Latin America, according to the U.S. government.
Hook told House lawmakers that Trump’s maximum pressure campaign on Tehran has forced “Hezbollah and Hamas” to enact “unprecedented austerity plans due to a lack of funding from Iran,” adding:
In March, Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, went on TV and made a public appeal for donations. Hezbollah has placed piggy banks in grocery stores and in retail outlets seeking the spare change of people.
On June 4, Breitbart News learned from the Long War Journal that Iranian-backed Shiite Houthis in Yemen — considered the poorest country in the Muslim world —recently launched a fundraising campaign for Hezbollah after the U.S. sanctions limited Tehran’s ability to continue funding the narco-terrorists.
Hook also noted that Iran has told its proxies in Iraq, which include the Baghdad-sanctioned umbrella organization known as the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), “that they need to start looking for new sources of revenue.”
“Shia militant groups in Syria have stated that Iran no longer has enough money to pay them as much as they have in the past,” Hook added.
Iran and Hezbollah have devoted a substantial amount of blood and treasure to help Russian-backed dictator Bashar al-Assad regain control of most of Syria and remain in power.
The Trump sanctions have also made it difficult for Iran to expand its military capabilities.
    Hook testified:
Beginning in 2014 when the [nuclear] deal was near completion Iran’s military budget increased every year through 2017. When we put our pressure into effect starting in 2017 to 2018 in the first year we saw a reduction in Iran’s military spending by 10 percent and in March their most recent budget has a 28 percent cut in defense spending and that includes a 17 percent cut for IRGC [Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps] funding.

I am keeping my eyes on the prize. The big fish, but it’s fun to see the dominos fall in the meantime and the small fries like McCabe and Comey fall down. Brennan is just a stepping stone.
The DOJ will be looking into “foreign intelligence services.” to get at the beginning of the Cabal’s attempted coup. Let that sink in. The beginning. The seeds. Brennan farmed it out.
Everybody talks about the Australian Ambassador to Britain, but he was not the Ambassador when the arrangements were made to have George Popindopous be in the London pub. No, he was then a member of the Australian Foreign Diplomatic Corp. Earlier, he was the point man who handled Australia’s deposit of 26 million dollars into the Clinton Foundation. See he got rewarded with an Ambassadorship. Too bad Hillary took a header, lol. Wonder if Down Under requested a refund.
And GCHQ Chief Robert Hannigan quit two days after Trump got sworn in. Odd, but that’s Britain, another story for another day.
Got my eye on Brennan for one thing only: Raw Intelligence. The intelligence came in to the CIA (Brennan) not through the “usual channels.” The not the normal way . That’s called raw intelligence. So, if the CIA Director thought the raw was any good or he could use it, he would run it through the CIA processes to get an analysis on it. But, Brennan Did Not run it through anything. He took the raw intelligence, tucked into under his jacket, and ran over and had a one on one with Senator Harry Reed….who sent it to Comey to start an investigation into Trump.
Brennan will be screaming “Traitor! Traitor!” and pointing his finger at Trump now at the top of his lungs, lol. He and Comey are on Fake News Central TV just to keep the hoax going….not the sheeple…and their own necks.
Did you hear what Andy McCabe said about Trump should be impeached the other day? Oh my. Gowdy recommended that McCabe best focus on his own legal troubles cause they are many and McCabe has his balls nailed to the Wall. Sweet. Does he get put in stocks or put on the rack?
Brennan is just a stepping stone to the West Wing. They built the Great Wall of China one stone at a time. Oh, there will be spin off side stories. Did like how Trump said last night they might find Hillary’s e-mails deep in the State Department. Funny guy. I think he was serious. Oh my.

Editorial from the Conservative Wall Street Journal:
In a blistering editorial, the Wall Street Journal is asking President Donald Trump what the point of a second term is since he hasn’t done anything in his first term. “The most striking fact of his speech was how backward looking it was,” the editorial board said. “Every incumbent needs to remind voters of his record, Mr. Trump more than most because the media are so hostile.”
Yet, Trump is asking for four more years, the Journal questioned.
“Yet, Mr. Trump is asking for four more years, and his preoccupation with vindicating 2016 won’t resonate much beyond his core supporters,” the editorial said. Yet, according to analysts, that’s what they’re hoping to do for 2020, expand the Trump base.

Would you consider it obstruction if Trump “dandled” a pardon to temper Maniforts testimony? Remember he did pull out of an agreement to co-operate with Mueller.
Mueller left it up to the House to further investigate and consider impeachment. He clearly stated that the Justice Department and that includes the AG do not have the ability in indict a president so there is no way they have that ability under his interpretation. It’s been covered so thoroughly I don’t feel the need to provide a link.

Black Rose claims to believe in something called libertarian socialism. They attempt to resolve this oxymoron on their About page:
    About Us
Black Rose Anarchist Federation / Federación Anarquista Rosa Negra (BRRN) is a political organization with locals in over a dozen cities sharing a common set of politics and creating a shared strategic vision of how to build “popular power” in workplaces, neighborhoods, schools and all sectors of society towards the goal of libertarian socialism. Our organizing work is centered on building mass movements such as tenant unions, neighborhood assemblies, workplace campaigns, student unions, prisoner organizing, and in defense of communities resisting criminalization and deportations.

“The Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 budget deficit totaled $587 billion, according to the final data from the Treasury Department. Although this is nearly 60 percent below the 2009 peak, it is 34 percent larger than last year’s $438 billion level. While this year’s deficit is not the main cause for concern about our fiscal path, it is a precursor to projected deficit increases as the debt continues on its unsustainable course…….”

