Compromise??? Trump drops his call for a big beautiful concrete tilt up wall to compromise for a metal slat fence and the Leftinista Media Super PAC, Bobbie Sue, and our own spokesman for the Deep State call that lying, lol.
    Quotes
Insight: “It may easily be foreseen that almost all the able and ambitious members of a democratic community will labor without ceasing to extend the powers of government, because they all hope at some time or other to wield those powers. … Centralization will be the natural government.” —Alexis de Tocqueville
Upright: “Boys are not lost because of toxic masculinity; they are lost because their fathers have been taken away from them and they cannot figure out how to fill that void with anything but rage and shame.” —Chad Felix Greene
Food for thought: “It’d be great if Trump just delivers the SOTU in written form, but there’s no way he’d agree to it after Pelosi suggested it. Maybe instead he can be convinced to give a short speech, 10 minutes or less, from the Oval Office. No pomp and circumstance. Great precedent to set.” —Matt Walsh
Non Compos Mentis I: “I think that’s the question of the moment: Does this still work? Can an empire like ours with military presence in over 170 countries around the globe, with trading relationships … and security agreements in every continent, can it still be managed by the same principles that were set down 230-plus years ago?” —Beto O’Rourke
Non Compos Mentis II: “[A border barrier] will ensure death. You and I, as Americans, have caused the deaths of others through these walls.” —O’Rourke
Apples and oranges: “If Republicans rebuked Steve King, they must challenge Donald Trump.” —Steve Israel in The Hill, where he bogusly claims, “As long as [Republicans] refuse to challenge the president when he gives comfort to neo-Nazi marchers, vilifies immigrants and mocks native Americans, spews decisive rhetoric, then, really, King is just a pawn.”
And last… “The Washington Post had one of their lead reporters do an entire investigation into the calorie count and cost of Trump serving fast food, yet they did little investigation into 30 congressional Democrats getting drunk on the beach with 109 lobbyists during a government shutdown.” —Charlie Kirk

Gonna be funny when her 70% tax rate on 10 million dollar earners gains an additional $89.50 in revenue and in order to satisfy her need for funding the “Green New Deal” they push the thing down the income ladder (which is always done) to generate a decent haul! Hell they might even get down to the retired “professor” from Sierra College!
    Wouldn’t that be fab!
You really need to think these things through dugsKKKi instead of letting Yahoo news do it for you!

No surprise there, will they indict the chairman for lying to congress?
The term “abortion” was added to a “blacklist” file for “controversial YouTube queries,” which contains a list of search terms that the company considers sensitive. According to the leak, these include some of these search terms related to: abortion, abortions, the Irish abortion referendum, Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters, and anti-gun activist David Hogg.
In the leaked discussion thread, a Google site reliability engineer hinted at the existence of more search blacklists, according to the source.
“We have tons of white- and blacklists that humans manually curate,” said the employee. “Hopefully this isn’t surprising or particularly controversial.”
Others were more concerned about the presence of the blacklist. According to the source, the software engineer who started the discussion called the manipulation of search results related to abortion a “smoking gun.”
The software engineer noted that the change had occurred following an inquiry from a left-wing Slate journalist about the prominence of pro-life videos on YouTube, and that pro-life videos were replaced with pro-abortion videos in the top ten results for the search terms following Google’s manual intervention.

It was one statistic, not on any particular race… but a composite that relied on perhaps only 6 people per each of the 435 congressional districts… and that just one per district was about the error it showed.
Yep, their model/sampling/something went south in the last days. But not on anything that actually counted.
My opinion is that you ran with it as a banner that proved what you wanted it to say… that Rasmussen was a shoddy player in the polling business… based on just one statistic.
    Really, Paul. Stop the bull.

Just wanted to back off a criticism of Steven Frisch’s Sierra Business Council. I had pointed out that their staff was slanted female, but I hadn’t counted their Board of Directors as a big piece of their puzzle, and while the staff is majority female, their 11 person Board has only three women.
I realize having a Board that is 73% male might not be seen by some women as a balance of their being 68% of the worker bees.
It is lily white though, putting all 40 of 40 folks pictured at sierrabusiness.org in the white camp, not that one or more might, like most of us, have some DNA that came from places other than Europe.
How do capital-P Progressives get away with it?

Good Lord. Just imagine how much money they could raise for charity if they simply went out and mowed lawns or something…
Seriously, it’s hard to get a smarter gig than to open up a ‘nonprofit’. In a world of declining employment opportunities, that’s probably the work of the future.
“Sad that 4 Americans had to die before MAYBE Trumpski got a clue”
Yeah. Bummer that he went to war in or brought down the governments in Iraq, Libya, Syria, Egypt, Afghanistan.
I’d say that you members of the War Party have little of value to add in this. People who let their Trumphate get in the way of disengagement in those places don’t even deserve the tiny amount of respect I might give them.

Thanks for the google search blacklist article Don. It’s exactly the kind of thing that is growing over time.
When I refer to the ’17 intelligence agencies’ as a kind of shorthand for the Surveillance-Industrial complex that Paul is so proud to have on his side, I really should refer to the ’18 agencies’. The last one is a kind of hivemind created from ‘progressive’ social media and search engine companies. They really are a kind of de facto arm of the federal bureaucracy at this point. Just give them a decade or two to improve their technology and whoever has the real keys to government will be able to institute a permanent elite.

SPLC has paying off folks the second they receive the papers. Too easy, no dispute. However, David Horowitz has refused any settlement. They offered him a quick $200,000 the second they received hiis filing suit to the courts,, but refused. He wants to take them to court and have the public light shone on their evil deeds. He has vowed to spend his last pennies, all his wealth, hours, and strength he has left to bring them into court before he leaves his mortal coil. Not a matter of money, but of principle. But first, he is taking MasterCard, Pay Pay, and Visa to court, also refusing any settlement. Let the light shine on them first, then the SPLC.
“The David Horowitz Freedom Center has had their donation processing system blocked by Visa and Mastercard allegedly following a campaign by the Southern Poverty Law Center. Visa has since contacted Breitbart News to deny involvement in the blacklisting of the Freedom Center.”

Hey doesn’t the po’ ol’ fakenewsman still have that warehouse of popcorn? It looks like it will finally get used but not how he thought –
Judge Royce Lamberth ruled Tuesday that Obama administration officials, including national security adviser Susan Rice and deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes, must answer written questions as part of a conservative judicial advocacy group’s Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the State Department over Clinton’s emails.
The lawsuit by Judicial Watch – now with the U.S. Court of Appeals District of Columbia Circuit – was first filed in 2014 in an effort to obtain records related to Clinton and her staff’s response to the Benghazi attack. Specifically, the group sought documents about Rice’s explanation immediately after the attack on the U.S. compound that characterized it as a protest turned violent instead of a deliberate terrorist assault. At the time of the attack, Rice was serving as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
“But the case has since expanded to question the motives behind Clinton’s private email use while Secretary and behind the government’s conduct in this litigation,” Lamberth wrote in his Tuesday order.

The Republican — who served as attorney general from 1991 to 1993 — was confronted with comments he provided to the New York Times in 2017 during his first day of hearings, in which he suggested the Justice Department had more of a legal basis to investigate the Clinton Foundation and a longstanding conspiracy theory surrounding a uranium deal under Hillary Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state than it did probing Mr Trump’s alleged obstruction of justice.
