[Back from travel. I hope that some of our readers have been following the trail and travail of foreign correspondent and journalist Lara Logan, recently of '60 Minutes' fame. She is causing quite a consternation in the lamestream media who have targeted her for destruction since she has blown the whistle on the whole progressives' propaganda machine. Her interview on tonight's Mark Levin show was superb. gjr]

Paul, the number on his inauguration day is immaterial. It doesn’t matter. Most every President starts his term with the hopes of the nation that they’ll be the person needed in the orifice.
This President, more than any other in my memory, was hit from before the start of his term with wave upon wave of false news stories designed to cripple his effectiveness.
So Paul, you’ve pulled a technique right out of the old book from the 1940’s: How to Lie With Statistics. You’re being laughed at.

I looks like only a retired Pope can tell the whole truth of the problems origin –
It’s written with his signature precision and clarity of insight and offers a piercing account of the origins of the crisis and a vision of the way forward.
The church’s still-radiating crisis, Benedict suggests, was a product of the moral laxity that swept the West, and not just the church, in the 1960s. The young rebels of 1968, Benedict writes, fought for “all-out sexual freedom, one which no longer conceded any norms.”
Benedict adds: “Part of the physiognomy of the Revolution of 1968 was that pedophilia was now also diagnosed as allowed and appropriate.” This might strike contemporary readers as puzzling. But those who lived through that wretched decade will remember that some of the leading ’68ers also advocated “anti-authoritarian education,” which involved some pretty unsavory interactions between adults and children. Hippie communes weren’t child-friendly places, either.
“I have always wondered how young people in this situation could approach the priesthood and accept it, with all its ramifications,” Benedict writes. “The extensive collapse of the next generation of priests in those years and the very high number of laicizations were consequence of all these processes.”
The church, in other words, was no more immune to the disorders of that decade and its aftermath than the rest of society.
How come? Benedict blames clerics and theologians who, in the aftermath of Vatican II, abandoned natural law — the notion that morality is written into human nature itself and can therefore be grasped by human reason — in favor of a more “pragmatic” morality.
Under the new dispensation, “there could no longer be anything that constituted an absolute good, any more than anything fundamentally evil; there could only be relative moral judgments.”

Here’s the talking points from the Botox Queen: Barr is off the rails!
“Let me just say how very dismaying and disappointing that the chief law enforcement officer of our country is going off the rails yesterday and today,” Pelosi told reporters as she kicked off House Democrats’ annual “issues” retreat at a golf resort 35 miles northwest of Washington.
“Asked if she has confidence that Barr will fairly conduct his investigation into how the FBI carried out their Russia probe, Pelosi offered a terse, one-word answer: “No.””
———-
More talking points:
Barr “is the attorney general of the United States of America, not the attorney general of Donald Trump.” ——the Botox Queen
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., accused Barr on Twitter of “peddling conspiracy theories.”
“He is acting as an employee of the president,” (House Majority Leader Steny) Hoyer said. “I believe the Attorney General believes he needs to protect the president of the United States.”
“This type of partisan talking point may please Donald Trump, who rails against a ‘deep state coup,’” Schiff said, “but it also strikes another destructive blow to our democratic institutions.”
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., told Fox News that Barr’s vow to probe the FBI’s 2016 counterintelligence probe amounted to nothing more than “Republican conspiracy theory nonsense.”

Prausner says “right-wing kids” are aware that they should keep their family lives private, but she adds that a telltale sign of right-wing extremism is that there are usually no American logos on their parents’ clothing.
This is not to say there aren’t visual signs which can indicate a child is from a right-wing family, however, the researcher points out. Prausner warns that, while most people wouldn’t recognise them as such, “accurate braids and long skirts” serve as a warning sign that a child has right-wing parents.

Bad day for Trump His buddy Jullian Assange has been busted in England. Here’s just a few quotes from Trump praising Wikileaks. Taking advantage of Wikileaks stolen emails during the campaign makes Trump an accessory to a crime.
October 10, 2016 in Wilkes-Barre, PA: “This just came out,” Trump said. “WikiLeaks, I love WikiLeaks.”
October 12, 2016 in Ocala, FL: “This WikiLeaks stuff is unbelievable,” Trump said. “It tells you the inner heart, you gotta read it.”
October 13, 2016 in Cincinnati, OH: “It’s been amazing what’s coming out on WikiLeaks.”
October 31, 2016 in Warren, MI: “Another one came in today,” Trump said. “This WikiLeaks is like a treasure trove.”
November 4, 2016 in Wilmington, OH: “Getting off the plane, they were just announcing new WikiLeaks, and I wanted to stay there, but I didn’t want to keep you waiting,” said Trump. “Boy, I love reading those WikiLeaks.”

But, enough about the addicted to outrage freaky types. Laughter is the best medicine.
“White House National Security Adviser John Bolton could not stop laughing when played a clip of Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D., N.Y.) discussing her opposition to “tactile” nuclear weapons on the campaign trail.
“Bolton was played the clip of Gillibrand, which was caught by the Washington Free Beacon on Monday, during an interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt. Gillibrand twice refers to “tactile” nuclear weapons, saying the administration’s embrace of them was reason enough for her to oppose the entire National Defense Authorization Act. Gillibrand was likely attempting to discuss tactical nuclear weapons.
“Bolton, after collecting himself, said he is willing to take a meeting with Gillibrand to hear her thoughts on our nuclear arsenal.
“As national security adviser, I don’t get involved in politics, but I’ll just say maybe Senator Gillibrand could give me a call and tell me what she knows about those tactile nuclear weapons,” Bolton said. “I’d be interested in learning it.”

When something is published by the mainstream or others and it is picked up and used in campaign material it is perfectly legal. Just like Paul Emery and his p[als made up stuff on my project to try and defeat Fran Grattan. But he seems to have forgotten he did it himself. What a friggin hypocrite.