At least Trump is trying to make it easier to fire personnel in the grossly overweight federal bureaucracy. Cut them off. We don’t need to be like our failing schools where there are too many administrators to student ratio.
We will save a few pennies when Congress acts to rescind the pensions of all those caught in the failed Coup. Every penny helps. A penny saved is a penny earned. That will free up more money to give to our farmers.
The good news is Trump is trying to ax The Office of Personnel or some dead weight
like that to save 240 million. As promised, he will try to ax all funding for NPR. That is one colossal waste. The GV airport should get fully funded. Priorities…fires and all.

“Libertarianism can be a term for a form of left-wing politics. Such left-libertarian ideologies seek to abolish capitalism and private ownership of the means of production, or else to restrict their purview or effects, in favor of common or cooperative ownership and management, viewing private property as a barrier to freedom and liberty.[6][7][8][9] Left libertarian ideologies include—but are not limited to—anarcho-communism, anarcho-syndicalism, mutualism and egoism, alongside many other anti-paternalist, New Left schools of thought centered around economic egalitarianism. Modern right-libertarian ideologies, such as minarchism and anarcho-capitalism, co-opted the term in the mid-20th century to instead advocate laissez-faire capitalism and strong private property rights such as in land, infrastructure and natural resources”

Atheists lose in a precedent setting case, praise the Lord –
WASHINGTON (AP) — A World War I memorial in the shape of a 40-foot-tall cross can continue to stand on public land in Maryland, the Supreme Court ruled Thursday in an important decision about the use of religious symbols in American life.
The justices, ruling 7-2 in favor of the cross’ backers, said preserving a long-standing religious monument is very different from allowing the building of a new one. The court concluded that the nearly 100-year-old memorial’s presence on a grassy highway median doesn’t violate the First Amendment’s establishment clause, which prohibits the government from favoring one religion over others.

Maybe Eric Swalwell (D-CA) is the dumbest person in Congress. Strike that. Others just came to mind. Ok, Eric is in the Top 20, ahead of the guy who feared Guam would tip over due to an expansion of a military base.
    Daily Quotes
For the record: “Today’s woke culture demands not just tolerance but affirmation.” —Kaylee McGhee
Alpha Jackass: “Think about Hitler. If you could look back in history, would you say, ‘Well, I’m so glad that that person was allowed a platform so that they could spread their hate, and propaganda, and lies’?” —CNN’s Don Lemon drawing a parallel between Trump and the Nazi leader
“Free stuff”! “I think that everyone’s entitled to have total health care. And what I would do is make sure that every single person … in the United States has access to Medicaid right off the bat.” —Joe Biden
Come again? “I’m going to fire Jared Kushner on Day One, because he has no business being on the job of seeking a two-state solution or finding peace in the Middle East.” —Rep. Eric Swalwell (“That would suggest Kushner would have remained in the White House under a new administration.” —The Washington Free Beacon)
Projection: “While the Republicans have no interest in holding the president accountable for his words, they will misrepresent anything that you say just — if you have one word in a sentence they can exploit.” —Nancy Pelosi, sort of defending Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for saying the U.S. is running “concentration camps” on the border
Braying Jenny: “The President’s new threat of a mass deportation dragnet is an act of utter malice and bigotry, designed solely to inject fear in our communities.” —Nancy Pelosi
This just in: “I don’t think reparations for something that happened 150 years — for whom none of us currently living are responsible — is a good idea.” —Mitch McConnell
Reparations party: “I used to be a Democrat until I did my history and found out the misery that that party brought to my race. I do believe in restitution. Let’s point to the party that was part of slavery, KKK, Jim Crow, that has killed over 40% of our black babies — 20 million of them. … How about the Democratic Party pay for all the misery brought to my race.” —former NFL player Burgess Owens in a congressional hearing on reparations
Food for thought: “I think the conversation about reparations is really a conversation about affirmative action. As race based affirmative action falls out of legal favor, the saber rattling about reparations heats up. It’s all pandering and grifting to voters that won’t actually happen.” —Erick Erickson
And last… “On second thought I do favor reparations. If your ancestors were persecuted, you should get paid. If your ancestors persecuted others, you should pay. Seeing as how almost everyone belongs to both groups, we should all give each other 100 dollars. Even trade. Accounts settled.” —Matt Walsh

    LIB ECO stupidity.
    https://dailycaller.com/2019/06/20/new-york-climate-change-bill/
“Experts have also question whether New York’s emission-cutting bill is even possible with current technology. Manhattan Institute adjunct fellow Jonathan Lesser called the bill’s mandates “physically impossible.”
“Even if you put wind turbines on every square mile of land in the state, you would not come close to meeting the state’s existing demand for electricity,” Lesser said in an emailed statement. “And you would need to cover most of the state with solar panels.”
“Nothing New York does on its own will have any measurable impact on world climate,” Lesser said. “Nor, if this bill is signed into law, will developing nations suddenly say ‘Gee, New York passed a climate law. Let’s wreck our economies, too, to save the planet.’” ”
And the same goes for Ireland!!
    http://www.irishtimes.com/news/politics/ambitious-plan-to-cut-emissions-and-make-ireland-carbon-neutral-by-2050-1.3928776

The Government has outlined a highly ambitious plan to cut Irish carbon emissions on a sustained basis up to 2030, which will be backed by annual increases in carbon tax.
The plan includes major policy shifts to enable a rapid decarbonisation of the State within 12 years, including targets for putting 1 million electric vehicles on Irish roads; retrofitting of 500,000 homes and achieving 70 per cent renewable energy in power generation.
The Climate Action Plan to Tackle Climate Breakdown was launched yesterday by Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Minster for Climate Action Richard Bruton at an event at Grangegorman in Dublin attended by most of the Cabinet.”
