[A reader alerted me to another gem of the FUE's logic. He takes to task those who criticize the People's Republic of Kalifornia, and still (gasp!) take their leisure at the state's awesomely scenic locales. The man's brain cannot separate terribly gone wrong social policies from the state's natural beauty, as if eschewing one requires rejecting everything that is still good about the state, and that mainly because the progressives have yet to eliminate the last vestiges of such enjoyments (e.g. denying/limiting public access to TBD 'wildlands'). This thinking by local lefties is replicated in Sacramento, because those are the idiots that the gimmes all over the state have now voted into power. And that California now has achieved the nation's highest poverty rate gives additional depth to the ignorance of these leftwing loonies. gjr]

How about something provactitive: The Left is left with hatred.

For those who cannot get behind the paywall and have time, here is an audio of Shelby Steel on the radio. 13 minute podcast. Again, he nails it. Hatred and vanity is all the Left is left with…and people are going to get hurt.

Found it Todd. He does not deny his arrest.”More than 20 years ago, I was arrested–not once, but twice. So you should know that and we should all own that, if asked.” O’Rourke specified that he’d been arrested for attempting to hop a fence at the University of Texas at El Paso and later, he said, for a “far more serious mistake: I drove under the influence of alcohol. There’s no justifying that.”
According to the results, O’Rourke’s May 1995 misdemeanor arrest on the UTEP campus was later declined and his September 1998 misdemeanor DWI arrest in El Paso was dismissed.
At least he is honest about his personal history something that Kavanaugh wont fess up to.

More discrepancies in Ford’s story –

Details differ from other times she has recounted the story, and it is revealed that it was administered in Maryland — even though she recently delayed testifying before the Senate, citing difficulty with flying across the country from her home in California.

North Carolina has 100 counties. Your source of rainfall data lists 28 counties. The last paragraph also states “THESE DATA ARE PRELIMINARY”.
Elizabethtown is in Bladen County (not listed in your data). Lumberton, a city west of Elizabethtown, was hard hit by Florence, and is in Robeson County, also not listed.
You should be careful of your data sources. It reflects poorly on you and your position.

woman who allegedly witnessed Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s sexual assault is prepared to speak to the FBI and Senate Judiciary Committee about the incident.
The Washington Post reported Wednesday that Elizabeth Rasor, the college girlfriend of Kavanaugh’s friend Mark Judge, said through her lawyer that she “would welcome to the opportunity” to speak to officials.
Though Rasor did not corroborate Ford’s allegation, she told the New Yorker that Judge “ashamedly” confided in her about an incident in college when he and other men “took turns having sex with a drunk woman.”

The Pubbers are in a lose-lose situation in the Kavanaugh confirmation situation. Deny him and Trump and his ilk are branded losers, confirm him and you have an activated female electorate just in time for the midterms in a month.
“The growing furor over Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination has Republicans trapped between their conservative base and the female voters who’ll be pivotal to deciding control of Congress in November.
President Donald Trump and his conservative allies are rallying behind Kavanaugh, calling allegations of sexual misconduct brought by two women a Democratic smear campaign intent on blocking his confirmation to the high court. But they’re doing so amid a widening gender gap that has women increasingly breaking toward Democrats six weeks before the midterm elections.”

I think there’s some truth to that, but it would be true for any candidate.
Given that there are no rules in Civil War II, you can invent any old thing about a Supreme Court nominee and make it stick to some extent. After all, this isn’t about policy, it’s about winning.
Of course, one side effect of this is a radicalization of Team Red. Given your age, you might not like the world you are helping bring about.

There is the potential for a backlash on the Libbies on this one. That last Avenatti stunt is a real doozy. A 1980 high school grad is going to high school teenage parties to years later. Sees the boys lined up to take turns at these parties, and this woman goes to these drunk fests 10 times and watch assaults and rapes going on before it happened to her. If one puts himself or herself back in high school and all the gossip normally going around anyway, a parent, a best friend, a PE coach, a school counselor, a mother of a friend of a friend, somebody…would have heard something and at the very least the Vice Principle would be hauling the boys or girls in for a little hard questioning and calling parents and quite possibly LE. That’s why Sandy Hook was not a conspiracy. There are just too many parents and kids, relatives, teachers, and neighbors close by that all would have to keep it hush, hush and not one wouldn’t spill the beans? Impossible. Toss #3 out.
Big backlash against the Blue Wave is possible. We willl know soon enough. It’s so over the top and blatant right now that it goes against our values, our sense of justice, not to mention fairness. Americans have an ingrained sense of justice. Even kids on the playground cry out, “That’s not fair!” It’s so out of bounds that it is going too far for the average Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sackofdonuts. Avenitti is so far over the top he truly is in theTwilight Zone.
Then there are the outraged women who think Dr. Ford and the circus going on around her is demeaning to those women who actually were raped and it never leaves the back of their minds for a day 47 years later and the remember every detail. Major affront t to the true rape and battered victims. That’s what they are saying. Engraved.
And of course #metoo is doing damage to their cause and themselves. May have started off going with good cause Weinstein and the like, but their extremist tactics are too off the charts for the country……yet not extreme enough for the media. 🙂
As the parade of victims grows or shrinks, expect a higher than what I would thought R turnout. They are seething out there. Trump did get 52% of the women. Time will tell.

