Here we go again. Toe the line or else face the wrath of Enemy of the People! I kinda like Talsi Gabbbrd as a good person of conviiction and integrity
..not necessarily her politittics.
What NBC – amazingly – concealed is a fact that reveals its article to be a journalistic fraud: that same firm, New Knowledge, was caught just six weeks ago engaging in a massive scam to create fictitious Russian troll accounts on Facebook and Twitter in order to claim that the Kremlin was working to defeat Democratic Senate nominee Doug Jones in Alabama…….
In any event, NBC News, to smear Gabbard as a Kremlin favorite, relied on a group that it heralded as “experts” without telling its audience about the major fraud which this firm just got caught perpetrating in order – on behalf of the Democratic Party – to fabricate claims of Kremlin interference in the Alabama Senate race……….l.
That’s because the playbook used by the axis of the Democratic Party, NBC/MSNBC, neocons and the intelligence community has been, is and will continue to be a very simple one: to smear any adversary of the establishment wing of the Democratic Party – whether on the left or the right – as a stooge or asset of the Kremlin (a key target will undoubtedly be, indeed already is, Bernie Sanders).
To accomplish this McCarthyite goal, this Democratic Party coalition of neocons, intelligence operatives and NBC stars will deceive, smear and even engage in outright journalistic deception, as NBC (once again) just proved with this report.

Toes @ 7:16. You may be thinking of Kurt Zimmerman, who was a very good kicker for the Beban teams, but not soccer style. His immediate successor was the first soccer style guy at UCLA, Zenon Andrusyshyn, whose great claim to infamy was missing an extra point in a game UCLA lost to USC 20-21 for the national championship in a year both were undefeated going in. OJ Simpson scored the winning TD on a breakaway late in the 4th. L

RL Crabb caved like a house of mush on the criticism he got from someone who did not like his FB cartoon (not even his) on a LBGTQHUJDSFRT person. I am surprised as hell since he seems to have nards of stone in his defense against his fellow white males with “privilege”. Just goes to how me that even a cartoonist can be cowed by the 1/2%. And to think I defended him. Sad.

It was Zenon Andrusyshyn. I remember now. Whatever happened, they had to clear the field of all the trash pouring down on the refs and such. Must of been a bad call or dirty hi. The guy in front of me in the stands had a big tomato or something land right in his cup and splashed liquid all over him lol. He tossed his cup on the folks below and, not to be outdone, I launced my hotdog and even my LE law and order Dad starting laughing and joined in the fun and frolic. He wadded up his cup or something and hurled it at the ref or some Ore St player below. Needless to say, that game left quite the impresssion on me..
And the soccer kicker lined up for the game winning field goal chip shot and drove the ball three feet off the ground into the back of the offensive line. Pros seemed so boring after that game. It was like a Jr. High food fight….except no one got in trouble. :).

I tell ya, there is something about the transgenders that gets the most vile, triggered, unhinged instantaneous and over the top Blue Mob outraged reaction to even the most benign comment or cautions put forth by association of pediatriions. It’s like saying the N word ranks 2nd to even looking at any evidence into the issue. Nothing gets them going like saying…”Hey, 90% of the kids who identify as transgender outgrow it or change their minds by the time they reach 18 or 21.” Or, to even hint that maybe before we put pre-adolescence kids on puberty blockers then later on hormone therapy, maybe we should look at the issue closer before imbarking on giving minors drugs that will make them sterile and have irreversible consequences before we jump in i100% with both feet. Just saying. The science may not be setttled, but to say so is worse than putting black shoe polish on your face……Burn the Heritic!!
“The spirit of free inquiry and scholarly debate is central to academic excellence,” said the statement from Bess Marcus, the dean of Brown’s School of Public Health. “At the same time, we believe firmly that it is also incumbent on public health researchers to listen to multiple perspectives and to recognize and articulate the limitations of their work.”
The researchers clearly stated that more research is needed. And the parents surveyed were very supportive of their clhildren, their children’s decisions, and feelings. It’s not Ike they surveyed closed minded bigots like me. 🙂 There is to be no alternative views or studies!
“It is also notable that 86 percent of the parents who took this survey said they support same-sex relationships and 88 percent “believe trans people deserve the same rights and protections as everyone else.” Similar numbers supported their kids’ decision to adopt opposite-sex hairstyles, clothes, and so forth. Of the children who told their parents they wanted to see a gender therapist, 82 percent took them.
In other words, this is a highly open and supportive sample of parents who are largely fine with cross dressing and non-heterosexuality but not on board with chopping off their daughters’ breasts or giving their sons female hormones. It’s really hard to see how they can be fairly faulted for wanting other options and more thought before rushing to mutilate and sterilize their children. Instead of harming transgender people’s best interests, instead this study amplifies the concerns of people who clearly care deeply about gender dysphoric kids……….
The study offers insights into how gender dysphoria seems to develop among those who declare it suddenly.
Eighty-seven percent of the children studied became gender dysphoric after friends did, after increasing their time online, or both.

