[On 11 September 2001 radical Islam carried out its most devastating attack on those they identify as infidels and kafirs, their name for the rest of us on this globe. On this day of remembrance it is incumbent on us in the west to reflect on the state of Islam, and especially its quiet ongoing conquest of Europe, whose belated recognition of and opposition to what's happening is deemed racist by the Left. Lest we forget, Europe is just the warm-up, with the battle cry 'Death to America!', an Islamic America is their main objective. gjr]

This is a truly remarkable statement consistent with a Narcissist using lies to justify a desired opinion. Unbelievable. This is an example of why the Republicans are going to lose big by being connected with Trump.
“I think that Puerto Rico was an incredible unsung success,”
Schumer responde
“Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer (N.Y.) on Tuesday slammed President Trump over his claim that the federal response to Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico last year was an “unsung success.”
“This is an offensive, hurtful and blatantly false comment from the president,” Schumer tweeted. “Nearly 3,000 of our fellow citizens died in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria. That is the complete opposite of ‘success.’”

PaulE 242pm – Considering that Puerto Rico is and always has been under corrupt governance and of a Caribbean cum Central American culture, their succumbing to the hurricane to the extent that they did was not surprising. And US aid was prompt, ample, and its use mostly mismanaged. That they recovered to the extent that they have is to me and most of us remarkable, Trump’s “remarkable statement” withstanding.
That island territory has been blessed for a century by living literally in the arms of the most powerful and richest country ever, granted unlimited commerce and citizenship rights, and they have mostly blown it in their desire to practice the means and methods of their Central American brothers. Schumer continues to be the Democrats’ current reigning champion liar and demagogue.

“California man Farzad Fazeli was arrested Tuesday for allegedly trying to stab a congressional candidate at a fair on Sunday, police said.
Local media identified the candidate as Republican Rudy Peters, who is challenging Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell in November.
Peters survived serious injury thanks to a malfunctioning switchblade, the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday. The attempted stabbing was preceded by Fazeli making “disparaging remarks” about the Republican Party, according to the sheriff’s office.”

Well I would suggest that the PR Governor and his pals running the place drove it into the ground. They were something like 100 billion in debt and they can’t print money. And their emergence services obviously sucked as they allowed their island to be destroyed. Their power grid was already very bad. And then Trump and FEMA come in and are now bringing the island into the 21st century and all you liberals assho*** can do is cry about Trump. She also used the term “silent donation” to describe Google’s contribution to the effort to elect Clinton president.
The main email, headlined, “Election results and the Latino vote,” was sent on Nov. 9, 2016—the day after Clinton’s loss to Trump in the 2016 presidential election—by Eliana Murillo, Google’s Multicultural Marketing department head.

Step right up folks and get another dose of fossil fuel propaganda as the Heartland Institute presents rebuttals to Jerry Brown, the scientists at the Global Climate Action Summit and the vast majority of Americans who are concerned about climate change. Hear them tell you why the real scientists are all wrong and Heartland’s cherry picked drivel from pre-determined results is really the truth.
“The Heartland Institute became a leading supporter of climate change denial. It rejects the scientific consensus on global warming, and says that policies to fight it would be damaging to the economy. They are heavily funded by corporations involved in the fossil fuel industry. Heartland Institute has been found to be false on occasion.” –Media/bias fact check
“Despite criticizing climate scientists for being overconfident about their data, models and theories, the Heartland Institute proclaims a conspicuous confidence in single studies and grand interpretations….makes many bold assertions that are often questionable or misleading…. Many climate sceptics seem to review scientific data and studies not as scientists but as attorneys, magnifying doubts and treating incomplete explanations as falsehoods rather than signs of progress towards the truth. … The Heartland Institute and its ilk are not trying to build a theory of anything. They have set the bar much lower, and are happy muddying the waters.” — Source Watch
On former Heartland President –“Mr. Joseph Bast, president and CEO of the Heartland Institute, testified for the Intervenors regarding the Texas Taxpayers’ Savings Grant Programs (“TTSGP”), a school voucher bill that failed in the 82nd Legislative Session. As a threshold matter, this Court finds that Mr. Bast is not a credible witness and that he did not offer reliable opinions in this matter. While Mr. Bast described himself as an economist, he holds neither undergraduate nor graduate degrees in economics, and the highest level of education he completed was high school. Mr. Bast testified that he is 100% committed to the long-term goal of getting government out of the business of educating its own voting citizens. Further, his use of inflammatory and irresponsible language regarding global warming, and his admission that the long term goal of his advocacy of vouchers is to dismantle the “socialist” public education system further undermine his credibility with this Court.” – from a Texas court ruling
On the person named to replace Bast, former Kansas Rep. Tim Huelskamp: “Huelskamp’s top donor is Koch Industries and he has received the highest lifetime campaign contributions from the Oil and Gas industry”. -Open Secrets

“Joshua Crook, accused in the weekend shooting death of Jacob Halleib, now faces an additional charge of assault with a semi-automatic weapon, Nevada County court records show.”
Authorities recovered a Glock semi-automatic pistol, which Jakobs said is likely the gun used in the shooting.
Now gross negligence is the charge. Now if his lawyer is smart, they could demand the word “negligence” be changed to “careless”.

Opps, butchered that one.
Look, people just started squatting on the land in PR. Thousands of them. The government let them do it all over the hills. They built little shacks that blew over in the hurricane. Hills washed down, mudslides. Like outside of Tijuana. Sheet metal forts.
So FEMA is there to help, but the peasants don’t own the land! No own the land, no money to rebuild your home. It’ would be like the homeless around here building some hobble out in the woods or up on the hills and then applying for loans for huts on property that is not theirs, but somebody else’s. .
We gave them food, tents, FEMA stuff, cash, and some Nike gear. How cool is that? What more do they want? San Juan has power, stores are open. The biggest pain was the harbors were destroyed and we couldn’t get big ships in there right away. Neglect by them.
By Jove, I got it! They done blew through all their FEMA money and want more. Typical.
