I can’t tell you why, but I have never been partial to Ore-gun. Lived there once, many moons ago and maybe it was me, but something just didn’t feel right. Was up there again a year or so ago, and again, something just did not feel right. Of course I still get e-mails from folks in different parts begging me to tell folks here “Do Not Move There, Please.” Same old story. Everywhere Californians move, they screw up the place, big time. So, for my friends, please do not move there. There is not in. CA.
Got my first e-mail from Texas. Buddy looked around during the Great Recession and saw that half of all new jobs created were in Texas in 2008 or 2009. He loves it. Even bought a small ranch and some cows just for fun. But now, it’s being ruint.. Too many Californians and New Yorkers moving there. Screwing up a good thang. New Yorkers and Californians try to make the place like the places they fled from. Always the case.
Phoenix is the fastest growing city in the US right now. When asked about CA, I always say the same thing: 11%. of the nation’s population with 1/3 of the nation’s welfare recipients—it’s not a crime to knowingly give someone HIV, but you can go to jail for using a straw. Says it all.
