[On 11 September 2001 radical Islam carried out its most devastating attack on those they identify as infidels and kafirs, their name for the rest of us on this globe. On this day of remembrance it is incumbent on us in the west to reflect on the state of Islam, and especially its quiet ongoing conquest of Europe, whose belated recognition of and opposition to what's happening is deemed racist by the Left. Lest we forget, Europe is just the warm-up, with the battle cry 'Death to America!', an Islamic America is their main objective. gjr]

Nice try Paul, just where are the charges against Moore?
As soon as the end justified the means, the accusations dried up over night.
The same game is now being played again. The people see with open eyes this time.

This is definitely a provocative question. Before the question is posed, this may send the Leftinistas screaming all sorts of uncreative and overused pejorative names. When you challenge the ground the Left stands on, it ain’t a pretty sight. Oh well. The question:
Is diversity is our greatest strength?
“After playing clips of Democratic politicians reciting that truth of modern liberalism, Tucker Carlson asked, “How, precisely, is diversity our strength? Since you’ve made this our new national motto, please be specific.”
Reaction to Carlson’s question, with some declaring him a racist for having raised it, suggests that what we are dealing with here is not a demonstrable truth but a creed not subject to debate.
Yet the question remains valid: Where is the scientific, historic or empirical evidence that the greater the racial, ethnic, cultural and religious diversity of a nation, the stronger it becomes?

I think unity is our strength. The results of Identity Politics does not seem to make us stronger.

Re PR casualties “confirmed by two studies”. Studies based on computer models with no corroboration from boots on the ground, or even interviews with the people living there, are never ‘confirmations’, but only ‘projections’ or at best ‘estimates’ with a documentation of the methodology that includes error ranges. Only science-light people or those pushing an agenda (here TDS) would ever publicly admit that those numbers have been confirmed by anyone.

My. They went from TDS to the elevator and much more palatable TAD and now back down to the more accurate TDS. Thank you.
Boots on the ground are kinda important. Ask a one room cop shop guy with a badge how many kids where in that little school down the way before and how many kids do your think are there now. What would you say were how many families living up in that there canyon before Maria and the other hurricane not long before it?
Ok Patricia, how many patients are we talking in a county of 100,000 residents and what is the quantity of medicinal marijuana they need? Ok, Linda, how many people in our county of 100,000 need medical health services? Are 30% of us nuts, or is it a third? I hear a charitable survey that said only 25% are off our friggin rockers.
Carnac the Magnificent says 2,975 people perished in PR. Survey says, “I dunno.”

First of all can you show me where the Democrats manipulated the numbers for whatever purpose? I see no documentation anywhere supporting that.
Those were the numbers accepted by Puerto Rico and the Republicans in the house as expressed by Paul Ryan.
What does Trump know that Ryan and many other Republicans don’t know? What was his souces of information anyway…
“WASHINGTON – House Speaker Paul Ryan disagreed Thursday with President Donald Trump’s assertion that the death toll from last year’s hurricane in Puerto Rico was inflated.
Ryan told reporters he had “no reason to dispute” the findings of a study commissioned by Puerto Rico’s government that put its death toll at nearly 3,000 people.
“You couldn’t get to people for a long time on the island because roads were washed out, power was gone and the casualties mounted for a long time,” Ryan said when asked about Trump’s tweet. “So I have no reason to dispute those numbers. Those are just the facts of what happens when a horrible hurricane hits an isolated place like an island.”

Trouble for Kavanaugh!!!
Flake opposes quick vote on Kavanaugh, putting confirmation in doubt
And Bob Corker urges the vote on the Supreme Court nominee to be postponed.
Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court hit a serious roadblock Sunday night, as GOP Senate Judiciary Committee member Jeff Flake said he is uncomfortable voting to advance Kavanaugh’s nomination later this week after the nominee’s sexual assault accuser went public.
Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), who is not a member of the committee but whose vote is critical to Kavanaugh’s confirmation, similarly said late Sunday that the committee should pause.

