Cal-3Cal-3 is going to be on the November ballot. WaPo reports that “On Tuesday, the California secretary of state confirmed in a memo that Draper’s Cal-3 campaign attained enough valid signatures to earn a spot on the ballot Nov. 6. After more than 150 years of failed partition proposals, California voters will finally go to the polls to decide whether they want to relinquish their monopoly of the Pacific coast and become three new states.”  Venture capitalist Tim Draper’s old plan to cut California into six more ideologically cohesive pieces has been slimmed down with some apparent success.  No matter its fate at the polls, the proposition confirms again what RR has maintained over the years while vehemently being denied by the state’s Left – especially our lightly read locals.  People do want their voices heard by their government, and people do want to live with others whose values and mores are more than less like theirs.  Such existential diversity is anathema to the one-size-fits-all Left.

The Left’s campaign to enlarge national dumbth gets a boost from NYC’s mayor deBlasio reports Jason Riley in ‘The Attack on Educational Excellence’.  deBlasio wants schools with entrance test requirements, for which Hispanics and blacks are historically poorly prepared, to revert to the racial quota system, all in the name of “diversity”.  “In the upside-down thinking of affirmative-action advocates, academically rigorous schools should be more focused on achieving racial balance and less focused on maintaining high standards. Asian displays of academic excellence therefore become problematic. Asians are somehow to blame for outperforming others, and they are to be punished for the historical injustices that blacks suffered at the hands of whites.”  Occam’s rationale for deBlasio’s call to eliminate entrance tests is simply that ignorant minorities are easier to keep disgruntled on the plantation where their attitudes and votes can be readily manipulated.

Trump in Singapore.  Well, it turns out that it was really the media experts who were expecting a single-shot breakthrough at this week’s summit.  Leading up, they blamed Trump for expecting too much from the meeting, while Trump was telling the world not to expect much more than it would be the “potential” beginning of conversations which no other world leader had been able to launch with the North Korean dictators, while allowing them to become an ever bigger danger to world peace.  Now the Monday morning quarterbacks are decrying the President for not walking out with a definitive world-shaking treaty that in one swell foop rid the Ugly Fat Kid of his nuclear capability and made him into a well-behaved leader enjoying a recent epiphany on human rights.  Demonstrating that their Trump Derangement Syndrome knows no bounds, these self-pumped pinhead pundits are now manufacturing hypotheticals about all kinds of imagined bad things yet-to-come, and getting a jump on criticizing the President for those.  (Here is an example from the auto-profound Council on Foreign Relations.  The myriad pronouncements on the lamestream are too silly and stupid to even consider.)  Meanwhile, Trump continues to tell all that the process has just started, and no one has given away anything to anyone – i.e. going forward we will trust AND verify.

[14jun18 update]  The 500-page DoJ’s IG report on Hillary’s email server investigation has apparently been seen by select eyes only, and is promised to be made public later today.  From early and conflicting reports by sources such as AG Sessions, Rep Trey Gowdy, and the WSJ, it is unclear what kind of political bias IG Horowitz found or did not find.  The congressman concludes what most of us witnessed over the last two years, that the FBI’s treatment of Hillary and Trump have been profoundly asymmetrical.  Yet the WSJ reports, ‘DOJ Watchdog’s Clinton Report Finds Mistakes by Comey, No Political Bias’.  We can hardly wait to discover what kind of hoops the IG had to jump through to come to that conclusion.  An early and perhaps premature assessment is that the Deep State is fully engaged in defending itself.

[later]  Well, the 568-page hernia pack is now out for all to read, and it’s a doozer (download pdf here).  The report documents in exhaustive detail the prima facie bias expressed throughout the months of the FBI’s investigation of both the Trump and Clinton campaigns.  It hauls Comey, Lynch, McCabe, Strzok, and others over the coals, and then, and then, … FBI Director Christopher Wrey goes in front of the cameras this afternoon and does a reprise of Comey’s 5jul16 bullshit performance exonerating Hillary.  Wray goes through the exact same arguments of the damning evidence the IG’s investigation uncovered, and then announces a jaw-dropping conclusion that there was no hint of political bias shown by the investigators or during the course of the investigation – simply unbelievable how the man could keep a straight face delivering that copy.

Wray’s message essentially acknowledged that the FBI screwed up from start to end, and “we’ll hold people accountable”, but the organization itself remains as untainted as ever and was not harmed by at least 18 months of continued incompetence and blatant documented bias.  Somehow screwing up the biggest investigation the FBI has had in decades should make no never mind in the minds of Americans.

More revealing were the sober, detailed, and very frank assessments delivered by House chairmen Trey Gowdy (R-SC) and Bob Goodlatte (R-Va) on Bret Baier’s FN Special Report.  Both men were incredulous of the way that the Deep State was now defending itself.  It’s worth watching this exchange here on YouTube.

