Now that the just released IG report about Russian collusion and Hillary’s emails took the wind out of Democrats’ sail, their next bag of hot air is blowing across the land from a timely pivot to blaming the Trump administration for separating illegal alien kids snuck over the border by their illegal alien parents who are now criminals according to longstanding US law.

When you are caught sneaking across our border with your kid(s), you are not an “immigrant” – now no longer adorned even by the politically permuting adjectives ‘illegal’ or ‘undocumented’. You are simply an apprehended illegal alien fugitive. That you broke our laws does not entitle you to an automatic smorgasbord of benefits and special treatment.

Having your offspring in tow does not suddenly make you exempt from the laws that prescribe how our native criminal parents are dealt with when they are taken into custody. We don’t put their children in jail with them, and we don’t give adults a ‘get out of jail free’ card just because they have children. What we do is take their kids and put them into appropriate foster care until their parents’ legal situation is resolved according applicable laws. On any given day there are almost a half million children in foster care across America, and the turnover in that population is high. Here is a summary of data on that from the Dept of HHS, ‘The AFCARS Report’.

Today, as part and parcel of the spread of national dumbth, progressives (and even some light thinking conservatives) are hyperventilating about Trump having invented a new policy for ripping children from the loving arms of parents who really did nothing wrong other than leave their shithole country, illegally transit other benign countries, and sneak across our border to live the American dream. All they want is asylum, jobs and/or US govt checks, and amnesty. What’s so bad with that?

The details of the applicable laws, the history of their enforcement, and the current situation is more complex than can be explained to attention-deficit audiences with other things on their minds. All that they need to hear from lamestream outlets is that Trump is “cruel and immoral” and doing something never done before to jailed people, be they American citizens or illegal aliens. Such reporting should keep the leftwing’s 'Resist Trump' pot boiling.

I think everyone can agree what this is all about, even Paul. It’s just the build up to another big amnesty fight, like what we have every 10-15 years.
Right now, kids can be held only for 20 days, under the care and sole responsibility of Health and Human Resources. Even if we sent 50 judges in the detention centers, provided attorneys, translators, explain all there options (like ten options), all it takes is for one to request asylum for various reasons. Gotta get birth certificates, verifty the parent(s) are the really the parents of the children, do the background stuff like criminal records, education, etc, and that is assuming we can get the information from a functioning civil service in their native countries in a timely matter. Ain’t going to happen.
So, let’s cut the crap. This is where I think Punchy will agree. 4 out of 5 aslymn requests are rejected for false statements, fraud, or and simply do not qualify or meet the criteria. 20% qualify and are in, legally. But what about those thousands of families who show up here with their kids and are rejected? Those 80%. What about the illegals with children who are caught? Answer: the Left wants them all released on US soil. All of them. They want them inside the US to do what they do. Period.
Catch, process, release into our country.. That’s what they want. Kick the can down the road.

BillT 506pm – Actually Mr Tozer, there’s one more step. After release, they become part of the population of illegal aliens awaiting amnesty and joining the Democrat voting block. You know, like today’s population of Dreamers and other illegal alien schemers who are then too numerous to send back – ‘Tell me now, how are we going to round up X million of these undocumented immigrants and send them back; go door-to-door with ICE SWAT teams and put them into trucks??’ Just like now, the only ‘humane’ solution then will be to let them stay, qualify for all benefits and holding government jobs, and ultimately vote.

Was it really a mistake?
Democrats’ proposed legislation to prohibit so-called border separations would actually prevent federal law enforcement agencies almost anywhere inside the United States from arresting and detaining criminals who are parents having nothing to do with unlawfully crossing the border and seeking asylum.
Every Senate Democrat has now signed on to cosponsor a bill written so carelessly that it does not distinguish between migrant children at the border and U.S. citizen children already within the United States. The bill further does not distinguish between federal officers handling the border crisis and federal law enforcement pursuing the ordinary course of their duties.

Around 12,000 children are currently in the custody of Health and Human Services after entering the United States. According to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirsten Nielsen, 10,000 of the 12,000 children in the care of HHS arrived in the U.S. as unaccompanied minors.
“We know for a fact that a lot of adults taking children along are not related to them. [They] could be muggers. They could be human traffickers. It’s a very unhealthy dangerous thing and it needs to end. We need to return to a good lawful system,” Sessions told Perkins on his broadcast.

President Donald Trump defended his tough enforcement of immigration laws on Tuesday, blaming Democrats for failing to work with Republicans to change the laws to allow families to stay together.