3:09 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported wanting to be taken back to her castle because she was the real queen of Ireland, this before she was a heart surgeon. The caller said there were people who have issues with her at a grocery store and many other places in Grass Valley. The caller then said she was a vampire but promised not to bite an officers. The caller was wearing an orange dress and backpack with vampire pants with bats and see through parts. The caller said it was very much similar to business attire except for the bottom half. Another call received reported the queen of Ireland wanted to know if an officer was en route or if they will just take a report and fax it to the castle. She was advised to stop calling 911 unless she had an emergency. She hung up.
They usually hang up when confronted. Anyway, male patrichary is on trial. Oh, the drama! Oh, my virgin ears.

Quotes from these dark days in our nation’s silly Great Divide
Upright: “It should go without saying that the Supreme Court should not be this important. If it were just a judicial tribunal, even the highest-ranking one in the nation, the only thing we would care about would be having its bench filled by high-quality, high-character legal talent. The justices’ politics and partisan affiliations would be irrelevant because they would be technicians applying law to narrow legal questions, not making law and deciding how 325 million people who did not vote for them should live.” —Andrew McCarthy
For the record: “If the GOP goes with Amy Barret Comey, she’ll be attacked for conspiring to get women raped and forcing gay conversion therapy on people. If the GOP goes with Jesus, he’ll be attacked for forcing people to give up their demons and killing pigs. Lies will be used on them all.” —Erick Erickson
Village Idiots: “I believe Christine Blasey Ford and I demand that our Senators vote to reject Brett Kavanaugh as the next Justice on the Supreme Court. Every person who refuses to loudly and openly reject Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination is telling every generation of Americans that an alleged abuser’s career is more valuable than a survivor’s humanity. And the highest court in our land is no place for an alleged sexual offender to sit.” —actress Alyssa Milano
Non Compos Mentis: “I put [Kavanaugh’s] denial in the context of everything that I know about him in terms of how he approaches his cases.” —Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI)
Alpha Jackass: “So even though Dr Ford is saying please stop, slow down, I’m not comfortable with the way this is going, the GOP is gonna plow through, ignore her telling them to stop and just take what they think is rightfully theirs?” —MSNBC’s Chris Hayes
Deep state: “This is a classic espionage ‘wilderness of mirrors.’ This is a set up, deliberately … leaked to provoke Trump into firing Rob Rosenstein.” —Mark Steyn on the Rosenstein obstruction setup
[HYPOCRITE!] —- “Believe me, I am frustrated, too. I am sick of all the chaos and the nastiness of our politics. It’s exhausting and, frankly, it’s depressing. I understand wanting to shut it all out.” —Michelle Obama, whose husband epitomized the moniker of divider-in-chief
And last… “Noteworthy to watch all the media rushing to insist that Kavanaugh’s diaries don’t ‘prove anything.’ If only that were the standard they also maintained regarding the accusers’ (evidence free) allegations.” —Kimberley Strassel

A second woman, 48-year-old Deidra Vrooman, faces the same charge. She’s accused of casting ballots in the Democratic primary in Alameda and Nevada Counties. Wanted on the accusation, Vrooman hasn’t yet been arrested, Walsh said.”
As they say, “vote early and often.”

What was on the ballot in the 2016 primary?
All one big happy family –
Late Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal reported that approximately 10 years ago, Swetnick retained the law firm of Katz, Marshall & Banks to represent her in dispute with her former employer, insurance company New York Life, over a sexual harassment complaint Swetnick had brought.
Deborah Katz, one of the firm’s founding partners, is currently representing another Kavanaugh accuser, Christine Blasey Ford.
Meanwhile, Politico reported that a former boyfriend of Swetnick had sought a restraining order against her in 2001. In an interview with the publication, Richard Vinneccy said that Swetnick had threatened him after they broke up and he married his current wife.