Shifting back to education and the great politically correct dumbeth downth.
You know, in the 1200s, not much was going on in Colorado. Florence in the 1300s is where civilization was being pushed forward. There not much data to study about the Mojave Desert tribes. No written language, no wheel discovered, basically just some hunter gatherers and some oral stories recorded around 1900. What they ate, what they shunned to eat, some beliefs. Same with many places around the globe. Heck, my people were hunter gathers when the Colonalists arrived. In history, we study where things were happening, where things were going on pushing civilization forward or in some direction, IMHO. Going where the action was. It’s not political, it’s not sensitive, it’s just the way it was and still is in some places.

It’s phony. Don’t split the state 3 ways. Split it 2 ways. Northern California minus San Francisco, the southern coast and Los Angeles. These people don’t have any idea where everything they need comes from and could care less about those who produce what they need. That’s why so many producers are leaving. Unfortunately the locusts are now swarming out of the big cities to the rural areas cuz they don’t like what they’ve created. Unfortunately, how they think and vote is all they know unless they make the effort to learn and change their ways.

My numbers reflect on the total votes for all Repub and Dem candidates. Perhaps you misunderstood my methodology. Those numbers reflect my conclusions detailed in my 6:43. The ONLY race in Nevada County that has more Repubs than Dems is the Assembly race with Brian Dahle. Hope that clarifies my conclusion that combine with the larger registration of Dems Nevada County is indeed a Blue County with Dems leading in 9 out the 10 races I outlined. Not even close to being nearly 50-50.
Horray for you side, the Board of Equalization is leaning Repub. Congratulations. Make that 8 out of 10 going Dem

Rereading Dr. Rebane’s “Trump in Singapore”, the man is a genius. Nothing to add, says it all. The narrow minded and intelligently challenged cannot differentiate the tactics from the strategy. The MSM is incapable of seeing beyond their noses on their face and ironically project their cult mentality onto Trump. Their mansplaining has come up wanting and as per the rule, rather than the exemption. Punchy and Boardman’s dribble are excellent examples of disminished capacity in action. If Trump is successful, then we need to redefine the definition of what has been considered so called.success.

Regardless of what happens, there’s 25 million people in Seoul; 300,000 of those are Americans who are within range of thousands of rockets, missiles and artillery pieces along the border,” said Dunford.
“I don’t have any doubt in my mind if we go to war with North Korea that we will win the war. We will be successful in accomplishing our objectives,” Dunford continued.
“I’m equally confident in what Secretary Mattis said,” he added. “In that conflict, we will see casualties unlike anything we have seen in 60 or 70 years. And many of those casualties will be in the first three, five, seven days of the war, where all those people in the greater Seoul area [are] exposed to the North Korean threat that we will not be able to mitigate initially.”

We don’t need no stinking reservoirs and Frisco can get their own water. It’s for the little fishies and bright bellied froggies. I have always felt it most unfair that the Hetch Hetchy water was exempt from the Endangered Spices Act so no water was diverted to our wildlife, instead going straight to those polluters and greedy bastards in the Bay Area. Hate to admit it, but the FUE may be right. He calls this a purple county. Not that I agree with his “middle of the road majority” description, but more along the lines of a plurality with neither warring faction having a vast or solid majority. So, I reckon there is no true minority opinion here, all in all….unless you are into that idea that somebody is ordering cops to go out and kill blacks standing on the street corners or crazy stuff like that. The Police Blotter does expose some real doozies,, but I figure those types are on the wrong medications or taking more that they recommend doses. One offs. Yes, there are pockets of those tin foil fruitcakes around, mostly concentrated in one spot off Broad Street, but not taken seriously or an accurate description of this county’s general population.
. So, all in all, despite all evidence to the contrary, this ain’t Frisco or the Castro District or Berzeekly, where they voted 92% for Crooked Hillary and are still hunting down the 8% who voted wrong. That is a more apt description of a blue area than a plurality, give or take.

When you live long enough you experience, see and learn lotsa things. Ya gotta have a sense of humor regarding human nature reacting accordingly. Evidently it the same o live and learn for most of us. The guys that struggled with each other to come up with America’s Constitution were very proficient regarding human nature and history. Hahaha…Today were thinking about dividing California into three states. Thomas Jefferson predicted that “When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe.” This is a variant of an authentic quotation from Papers of Thomas Jefferson, 12:442; Context: 1787 December 20. (To James Madison). “I think our governments will remain virtuous for many centuries; as long as they are chiefly agricultural; and this will be as long as there shall be vacant lands in any part of America. When they get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, they will become corrupt as in Europe.”
I can’t help laughing because anyone watching the evolving unconstitutional corruption, and who even suggested dividing California was considered crazy. So darned unfunny…
Once upon a time (over 60 years ago) there was a place known as The Republic of North California located on Banner Mountain. It was a ten acre farm. The occupants wanted to protect their natural born, inalienable rights to survive and be let alone…because of the moral decay and corruption taking place on America’s Judicial system that conflicted with the original intent of America’s Constitution and Bill of Rights. They even predicted there would be hundreds of homeless people addicted to drugs living wherever they could survive.

