Local theater owners refused to run conservative movies so we cannot compare them anyway. Dinesh D’Sousa has had numerous movies and I and others here had to travel to Auburn and Yuba City to see them. The TV show with Tim Allen was canceled by CBS for its support of Trump’s policies and it was a high winner in the ratings. So your ilk on the left can’t hack it when there is competition try and do, shut them out and down.

I’m glad you can go to Placer County To find movies Of your taste Todd. Nevada County being a blue county now has to cater to the people that live here. I’ve heard there’s some pretty good deals on condos in placer county Right next to the movie houses you like. The great thing about America is there’s a place for everybody.

Well, Punchy, the super twat, like all of us, has the right to do anything she pleases as long as it’s lawful. You can’t even think of Marilyn Monroe without thinking of the Kennedy Brothers. Bobby was banging Marilyn as well. Sibling rivalr. Nor would I be upset with a stumbling Gerald Ford with that bad knee he got from his days as an All American Football Player at Michigan. I am ok with all that. If Gerald and Betty Ford where accomplished by their son Steve ( the guy who snuck girls in and smoked pot in the White House), that would be cool with me.
But Betty Ford is a little different. After Pat Nixon, Betty Ford was a breathe of fresh air. Candid, open, down to earth, and very unpretentious.
One of the first questions the press asked her as First Lady was where she would be sleeping. Betty replied “with my husband in our bed like we always have.” The press thought that was such a hot scoop, it made headlines. First Lady to sleep with President Ford! Guess up to that time, First Ladies had their own separate sleeping arrangements, lol. Ad Betty wore tennis shoes!
Betty always handled herself with dignity and grace. She has helped countless others where the rubber meets the road and I cannot think of a First Lady who has done so much for so many, for fun and often for free. She waved her speaking fees to address conferences. One of a kind. To portray her as a stumbling bumbling drunk to get laughs is degrading to all women.
To take Betty Ford’s honesty, openness, and vulnerability of which Betty Ford shared to the world solely to help other struggling men and women…..to take that and make it a point solely and exclusively to be ridiculed for laughs is beyond me. If anyone should be deported back to Berekely it is those hyprocrites and so called defenders of women who so shabbily trashed Betty Ford.
Be that as it may, I will defend the supertramp’s right to say it and display it. I will defend people having a Hitler birthday party in their own homes as well. I will voice my opinion, but will never condone it nor try to prevent it. That’s what they do in Socialist countries.
As long as this is the country of my birth, I defend everyone’s right to be offensive, stupid, and make asses of themselves. Bar none. That’s what separates the Left from the Libertarians and the Right. To do other would be to stoop to the Left’s level. That is not an option for me.
The Union publishing the drunken Betty Ford as a “miss” is an bigger audience than my mere opinion could possibly reach. Yes, unfortunately the “miss” had to come from a member of the public and not from one person on the Union Board, but the word got out.

Yep, and the Ford’s high school yearbook being scrubbed of all the classmates comments of the girls having keggers and bragging about passing of out at parties…like how drunk can we get! My guess is the lawyers from Soros and Co. are trying to line up expert witnesses to explain away all the big holes in the letter, the letter we may never know its contents. National security concerns. lol. Time is running out and they better come up with some collabation pretty soon. But, she don’t need no collaborator her lawyer says. Her lawyer says this, says that, been working on the case since August. Her lawyers and Soros funded groups, along with the media, has been going over every single classmate, neighbor, and resident for anyone on the planet to back up the story. Find the house or block or neighborhood or something.
If justice is what is sought, there is no statute of limitation for assault in Marlyland. Don’t know how long that law has been on the books. Still, Dr. Ford could have the local police look into the manner. Take her statement. Still, where is the crime scene? Witnesses? Hearsay don’t cut it in a court of law. Allegations are not evidence in a court of law. Anything. Throw them, throw us a bone. The media and scores of lawyers are working overtime to come something. The clock is ticking. Bet the Constitution haters have a few more tricks up their sleeves. Never underestimate evil.

Local businesses can ignore the needs and cultural desires of the losers. Can heckle them in public forums. Ignore their politics and tell them to travel to another county or even state to see movies or concerts that cater to their POV.

If fact, if I am in the gym or greasy spoon and a Russian dude is sitting next to me and we are chatting, there is no expectation of privacy and anything you say or do can and will be used against you in a court of law. There is no expectation for privacy on the road, in public, or in a movie theater.

This mindset is what RR has been describing for years as a fundamental attribute or even a litmus test for when the Left dominates communications. It is the ideology that is and always has been deathly afraid of the competition of ideas. Yes indeed, our friends and we have had to drive to Roseville to see the D’Souza and Ayn Rand films. Got thinking. I remember when Michelle Obama and the press were really fretting one morning over the 5 or 8 children that got gunned down in Chicago. She was really choked up. “They are just children, children” she woefully exclaimed
. Come to find out the children were 18 and gangbangers. But they were children! Listen to the children. And if the children made a mistake, then we must let them go. Release them. It did not last long here when they found out it was true.I was up against the owners of the theaters back in the 90’s as I represented the Milhous family when they were goping for a General Plan Amendment offered by the county. They had owned the property for many years and helped many young men change their bad ways. Now they were old and wanted to have a little “town” at their property. The owners of the theaters fought hard against them. I won.