,,,Trump loves to “””F””” off on the public’s dime,,,
”’One of the most closely guarded and worst-kept secrets of Donald Trump’s presidency is his extraordinary laziness. Despite efforts to project a manly ardor, the current leader of the free world spends most of his free time tweeting, calling friends, and watching Fox News. Of his 745 days in office, Trump has spent 222 days unwinding at Trump-branded properties and 168 days golfing. According to the testimony of numerous West Wing staffers, he struggles to focus in meetings, largely ignores intelligence briefings, and tunes out policy minutiae. Once, according to former White House aide Cliff Sims, Trump literally got up and wandered away while Paul Ryan was in the Oval Office attempting to explain the Republican health-care bill. While Ryan was still talking, Trump walked down the hall to his private dining room and turned on the TV.”’

https://www.breitbart.com/economy/2019/02/04/a-hidden-strength-of-the-american-economy-household-debt-to-income-is-sinking/
“The reason the debt-to-income ratio have been improving is that after-tax household income has been rising even faster than indebtedness.
According to C.J. Lawrence, this suggests “that consumers may have learned their lessons from the 2008 financial crisis and are living within their means. That is good news for the economy and for select consumer related stocks.” ”
That means less beholden to LIB public doll.

Good ol’ botox Nancy –
Nancy Pelosi addressed a gathering of presidents of Christian colleges this week in Washington, where she thanked the evangelical community for its leadership on immigration and refugee policy reform. To this end, the speaker of the House quoted a favorite bit of biblical wisdom in her opening statement: “To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.”
OK, actually, she said, it might not technically be from the Bible. “I can’t find it in the Bible, but I quote it all the time,” Pelosi said as she introduced the quote. “I keep reading and reading the Bible—I know it’s there someplace. It’s supposed to be in Isaiah. I heard a bishop say, ‘To minister to the needs of God’s creation … ’ ”
To clarify: It is not “there someplace.”

Still trying to get rise, eh? No prob. Once they took the cameras away from the millionaires in pads kneeling before a sporting event, all was good. They can kneel all they want in the locker room or the tunnel. Once ESPN stopped televising the National Anthem on Monday Night Football, well….it’s like cutting the mic to a singer or telling a comic you have heard their jokes before by others…and they were lame the first time you heard them.
Two or three weeksago there was a Titan or Dolphin crying the blues to a sympathetic Leftinista press that he was still kneeling (the only one on his team) and they refused to film him. Bellly aching to high heaven. He just could not get no respect or fame.
Once I heard that Dr. Angela Davis and a few 4th tier gangstas rapper wannabes with pants down around their knees and other assorted premature ejaculations were boycotting the Super Bowl to ‘stand’ in solitary with Brother Colin, that was the green light turn on the transistor radio and dial in Westwood One. Turned the noise off during half time. Performances like that give the sleazy music business a bad name. Even the radio play by play announcers had to turn it down and apoligize to the listeners.
Enjoy your Nikes made by Chinese slave labor and dissidents. Happy now? Oh, Nike’s biggest sales are in Asia…drawfts US sales. Odd.

In the “we ain’t no grifters” dept. After being forced to shut down the trump foundation for dubious financial shenanigans and the $25M payout to defrauded former students of trump-University for fraud now those damn prosecutors are going after the trump inaugural committee. According to the Manhattan US attorney’s office prosecutors are investigating a litany of potential crimes: conspiracy against the US, false statements, mail fraud, wire fraud, money laundering, inaugural committee disclosure violations, and violations of laws prohibiting contributions by foreign nations and contributions in the name of another person, also known as straw donors.
Those evil partisan lawmen, why don’t they just leave the trump family alone and let them rip off the public in peace.

The Gipper: “How can we not believe in the greatness of America? How can we not do what is right and needed to preserve this last best hope of man on Earth? After all our struggles to restore America, to revive confidence in our country, hope for our future — after all our hard-won victories earned though the patience and courage of every citizen — we cannot, must not and will not turn back. We will finish our job. How could we do less? We’re Americans.” —Ronald Reagan
Real hope ‘n’ change? “Between the shockingly unfair treatment of the Covington Catholic kids and now Virginia Governor Northam’s statement on post-birth termination of live babies, I’d say there’s a powerful cultural backlash brewing.” —Ari Fleischer
Inquiring minds want to know: “Should someone propose a 70% tax on the Patriots so that NFL competition is more fair and equal? Asking for a friend.” —Dan Crenshaw
Braying Jenny: “The average NFL salary is $2.1 million, so most players would never experience a 70% rate. The owners who refuse to hire Kaepernick would, though.” — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Non Compos Mentis: “It’s Friday, so call me crazy, but I can’t wait for next week. On Wednesday, our @HouseJudiciary Committee will have the first hearing on gun violence in 8 years. A new Congress is putting your right to be safe over any other rights.” —Rep. Eric Swalwell (“Our right to bear arms IS our ‘right to be safe.’” —Allie Beth Stuckey)
The BIG Lie: “CNN — the network that promotes the hashtag #FactsFirst — mislabeled embattled Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam as a Republican on Friday during a segment about the Democrat’s apology for his racist 1984 medical school yearbook photo.” —Fox News
Friendly fire: “If it wasn’t [Northam] in the photo, he should have said that on Friday. I have no idea what was going on in the governor’s office on Friday.” —former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe

