Been out all day so I haven’t had time to get into this. First of all are you asking me to design a strategy for the Republican Party in California?
Reconstitution implies by definition a renewal process so I assume you have an era or time frame that you would like to emulate. That, of course, brings up Ronald Reagan as Governor and later President. Reagan was a man of charm and cleverness. Of course he must be compared to Trump who is crude and shallow. Since the Republicans in California are stuck with Trump for at least two years as their flag holder and he so phenomenally
unpopular there must be a distancing from him before the Party can get any traction for a rebuild. They need independent voices with a California style actually like Reagan had when he distanced himself from the Rockefeller Republicans.
The thing to remember is the Republican Party is now the Party of Trump
A dynamic independent California First Republican party has to emerge out of the current rubble. I cite Brian Dahlie as an example of someone who can get things done and influence the direction of the future of California.

The extreme left owns the State Assembly and State Senate by something like a zillion to eight as well as the Gov’s office and every lever of power from top to bottom in the Gavin Administration, including the Secretary of Voting. Now they can put in practice every thing their little hearts desire in CA. Free health care, free college, free family leave, higher wages, higher taxes, more taxes, then more taxes. The sky is the limit! There are no limits.

Law just passed that the board of directors of companies in CA have to have at least half women on the boards or else pay the State fines. If there are 6 board members, 3 must be women…or else. We got one out of three votes? Remarkably good indeed! No way. We broke 30%? A miracle I tell ya, a bloody miracle. Think it was Robert Cross that ran over here a couple of months or so ago so gleeful that the R’s were polling at 30% and we are doomed. I replied something along that the R’s were about 24% in CA, so 30% seemed rather high.
I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard after the primaries from life long actie ad informed voters, “If Cox was not on the ballot, I would not even bother to vote in November.” First time for everything. To tell you the truth, I thought about not voting in the midterms. Seriously thought about it and it wasn’t just a passing thought. The only reason I did vote was to lodge a protest against another gas tax to fund the State payroll and pension liabilities due now.
At least I tried. Tried to save the State from going full Paris, but it was not meant to be.
It’s all Kaanaugh Hearings, the Seuel from here on out. 1/3? Oh, that is too high. Not acceptable. Must have full compliance. Annihilate the Deplorables!
