   Even Democrats begrudgingly tell us North Korea would not be returning hostages and talking denuclearization absent Trump’s mad-man routine. The stilted, scripted, sclerotic ways of tradition are not always terribly effective tactics.
   Some might call that grudging praise for Trump, and yet it’s still praise—and at the same time, it’s surely a sharp criticism of the pre-Trump policy status quo.

    Overlooked last week was this 7-2 SCOTUS ruling.
    ….this case asked whether or not a state government may ban voters from wearing “Don’t Tread on Me” t-shirts at the polls. By a vote of 7-2, the Supreme Court held that the First Amendment trumps the state law.
    During the February 28 oral arguments, the lawyer representing Minnesota elections official Joe Mansky admitted that the state could even ban voters from wearing t-shirts that feature nothing else but the text of the Second Amendment. His reasoning? The amendment’s language “could be viewed as political.”
    “How about the First Amendment?” asked Justice Samuel Alito, prompting laughter in the courtroom. The law’s fate was pretty much sealed at that point. Banning voters from wearing First Amendment t-shirts would certainly seem to qualify as an overly broad restriction on freedom of speech.

    Indeed! Obama was lauded as a “Git her done” sort of guy by all the “right” people! I suspect that in his heart of hearts Punch felt this as well. I also wonder if Punch was troubled by the executive powers wielded by the last democratic president…..“…..stroke of the pen, law of the land” as explained by Clinton apologist Paul “I’ve got a forehead you could project a movie on” Begala. Again, even though we will be told repeatedly that he didn’t vote for that Clinton either I doubt the dictator question ever crossed his mind!

    Although I wasn’t a Trump supporter during the campaign (INSERT DENIAL OF VOTING FOR TRUMP HERE) ironically I too met with a Russian national just this morning at Raleys over coffee. No MAGA hat thank god….that would have been a dead giveaway that…..let’s call him Peter…..was up to no good and certainly trying to influence…..err…..something! Perhaps Medicare (He showed me photos of his 89 year old mother)….or maybe farm policy (he was bragging, quite rightly about the beautiful purple garlic he grew in his garden).
    Punchy you would be well within your rights as an upright and vigilant American to call the FBI immediately and report a subversive in your midst.

    Punch has voluntarily decided to to carry the banner for progressivism …..err…..Green Libertarianism™ which is why we continue to heap opprobrium upon those narrow shoulders of his! He really brings it on himself!
    Frankly I’m a little surprised that he persists, he isn’t changing any minds here and would likely find a warmer reception at the Buffet Molesters site!
    PS: Again I note since her outburst in the courtroom we have seen far less of the notorious poster “jon smith”. Kudos to Mr. Juvinall for perceptively identifying her a few weeks ago!
