These leftwingers seldom countered the message, and always condemned the messengers. And this absence also appears to have reduced the zeal of our commenting capitalists who usually mass to defend open markets, liberty, and smaller government. My friend Mac and his gal Susie went to the Moscone Center incognito last weekend. She wore a “walk-away” T-shirt. They watched the circus close up. They were there when the maggot-infested guy ripped the microphone from Kameltoes. They thought it was an act. Anyway she posted some of her phone videos online and it was amazing what a bunch of morons attended that convention.

And when Biden made that false claim that he had marched in the Civil Rights Movement when in fact he had not done any such marching, his aides cringed, per the Times’ Flegenheimer.
“More than once, advisers had gently reminded Mr. Biden of the problem with this formulation: He had not actually marched during the civil rights movement,” Flegenheimer wrote. “And more than once, Mr. Biden assured them he understood — and kept telling the story anyway.”
A few months later, in September 1987, Flegenheimer writes that Biden’s lies and “recklessness as a candidate” had finally “caught up with him.”
“He was accused of plagiarizing in campaign speeches,” Flegenheimer wrote. “He had inflated his academic record. Reporters began calling out his exaggerated youth activism.”

* Why, exactly, are these “Sacred Conversations”? I think because endlessly beating the rest of us over the head with race is sacred to the Left.
* Why is the City of Minneapolis doing this? “Come take part in the conversation to have a better understanding of our role as City staff.” But what does a “sacred conversation” about 400 years of racial experience have to do with the job responsibilities of city staffers? It is hard to imagine how such conversations could be helpful.
* This is awfully lame: “Each session will address the theme for this work remembering who we are (May), recovering our narratives of liberation and oppression (June), and re-imagining a future without harm.” This is moronic liberal mush, obviously, but I especially the enjoy the concept of “re-imagining a future without harm.” Does that mean we can forget about global warming? Sadly, I expect not.
* Then we get to the segregated meetings, with “Black Bodied Staff” attending one set, and “White Bodied Staff” another. You might be tempted to think this is a joke, but it isn’t. Also: we have quite a few Asians and Hispanics in Minneapolis. Where do they fit? Nowhere, I guess. Asians in particular are best forgotten as they never seem to advance the narrative. But here is a serious question: if the purpose of these sessions really is to create “a better understanding of our role as City staff,” what possible excuse can there be for racial segregation? Do black City employees have different jobs or job duties from white employees? Are they expected to discharge their job duties differently in some way? Is there any excuse for this segregation other than naked racism on the part of those who planned these “sacred conversations”?

WASHINGTON — Following a report by the Daily Caller that the Biden campaign website appeared to have plagiarized passages in its newly released climate policy proposal from advocacy groups, the U.S. government, and a river conservation nonprofit, Joe Biden’s campaign website has added attribution for several statements relating to climate change.
On Tuesday morning, the Biden campaign released an ambitious 22-page climate plan that pledged to go “beyond the Obama-Biden Administration platform” on climate.
“As President, I will lead America — and the world — not only to confront the crisis in front of us — but to seize the opportunity it presents,” said Biden in a video released along with the plan.
After the release of the climate plan, the campaign was hit with allegations that it had plagiarized some of the talking points in a 22-page document. And late Tuesday afternoon, the campaign sought to clear up the matter, issuing a statement that said several citations in its plan “were inadvertently left out of the final version.”
Josh Nelson, Vice President of CREDO, a liberal advocacy group, tweeted Tuesday morning that Biden’s climate plan looked “remarkably similar to items” published by two other climate advocacy groups, the Blue Green Alliance and the Carbon Capture Coalition.

Democratic donor Spielberg is already producing films with Hillary Clinton: Last year, his company Amblin TV optioned the rights to Elaine Weiss’ “The Woman’s Hour: The Great Fight To Win the Vote,” with the former secretary of state as executive producer.
In May, it was reported that Hillary and daughter Chelsea Clinton will form a film and TV company for women-centric fare.
Obama has said his films will touch on “issues of race and class, democracy and civil rights and much more.” Reps for Spielberg and Obama did not get back to us about the powwow. The timing for a matchup would be right because Spielberg was in a reported feud with Netflix over Oscar eligibility rules but recently buried the hatchet with Netflix exec Ted Sarandos, Page Six reported.

Sounds like a Nero moment –