Globalization has been going on for centuries.
‘’’The mainstream assumption is that, once policy action and time have their impact, the wave of U.S. and European uprisings over globalization will subside. But that’s only if you look at the problem as one that began in the last decade or two.
Charles Mann, author of “1493: Uncovering the New World that Columbus Created,” says that the disorder over globalization actually erupted much less suddenly — beginning about five centuries ago.
Mann tracks globalization and the pushback against it to the arrival of Columbus in the present-day Dominican Republic, and the linkage it set off between the Americas and the rest of the world.
When different peoples smashed together, cultures clashed. “The complete mixing of all these peoples make people think they are losing their identities and leads to all sorts of upheaval,” he said.
“The world we live in was shaped by cataclysms of bringing together these two worlds.”
If you look at globalization as an undulating, five-century arc, the end of it — and discomfort with it — look much more distant. “There is a possibility that the upheaval could end relatively quickly,” Mann says. “But I kind of bet it isn’t going to.”’’’

From Spectator USA
“Socialism is back, because the West is losing its edge over the East and the millennials are so ignorant of history that most of them don’t know who Britney Spears was.”
I had to insert a pause after that sweet turn of phrase. Continuing:
“Ocasio-Cortez is the acceptable face of socialism, washed clean of the crimes which New Left people like [the Labour Party’s Jeremy] Corbyn have spent their lives explaining away. As the Republican party decays into the party of angry whites, there is nothing to stop her. Or the radicals and bigots who will march behind AOC, and mask their ugly hatreds behind her photogenic platitudes and cute purple heart. Meet your future president, Alexandria Ocasio-Corbyn.”

re 3M 730pm – First, Mann is a promoter of globalization in its modern definition of a unifying world governance and doing away with the Westphalian order. For that reason he does not define globalization and impugns its definition in the mind of his readers as an amalgam of the spread of west European civilization around the world, primarily in the form of colonization. There was no intent EVER for such lands to be unified, either before or after the European arrival. Bitter wars were fought to maintain an order of highly fragmented sovereignty, again before AND after the European arrivals. Mann was writing to the lightly read in order to support a one-world narrative. And apparently it worked.

““The state of the union under him has not been good,” she claimed, dismissing record low unemployment rates for black Americans and strong economic activity.”
” He lies over and over again, like I said. 6,000 lies have been documented since he’s been there. I just can’t imagine what he’s going to try and say!”
The same BS Emery has upchucked on these pages.
OH… And back to 48% approval.

I wonder sometimes if the Global Warming/Climate Change people wouldn’t be more successful if they decoupled that huge handbasket of political change they desire from merely solving a problem of human-caused pollution.
Who am I kidding? It’s obviously all about this new political religion with little to do with practical measures to solve a perceived problem.

Upheaval is how you get nations (well, that and enough wealth to produce an infrastructure). The Romans were produced from threats from Celts and an offshoot Phoenician state, the Russians from threats from steppe tribes and Germans, the Chinese from steppe tribes, the English from the continent, etc.
You can argue that the United States is the result of a fight to the death between (mostly) English settlers and highly foreign indigenous peoples.
The threat causes people of similar language, religious belief systems, culture to band up into something larger.
So called ‘globalization’, in the sense of a giant and peaceful mingling of cultures, will never happen. You just end up with new winners and losers. If you feel some great pleasure from watching your own people decline, I can’t help that. The word ‘cuckold’ is used for a reason.

,,,No intent? So what??? Just because there was ‘’’no intent’’’ during feudal times does not mean such ‘intent’ was never supposed to be discussed ever till the end of time…
and BTW,,,I never said I was a true believer of globalization…

That’s right.. A blue state singing the blues, and blames Trump..(for their own ludicrous taxation)

“The Democratic governor said Monday that changes to the federal tax law resulted in his state losing $2.3 billion in tax revenue. The 2017 law capping deduction for state and local taxes at $10,000 is the reason for the shortfall and immigration out of the state”
All Trump did was end the rest of the nation subsidizing the blue leach states.
“I don’t believe raising taxes on the rich. That would be the worst thing to do. You would just expand the shortfall. God forbid if the rich leave.” He called the decision to cap deductions “a diabolical political maneuver” designed to help red states.
“A lot of rich people are trying to find a way out of New York,” Barry Horowitz
California has been hit especially hard over the years. The state’s high housing prices and rising gas prices are driving away what remains of the state’s low income citizens. Those migrating from the coastal state are making their way for places like Las Vegas and Arizona, where housing prices are relatively cheap compared to California.
The Golden State saw a loss of over 138,000 people in that 12-month period”
And more are leaving, as the vary pretty Gavin, looks to put the screws to us even more.

3M 843pm – has this dialogue gone insane? I (825am) was refuting your opening assertion “Globalization has been going on for centuries.” which it has not. Where did anything about prohibiting ‘discussing’ the pros/cons of globalization come in????? Is this progressive thought on display?
