When you raise the cost of anything you get less of it – less produced, less consumed, and less available to support things in the economy that depend on it. Totally unknown to the Left.

Did Trump really say that? My, he has such a way with words, now doesn’t he. You know, Trump is a lot like Punchy. Jab jab jab first time, everytime. He will run to the microphones and mix it up with the Lamestream and loving every minute of it. Most accessible POTUS in my lifetime.
Last week or so on a Friday morning he was heading out to Twirly Bird One and the fake NPR story was sizzling hot hot hot and not rescinded yet in that 6 hour story and something else about Cohen has the goods on Russian Collusion and R’s should be very nervous. Now, a normal Presiden would just head straight to the he.icopter and wave to the press as he is hurriedly went up the stairs. Not Trump. Instead of playing deaf, he turned around and mixed it up with them. He loves it, lives for it. Just like our Popinjay. Except Trump don’t take no time off for a little tick.. 🙂 He’s got a swamp to drain and a country to fix. Stopped by a tick?

yep. It’s al most a branch of the government to themselves and above the law, yet controll the law. Our 5th branch of government.
Finally got around to diggging into Uranium One. Documents, testimony in forgein capitals and parliaments. . Not quite the nothingburger we were told. M was most adamant that it was another conspiracy theory.
State Departtment threatened to cut off aid to the government of Kazahsttan if they they do go along to alllow sales of mines start the ball rolling to having a third party obtaining the export license, so no, the uranium did not stay in our country as promised . And who was in charge of the Approval Panel with all the agency top dogs signing off. My Gal! It was her baby. Oh, she was just a member on the panel, some deputy took care of it. Right. You mean like with a cloth? :).
    ——————
Seems to me somebody was on the fainting couch when Trump called out Arnold for dropping the ball on the Apprentice. Gee, try to do a guy a favor and he ain’t up to running a reality tv show. Also on a Sunday. Hmmm.
Seems to me I recall somebody losing their marbles over T Rex from Exxon Mobile having contacts with the Russias and together they are going to take over the world energy and hold Europe hostage with Trump and T Rex’s help….Big Oil joins Big Evil Russia (our sworn enemy) to enrich oil companies (Punchy’s other sworn enemy) for a new Evil Empire. That is proof that Putin has blackmail stuff on Trump the novice. Sells out country and the free world for money! Stop them! T Rex the now good man.
Exxon Mobile for Secretary of State!!! The swamp! Worse than Humungous from the Road Warrior. T Rex is not a suitable choice. The Russians will run circles around us.

Wonderful – Paul managed to find a dictionary online and cut and paste a quote from said dictionary.
Here’s the issue, Paul – why is there inflation?
If it’s because the govt has added a tax to raise the cost of goods and energy with no increase in value to the consumer then…
    Cue the Yellow Vests.

Paul, I don’t get a feeling that you’re grokking the difference in cost as a number of dollars and cost as a value of those dollars.
If a punitive tax is imposed on carbon fuels, everything that is moved or made by those fuels will be made more expensive, and therefore we will have less of them. Yes or no?

The Union Army solved the hyperinflation experienced by the Confederate Dollar for a two week period. Does anyone know what the Union Army did?

Here is what happens when that is put into practice.
    https://www.breitbart.com/economy/2018/12/10/majority-of-discharge-petition-gop-members-exit-congress/
“In June, the 23 members used the discharge petition process to push for a Democratic-backed amnesty of at least 3 million DACA illegals. That push gave political cover to Ryan while he created a second immigration bill which successfully split the GOP caucus amid unanimous Democratic opposition to Goodlatte’s bill.
The subsequent November wipeout is being described by establishment outlets as a defeat for “moderates” — even though the discharge-petition group sought no compensating protections or benefits for the blue-collar workers whose wages would be damaged by the flood of amnestied workers.

WOW! Trump may have given money to a skank to keep her yap shut.
Yet “O” had millions in “illegal” money issues.
” Cohen admitted to criminal violations of election law. … President Obama had a big campaign finance violation and it was easily settled! … However, under federal campaign finance rules, a contribution is “anything of value given, … for nearly $2 million in contributions in the final weeks of the campaign.”
Then there is Uncle Joe, and HIS dirty money
The Biden for President campaign committee owes the Treasury more than $219,000 because it accepted excessive campaign contributions and understated the value of a trip taken on a private plane in the 2008 campaign, the Federal Election Commission said in a new report.
Auditors from the agency found numerous violations of campaign finance rules by the committee that Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. used in his bid for the Democratic presidential nomination.

No, I would characterize it as Trump was being extorted for money during the last days of the election. October surprise. Stormy extorted money. At least John Edwards was not extorted for money to pay for fun times and his love child as his wife was dying of cancer.

Anybody notice the graffiti on the wall, buildings, and inside looted shops in The City of Romance? No, the taggers did not write “Kilroy was Here”. Rather, it was an A with a circle around it, red and black. Must be Antifa’s calling card in the cities. The incredible shrinking rural France did not have such graffiti or looting. Hmmm. One could almost draw some parallels with Solid Blue urban districts and rural Red Districts in CA.