American voters oppose 66 – 27 percent the policy of separating children and parents when families illegally cross the border into America, according to a Quinnipiac University National Poll released today.
Republican voters support the separation policy 55 – 35 percent, the only listed party, gender, education, age or racial group to support it, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe- ack) University National Poll finds.
American voters also support 79 – 15 percent allowing immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children, so-called “Dreamers,” to remain and ultimately to apply for citizenship.
All listed groups support Dreamers, ranging from 61 – 28 percent among Republicans to 94 – 5 percent among Democrats.

Trump was right when he said hours before the polls closed on Nov, 2016 (talking about the Democrats) that you “cannot believe how dishonest these folks are. I thought the New York real estate crowd were tough, but these people are dishonest.” You can’t believe how dishonest they are.

t’s not a stupid policy, Boardman. Easy to say that sitting behind your gated community with security making sure no one scales the walls to sneak into your community.
So, I take it you are against zero tolerance for illegals aliens sneaking into our country. Sure, add children into the mix and it pulls at the ole heart strings. It’s a tough call. So, the new policy will be zero tolerance for illegal aliens unless they toss their infants over the fence, hoping some family member catches them before they hit the ground?
Trump just said something like “If you are soft, millions of illegals will flood in here. If you are tough, you have not heart.” Pretty much sums it up.
Personally, I don’t see the Dems wanting to fix this particular problem. Chucky the Clown, in a rare moment of candor, said as much. He wants the focus to be on Trump, not the Senate fixing this specific issue. Then, after railing endlessly against Trump for acting like a dictator when he rescinds executive orders or issues EO’s with the strioke of a pen, he says no need for Congress to act, just take out your pen. “Here, Mr. President, you Dictator you, you can borrow my pen”, Chucky the Clown sez, Rightttt.
A federal judge has ruled that Obama’s EO (with a stroke of a pen) establishing DACA overstepped his Constitutional authority. Up to Congress to write the laws. Then another fed judge ruled that Trump cannot end (not renewing ) DACA with a stroke of a pen. Go figure.
The Left does not want illegal immigration to be a crime. Period. All the Left’s advocacy only increases human trafficking, sex trafficking, and potentional for child endangerment.
Chucky does not want Congress to fix it because he says the R’s will put poison pills in the bill the separating illegals from their children caught crossing our border at places other than lawful points of entry. That is just speculation. Everybody is trying to use this issue for another big ole comprehensive amnesty bill…again.
Used to be simple. Catch the illegals sneaking in, detain them, and deport them back as a family. Now, we are stuck with 12,000 children, which only 2,000 are separated from their parents as their parents fight deportation. The other 10,000 kids in detention are children who their parents dropped off at the border or sent them ahead as the parents sat home,, not worrying a lick about separating their own kids from the family unit. Odd.
Trump may sign a tailored very specific EO to fix the separation of illegal alien forgein nationals being charged for lawbreaking from their children. But, the Left will not be satisfied with that for one second. Not one second. They say in unison., from coast to coast, “Illegal Aliens are welcomed here.” Trump and moi say Immigrants are welcomed here, illegal aliens are not welcomed here. That is the crux of the problem.
You, Boardman, who constantly bitch about nobody (Trump) not fixing Obamacare or trying to keep Medicare and Social Security afloat without touching it, now bitch that some of us are saying unchecked illegal immigration will bust the safety net. A little Central American mother of 2-3 youngins, who does not speak English or have any education beyond 5th grade and zero skills will survive here exactly how? How will she take care of her precious little ones when they get sick. Who will watch them while she is working. How many translators do we need to assign to her, besides case workers and educators? And we should let millions of illegals in top of the one million legal immigrants we welcome each year….because they pop out kids like there is no tomorrow?
Trump will fix it, no doubt. Nobody else in this whole country is equipped or willing to take on such a huge problem, as evidenced by the last 30-40 years. Love how you guys are part of the problem, your solutions are worse than the problem, and when it gets to critical mass and the mess looks unsolvable, you cry out for Trump to fix it, ROFLMAO.

At least Peter did not pull a jon smith and call the mother of Brandon a whore or pull a Punchy and went into hours of pure unadulterated outrage about the young man’s mother’s shoes. Or pull a M and call her an immigrant, apparently some kind of backhanded slap. We are making real progress here. Kinda sad when the spokespersons for the Democrat Party (a formerly major political party) are Hollywood airheads, unhinged Congresspersons, and TV talking heads who all care more about the rights of illegal aliens than they do about our the rights of US citizens.
