[OK boys and girls, now it’s time to talk about the massive mega-lies the Democrats and their lamestream media lackeys have been telling us for the last two years.  To begin, I have to confess to a large error, before Russiagate I thought that the journalistic profession was the demonstrated refuge of mostly ass-kissing ignorameouses, my opinion of the commentariat and the news media was pretty low.  I was totally off base, because it wasn’t anywhere near low enough.  They have demonstrated and continue to demonstrate themselves as a herd of evil snipes who have no regard for their lightly read audiences as they continue their crusade of lies and innuendo to bring down a legitimately elected administration, diverting the electorate’s attention from its achievements and urgent national needs – e.g. education, immigration, debt, … .   gjr]

Adam Schiff is all pissed off.
    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/03/28/adam-schiff-defiant-after-house-intel-republicans-demand-resignation/
““My colleagues may think it is okay the president’s son was offered dirt as part of an effort to help Trump,” an agitated Schiff said. “You might think it is okay. I don’t.”
Well now… What about the “dirt” that Schiff was offered by the “Russians”? Does Adam forget that? It was even RECORDED.
” We have photos of Trump and hookers….”
I guess that don’t count. It’s OK when Russians try and help LIBS.

“…the United States Department of Education, in partnership with state Departments of Education and local education authorities, have contracted with Special Olympics to provide critical educational services in schools, supporting the development of children with special needs,”
“But, that’s not the issue now, is it?” Neither is the 17 million. Trump is making a personal jab out of spite. It’s his third try. Fortunately the Democrats have waylaid his sociopathic efforts.

    Tell the whole story OZZhole.
“But despite the outrage, the Trump administration is right: the federal government should cut its funding for the Special Olympics.
Consider the role of the federal government. Everything it funds should have good answers to these questions: What does the program do, and is it absolutely vital to the country? If the answer is that it’s not vital, but it just seems like a nice thing to do, then it’s hard to justify it forcing people to spend their money on something they could voluntarily donate to.
The Special Olympics does not need federal funding. Thankfully, they do a great job generating revenue on their own. During the 2016 fiscal year, they earned $111.7 million in revenue (with only about $11.5 million, or 10 percent, coming from the federal government) and had $109.9 million in expenses, meaning they had a $1.8 million surplus — plus, $61.3 million in net assets. Corporate sponsorships and direct mail contributions comprised more than 80 percent of its revenue stream, while investments and other fundraising comprised about another 10 percent.”

I guess in the same vein, you believe the government should stop contributing to school shooting sports and hunter safety classes (I got my hunter safety training and certificate in 7th grade PE).
Of course, West Point is an okay way to spend tax dollars – we even give football scholarships over more talented students. I don’t see Trump trying unfund military academies.
Trump has never hidden his disdain for “inferior” people. He doesn’t like short people. He mocks the physically disabled in public.

scenes 821am – “Perhaps it’s just a natural side effect of a country in it’s dotage. We are feeling around for a new and stable system that resembles the Soviet troika of party/army/KGB.” You have nailed it Mr scenes. Yes, when a country (or any large scale organization) starts to lose it dash and verve, and seeks to just conserve what it thinks it has, then the collectivist worthies ooze (Ozz?) out of the woodwork to put in place guardian institutions (judicial, police) to preserve and redistribute what the formerly bright-eyed and bushy-tailed entrepreneurs and workers have put in place.
These people are a country’s real stultifiers and stagnators, and their Big Lie has always been to wrap themselves in the ‘progressive’ mantle as if that label actually ever achieved or even denoted existential progress that improved the aggregate quality of life, instead of creating their usual aftermath of equal opportunity despair. Historically, they are the emergent grim reapers of all social orders that have lost the courage to face the risks and responsibilities that grow and advance civilizations.

    Daily Quotes :
For the record: “Keep in mind that Mueller was not simply investigating Trump; he was also investigation the Russian government. He exonerated Trump but not Vladimir Putin. Mueller indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian companies on charges of conspiracy and identity theft. There was a conspiracy to influence the 2016 elections. Trump just wasn’t a part of it.” —Marc A. Thiessen
Notice a pattern here? “Democrats in 2015: Everyone must accept results of the election. Democrats day after the election 2016: We do not accept the results of the election. Democrats 2017: Everyone must accept findings of the Mueller report. Democrats 2019: We do not accept findings of Mueller report.” —Charlie Kirk
Observations: “There are many things Democrats do not do well. But the thing they do least well is lose.” —Star Parker
Demo-gogues: “I opposed Clarence Thomas’ nomination. I voted against him. But I also realized there was a real and perceived problem the committee faced. There were a bunch of white guys. … So when Anita Hill … came to testify, she faced a committee that didn’t fully understand what the hell it was all about. To this day I regret I couldn’t come up with a way to get her the kind of hearing she deserved.” —Joe Biden
Braying Jenny: “I, firmly, believe that the House Committee on Judiciary should seek out whether President Trump has committed ‘High crimes and Misdemeanors’ as designated by the U.S. Constitution and if the facts support those findings, that Congress begin impeachment proceedings.” —Rep. Rashida Tlaib
Non sequitur: “We’ve got to do away with the Electoral College. We have a system now that was — it’s a defect in our democracy.” —Eric Holder (Actually, the Electoral College is meant to correct a defect prevalent in pure democracies.)
Non Compos Mentis: “We may never really know what happened on the street that night in Chicago.” —CNN’s Brian Stelter regarding Jussie Smollett (On the contrary, we know exactly what happened.)
And last… “Imagine if a white male actor faked a hate crime against himself by pretending black men attacked him in the middle of the night — then was subsequently acquitted of all charges. #JussieSmollett is an utter perversion of justice who just DESTROYED the myth of white privilege.” —Candace Owens