Packed with progressive elements, esp. regarding the genre adjective which applies to music – i.e. progressive rock, progressive metal, progressive folk, etc. “Progressive” generally connotes virtuosic instrumentation, incorporation of exotic sounds/instruments, use of uncommon time signatures, unusual/abstract lyrical subject matter, etc.
I’m sort of OK with Coheed and Cambria, I guess, but they are not nearly as proggy as Dream Theater or The Mars Volta. They sound like a less-proggy version of Rush, except Rush didn’t have an emo influence.
Proggy fonts are a collection of fonts specifically designed for use by programmers.

Here’s a statement from the University that conducted the study. Gregory are willing to go on record as sayint they are lying?
Statement Issued by Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University on Sept. 13, 2018
We stand by the science underlying our study which found there were an estimated 2,975 excess deaths in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria.
Researchers at the Milken Institute SPH in collaboration with scientists at the University of Puerto Rico Graduate School of Public Health analyzed mortality, via use of death certificates and related information, from September 2017 through the end of February 2018. Using a state-of-the-art mathematical model, the team compared the total number of deaths during that time to the expected number based on historical patterns as well as age, sex, socioeconomic status and migration from the island.
This study, commissioned by the Government of Puerto Rico, was carried out with complete independence and freedom from any kind of interference.
Our results show that Hurricane Maria was a very deadly storm, one that affected the entire island but hit the poor and the elderly the hardest. We are confident that the number – 2,975 – is the most accurate and unbiased estimate of excess mortality to date.
The report, “Ascertainment of the Estimated Excess Mortality from Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico,” can be accessed here.
For more information, visit prstudy.publichealth.gwu.edu.
Here is a link to the actual study. Did you read it before shooting off yourself?

Oh, don’t be surprised. If you know how evil and morally bankrupt the Leftists are, it’s normal and expected of them. The illiberal ones did not bring this up at the hearings on purpose. Done on purpose and purposely waited til the hearing were over.
And if you think this is about Kavanaugh, you are wrong. And it you want to discuss the facts, that means you don’t care about woman, lol.
The accused can’t name the year or the house or street. Neither can she name the host. No witnesses, no report submitted. In 2012, decades later, she told her therapist she was 15 years old and there were 4 other teens in the room. No wait. She was 17 and there were two males teens. Rich Chevy Chase drunk teens at a party.
There is nothing in Kavanaugh’s past to hint at this kind of behavior. Six (6!) FBI background checks, not a hint from any female that clerked for him or with him. Don”t matter. Keith Ellison’s accuser has a witness, exact dates and time…..literally hugged and embraced by Bernie after Keith’s wife beating abuse….nothing to see there, lol.
You cannot defend yourself against these kind of charges. What teenagers did three and a half decades ago (36 years) with the only named witness says it never happened. This could happen to me, you, Punchy, Dr. Rebane and there is no defending yourself against accusations that long ago and stretchy details at best. Now, Kathleen Wiley and Anita Broderick have never recovered for what Bill Clinton did to them while Bubba and his victims were all adults, but that don’t matter to the evil ones.
The accuser’s social media has been scrubbed. Now she says it happened in 1982. There are some “rate my professor” comments still up from her days at a CA state university her students speak of her “dark” side, dark….it don’t matter. That’s hating on women!
Bottomline: These accusations never came out at the hearings on purpose. This has nothing to do with Kavanaugh. There is no winning this with reason or facts or even defending yourself.
Someday the violence and hate the evil immoral twisted Leftinistas have dished out will be coming back on their own heads and they will be screaming bloody murder….and for good reason.
This should put to rest any lie that the media will be nicer to the Bush people than Trump people. They don’t care what they do to the process or fairness. The fact that judge K was the presiding judge on her parents’s foreclosure case has nothing to do with it.
