   It’s an interesting idea, but darned rare on the ground I think. It’s rather like the climate denier -> holocaust denier -> Hitler linkage. If you are a ‘nationalist’ in the (incorrect) sense that most people mean it, that is to say that you favor existing US nationals over the rest of the world, then you are a ‘white nationalist’. A nationalist -> white nationalist -> Hitler sort of thing.
   If you have a creation myth built atop slavery and Hitler, all politics is defined in those terms.

    Come to think of it, Dr. Ford’s lawyer did mention the four on the fence when he/ she praised the decision to call in the FBI. Come to think of it, Mitch pushed for the soon to be confirmed esteemed Judge Kavanaugh precisiously so those on the fence would have to vote before the mid-term elections. No place to hide, no redos.
    Not a bad strategy to win more Senate seats. Not bad at all. The other 48 Dems were not never ever going to vote for the highly qualified Judge Kavanaugh anyway, so all we do is gain and all they do is lose more ground. Sweet.

    “All of these things do not focus on what we should be focusing, which is the credibility of Judge Kavanaugh,” Hirono, D-Hawaii, responded, before calling Kavanaugh’s claims of a political conspiracy against him “bizarre.”
    “And, by the way, even as all of these accusations about this being politically motivated are being tossed around, everyone acknowledges, including Judge Kavanaugh, that Dr. Ford is not being politically motivated,” Hirono, who has suggested Kavanaugh did not deserve due process because of his “outcome-driven” conservative legal philsophy, continued. “That is very clear.”
    The apparent non-answer likely would fuel Republicans’ efforts to seek a deeper inquiry into exactly how news of Ford’s confidential letter ended up in the hands of The Intercept — a leak that GOP leaders, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., have strongly suggested was orchestrated by Democrats.
    “I’m going to get to the bottom of it,” Graham told Fox News on Sunday, suggesting that someone in Feinstein’s office or one of Ford’s attorneys may have been responsible for strategically deploying the leak to harm Kavanaugh’s chances. Graham also flatly said it was improper for Feinstein’s office to recommend to Ford that she hire an attorney, especially one with connections to Feinstein and the Democratic Party.

    Yup –
    There is a well established process of confidentiality on the committee. Dianne Feinstein could have showed that letter to Chuck Grassley and the two of them, as the leaders of that committee could have shared it with the FBI who could have discreetly conducted this inquiry in July and in August without betraying Miss Ford’s confidences. And they have betrayed her. They pointed her to lawyers who lied to her and did not tell her that the committee staff was willing to go to California to interview her. All that- now all of that is water under the bridge. Those lawyers are going to face a D.C. bar investigation into their misconduct. Dianne Feinstein and her staff is going to face an investigation for why they leaked that. All of this could have been done discreetly it happens hundreds of tim- hundreds of times every year in the Judiciary Committee.

    NAFTA: the worse trade deal ever and now it is redone and we are no longer getting reamed. Thank goodness. Loved that Trump that Justin the jerk off can go it alone, that we are not going to play ball with hm. Only took two or three days later to make Canada’s Folsom Street Fair fashion designer to come around like he whinny school girl he is. Thank goodness we are no longer getting screwed.
