[A reader alerted me to another gem of the FUE's logic. He takes to task those who criticize the People's Republic of Kalifornia, and still (gasp!) take their leisure at the state's awesomely scenic locales. The man's brain cannot separate terribly gone wrong social policies from the state's natural beauty, as if eschewing one requires rejecting everything that is still good about the state, and that mainly because the progressives have yet to eliminate the last vestiges of such enjoyments (e.g. denying/limiting public access to TBD 'wildlands'). This thinking by local lefties is replicated in Sacramento, because those are the idiots that the gimmes all over the state have now voted into power. And that California now has achieved the nation's highest poverty rate gives additional depth to the ignorance of these leftwing loonies. gjr]

Grassley drops the sworn statements from Ford’s three witnesses she identified as having been there all have all sworn under oath that the event and party was news to them. Immediately after that, Ford left and is done testifying.
Found it curious that Dr. Ford was unaware that the Senate Chairman had reached out and offered for folks fly to California and have her interviewed in privacy. No flying. She said she would have gone for that. Wonder what else her lawyers and handlers and backers withheld from her.
Next up, Kavanaugh. It was ironic that the homely senator told Dr. Ford this is not a criminal trial, yet if you name is Brett, it’s going to feel like a Soviet style criminal trial, lol. Rules of a court are out the window.

Can’t remember how she got to the party (before the incident in question), how much the lie detector cost her, what happened two months ago, and, by golly, she likes to fly. That’s credible????? In fact, all 3-4 witnesses Dr. Ford named to collaborate her story all say they don’t, can’t, or won’t recall any of it. That is credible?…
Nay, one person today was credible. Bet they did not know Kavanaugh had a calendar and diary back in 1982. The Left has done much harm to our country and our institutions that will take decades to repair, if ever. They tried to turn the US Senate into the Jerry Springer show.