    IG Report
This ain’t even getting to the meat. Just nibbling on the edges.
“The harm caused by leaks, fear of potential leaks, and a culture of unauthorized media contacts is illustrated in Chapters Ten and Eleven of our report, where we detail the fact that these issues influenced FBI officials who were advising Comey on consequential investigative decisions in October 2016,” the report states.
The IG is forceful in its opinion that the problem with leaking is not “with the FBI’s policy, which we found to be clear and unambiguous.” Instead, the leaking phenomenon “appears to be a cultural attitude among many in the organization.”
According to charts provided in the IG report, one reporter had contact with 12 FBI officials, including an FBI executive and unit chief.
Another reporter contacted an assistant director 21 times and a special agent 23 times, according to the IG. Some FBI employees were in contact with multiple reporters, with one special agent contacting various journalists 32 times.
    http://dailycaller.com/2018/06/14/ig-report-fbi-agents-bribed-journalists/
Free handouts? We used to call that bribes. Funny, none of those leaks were pro-Trump or anti-Hillary. Boy, they were really ratching it up by October, 2016. Funny, Jan. 05, 2017 came up again….the date referred to by Susan Rice’s CYA e-mail….but the IG report did not touch on that or her or…the Fisca or the Dossier or working with former British spies and those with ties to the Russians or the mole or. Nope.
The punishment just dished out by our current FBI Director is to make thousands upon thousands of every single honest FBI agent (and the few bad apples) take some kind of Starbucks training…bias training I reckon.
The report mentioned bias multiple times, despite Chucky’s talking points. The term political bias was not used. So, bias against Jews, Muslims, Gays, Christians? What other bias should it be? Peter’s texts were biased, but not political bias, ROFLMAO.
Oh yeah, in the IG’s report, in the IG’s own words, Comey “USURPTED” the experienced prosecutors….no Grand Hury empaneled, no indictments, nothing to see here…..procecuters.
Oh course, that decision was made it the Spribg of 2016, months before the FBI interviewed My Gal for two hours. No transcript of that interview necessary, boys.
Just think. If Hillary had won, were would not have known anything about the press’s role in this. Not a beep. They, too, put ideology ahead of country. That’s why the media, the FBI, and the Clinton camp all sound the same. It’s cause they were and are.
The question no one asks or cares to look into is where was Obama during all this? Why didn’t he fire Comey? Where was Lynch during all this and Yates? All this was going under Obama’s watch. Why did Obama do nothing to stop the Russians from hacking? Why didn’t Obama do anything to confront the Russians?
No bias in the report Chucky said, lying through his teeth, but maybe this Administration weaponized the FBI. That’s where all the anti-Trump leaks were coming from. They (FBI) were the ones that knew and got some good event tickets from the NYT, Wa Compost, and CNN. Sweet.

The post-summit transformation of North Korea’s official version of Trump, who’s now being shown by state media looking serious and almost regal, underscores the carefully choreographed reality show the government has had to orchestrate. The goal: to keep its people, taught from childhood to hate and distrust the “American imperialists,” ideologically on board with seismic shifts in the relationship with Washington

Chucky says no political bias in report. Again, what kind of other bias could it be? The job was to protect Hillary and more importantly, Barack Hussein Obama and still is. The story that Hillary lost the election and the Dems ideology was rejected by the voters is a story that must not ever see the light of day.
The only victim of Collusion and obstruction of justice here appears to be Donald Trump. Remember, Peter was not just any ole agent. He was the top agent investigating the e-mail probe and the top counterillenigence agent on Meuller’s team.
“In the course of its 18-month investigation, Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s staff also unearthed thousands of controversial text messages exchanged between Federal Bureau of Investigation personnel that disparaged Mr. Trump. The inspector general said his office was “deeply troubled” by the messages, which “potentially indicated or created the appearance that investigative decisions were impacted by bias or improper considerations.” ——Toes sez:[see, the Dems are right! Does not say political bias!!!]
However, he said the report was flawed “in its bizarre conclusion” that the inspector general couldn’t rule out that bias may have affected his handling of the emails on the Weiner laptop. He noted that “Special Agent Strzok openly admitted that he believed that the Russia investigation was far more important to American national security than the Clinton email investigation, this conclusion is evidence of Special Agent Strzok’s lucidity, not his bias.”
    from Dr. Rebane’s update.
    https://www.wsj.com/articles/doj-report-on-clinton-email-probe-1528935441
See, no bias! Chucky is right. It’s not bias, it’s lucidity. Kinda like wiping it with a cloth, I reckon. Nothing to see here. Look, I see Russians over yonder…look over there!

    1) From CNN 6 takeaways from the IG Report:
“The inspector general’s report Thursday solidified that Clinton had not intended to break the law with her handling of classified material on her private email, by exhaustively detailing the steps of the investigation.
Despite other issues with Comey, the IG signs off on his ultimate conclusion that Clinton should not be charged.”
    2). From the IG report:
“Comey’s unilateral announcement was inconsistent with Department policy, usurped the authority of Attorney General, and did not accurately describe the legal position of the Department prosecutors,”
    I report, you decide.