The story flew in the face of Cohen’s prior testimony that he did not know about the meeting in advance. Cohen’s attorney at the time, Lanny Davis, later said that he was a source for CNN’s story and made a mistake by claiming Cohen had any information regarding the Trump Tower meeting.

    The fix is in –
Marlow and Cernovich also discussed how the mainstream media holds the right, including non-journalists, to standards far higher than what they hold themselves to.
“Here’s a great example,” said Cernovich. “Mehdi Hasan, who’s big at Al Jazeera — which is owned by Qatar — and [who’s] now a CNN golden child … He goes around [saying] everybody’s a bigot, everybody’s a homophobe … This guy’s said some really bad stuff, way worse than Tucker Carlson, way worse than anything conservative media personalities say.”
Footage recently surfaced of Hasan, who regularly appears on mainstream media channels, comparing non-Muslims to animals, atheists to “cattle,” and gays to sexual deviants and pedophiles.
“The media’s not going to bring that up every time they talk about him” explained Cernovich. “They’re not going to say ‘Mehdi Hasan, comma, who works for a Qatari propaganda outlet and also compared people to animals, comma, said the following…’”
“They’ll just treat him as a straight-laced journalist, and pretend as if all of this stuff that he’s said, the fact that he works for state-owned media is not relevant at all.”

We can do this to the local po’ ol’ fakenewsman too!
Trump allies see Barr’s letter as a kind of Swiss Army knife—a tool useful in all kinds of situations. Not only is it exculpatory, they say, but it also implicitly rebukes the press for its coverage of the Russia investigation, inoculating Trump from any future scandal that reporters might unearth. According to a source familiar with internal discussions at the Republican National Committee and the pro-Trump super PAC America First, both organizations are “geared up for any nonsense to come.”
They’re already prepared to attack reporters. “Any reporter who tries that will be hit with 30-second spots of all their ridiculous claims about collusion,” said the source, who, like others interviewed for this story, requested anonymity to describe private conversations. “Their tweets have all been screencapped. It’s all ready to go.”

For those who can’t get behind NYT paywall, Page 3 (and 4) of the report is of the topic of discussion: The never ending story of “exoneration. Read the paragraphs after “exoneration” on Page 3.
    https://assets.bwbx.io/documents/users/iqjWHBFdfxIU/r.njjovzDF.E/v0
Barr did a decent job of summarizing Meuller’s Report. The report itself should contain its own few page summary when released.
Mueller obviously looked at legal requirements that Barr (along with Rosenstein and the Office Legal Counsel) looked at and all conducted that the Trump did not committ a crime…or for those who want Trump guilty, they all concluded that they could not reach the threshold of burden of proof….or, if you will, the preponderance of evidence. As Comey would say, “No reasonable procesutor would try this case.”
Mueller consulted the Office of Legal Counsel himself while writing the report. The guideline he is under is the same for anyone in the DOJ: you cannot procesutor someone for a crime you cannot prove, nor can you prosecute a case you cannot win.
So Mueller kicked the Obstruction of Justice case back to the AG. Wisely, Barr and Rosenstein and the Office of Legal Counsel all sat down together, went over the evidence, and said we cannot prosecute this based on the evidence and threshold. No crime, regardless of whether they cannot indict a sitting POTUS.
So, we have in the public’s view Barr(R), Rosenstein (Trump hater), and the Office of Legal Counsel (Bureaucracy) all agreeing. Seems fair and balanced and consistent with Mueller’s conclusion of no crime committed. .
Bottomline: Mueller wrote a report for the impeachment question, not for the legal question. Otherwise he would have pursued the legal avenue and would have lost.

Oh my. Rand Paul said he would and he done did. Makes sense. If we are going to appoint a Special Counsel to spend two years looking into Russian Collusion with the Trump Campaign, we must look into what launched the Special Counsel in the first place.
“Under Senate rules, any one senator can request that any bill or resolution be passed. But because it requires the sign-off of every senator, any one senator can also block their request.”
I don’t care whether it’s a Democrat president or a Republican president, we should not waste the time of the entire country sending spies into campaigns, making false accusations and tying the country in knots for two years,” Paul said from the Senate floor on Thursday.
“We will agree to see the Mueller report as long as the other side will agree to show us the communications that took place in deciding to promote this fake allegation against the president and whether there was misuse of their office,” he continued. “We based this investigation on a lie, we should investigate who the liars were.”
