[Bolton’s chief of staff Fred Fleitz is drawing fire for co-authoring (with 15 others) a report on Islamic radicalism in the US which claims that “80% of U.S. mosques were incubators for subversion or violence” and that the real war with Islam is “in reality a clash of civilizations.” (Whoulda thought?!)  But no one is drawing fire for spreading the blatant socialism now rampant across the land which is a demonstrated harbinger of totalitarian governance, examples of which have killed tens of millions in the 20th century and continue to do so today.  Go figger.  gjr]

Its time for Daily Quotes. Let’s look at our political world at this moment in time.
For the record: “You ready for this? This is the latest from Rasmussen public polling surveys. Black voters are nearly twice as likely, 28%, to say young black Americans are better off now than they were in the closing year of Obama’s presidency. … That could be big, folks.” —Rush Limbaugh
A blind squirrel finds a nut: “We had never heard anything like this about a president in the White House, in the Oval Office, in the United States. And I believe that [Bill Clinton] set the bar very low.” —Joy Behar
Regrets — she’s had a few (but only a few): “A lot of people were offended and angry that I used an epithet to describe the president’s daughter last week. It is a word I have used on the show many times trying to reclaim it. This time I used it as an insult. I crossed the line. I regret it and I do apologize for that. … Many men were also offended by my use of the word. I do not care about that.” —Samantha Bee
Greasing the political skids: “It concerns me that so many voices within the Democratic Party are going so far to the left. I say to myself, ‘How are we going to pay for these things?’ in terms of things like single payer [and] people espousing the fact that the government is going to give everyone a job. I don’t think that’s realistic.” —outgoing Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz
Midterm forgiveness-seeking: “[Backing Hillary Clinton] was a mistake. It was a mistake politically.” —Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV)
Race bait: “The national anthem is problematic in and of itself.” —CNN’s Angela Rye
Non Compos Mentis: “The Trump Administration policy of taking children from their families is immoral. We as a nation are better than this.” —former Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards, who oversaw the killing of nearly four million children
And last… “The problem with discourse in our society is not that it is hostile or partisan or divisive. The problem is that it is so fantastically stupid. Willful, gleeful stupidity is the primary thing preventing us from having any kind of fruitful dialogue.” —Matt Walsh

There’s no question about that, and it’s an exciting time for me.”

Fair enough Mr. Broadman. I must stop saying that when Washington crossed the Delaware on Dec 26, 1776, he defeated the Hussians who were sent to guard the outposts on the edges away from the British regulars. I should say in the future that Washington crossed the Delaware on 26,1776 and his troops were ready at 4:00am to attack soldiers under Lord Cornwallis’s command. There. All fixed.
For all the folklore, only 3 “Americans” (British subjects to be more precise) were killed in the surprise attack, albeit the British lost 22 of their “Hussein” soldiers with 98 Husseins wounded. 1,000 soldiers were captured that morning, all of them Husseins….which, we all know where under a commander who was far far away.

“Our government agreed not to stamp the passports of some of them because they were on transit flights for two hours, and they were resuming their flights without having their passports stamped. However their movements were under the complete supervision of the Iranian intelligence,” Larijani was quoted as saying.
The remarks represent the first time senior Iranian officials have publicly admitted to aiding al Qaeda and playing a direct role in facilitating the 9/11 attacks.
The U.S. government has long accused Iran of playing a role in the attacks and even fined the Islamic Republic billions as a result. The U.S. 9/11 Commission assembled to investigate the attacks concluded that Iran played a role in facilitating the al Qaeda terrorists.
Larijani admitted that Iranian officials did not stamp the passports of the al Qaeda militants in order to obfuscate their movements and prevent detection by foreign governments. Al Qaeda operative also were given safe refuge in Iran.
“The Americans took this as evidence of Iran’s cooperation with al-Qaeda and viewed the passage of an airplane through Iran’s airspace, which had one of the pilots who carried out the attacks and a Hezbollah military leader sitting [next to] him on board, as evidence of direct cooperation with al-Qaeda through the Lebanese Hezbollah,” Larijani was quoted as saying in the May 30 interview, which is gaining traction on social media.

A conspiracy I tell, the master plan, the coup de main, Destroy the Democratic party –
He does it by freeing the Johnsons – freeing the history of Jack and commuting the sentence of Alice.
Anyone who thinks that Trump didn’t gain some black votes by those actions last week doesn’t understand the power of connecting with the disconnected.
In Detroit, and other urban areas – where we can’t get more than 14 to 20 percent of registered voters to turn out for an election – and where many people still love Kanye West whether he thinks slavery was a choice or R. Kelly, who is escaping jail by inexplicable means – Trump may be resonating.
And now he’s considering pardoning Muhammad Ali, who doesn’t need his support, but that won’t stop Trump from claiming that he saved his reputation.
Donald Trump is succeeding at something few people thought possible. He is getting some black people to compare him to Barack Obama. Obama didn’t get Alice Johnson out of jail. Obama didn’t pardon Jack, even though Ken Burns asked him to and produced an entire documentary explaining why.
Donald Trump isn’t killing the Republican Party.
He is killing the Democratic Party.

First, we burned York, not Toronto, shit for brains. Canada is a threat because they want to continue laying a 25% tariff on our goods and services while demanding we continue applying a 2% tariff on their goods. That’s why they are a threat. They are a threat to fairness. It’s not fair. Oh, the Canooks can scream to high heaven, and stomp their feet, and pound their spoons just like you did over when the GVPD took your camera away and would not give the evidence of the crime back when you wanted them to. Spoiled kids act that way. Fair trade. They will do just fine without the USA…right. They can take their business elsewhere if they don’t like it. As Bill Clinton said about affirmative action, mend it, don’t end it. Same with NAFTA. Free trade does not mean fair trade. If they don’t like it, they can make deals with Cuba and Honduras and Greenland.
Now France without the USA, they won’t do so well. We hold the cards, not them. That Frenchy is also throwing his food and having a temper tantrum. All good things must come to an end.
Shocking to even think of putting America First. All other considerations are secondary.
We believe in fair play. They want things to stay the way they are. They will come around once they figure the game is no longer rigged in their favor.

    No cost to taxpayers!
The package, which will sell off government debt assets and split the money between deficit reduction and infrastructure spending, would cost taxpayers nothing–as it would transition wasteful government assets into serving as a revenue-raising tool.
The concept is that the bill, per a draft press release obtained by Breitbart News, “would require the Department of Agriculture to sell their distressed debt assets and the proceeds will be distributed between funding much needed infrastructure projects across the country and further paying down U.S. national debt.” The release draft says:
Currently, federal agencies hold more than $2 trillion in debt and lease asset. The sale of a portion of these assets, if expedited, could raise a significant amount of money.

Walt, yep, progressivism and the Constitution cannot exist in the same space. In fact, the biggest threat to progressives is the US Constitution and for good reason. Consider England. It’s against the law to report on the Muslim trial of the rape of hundreds of innocent children in Merry ole England. That apparently isn’t good enough for them. Now it is against the law to report on the guy arrested for reporting on the Muslim rape of hundreds of innocent children in Merry ole England. Like Seattle, let’s block it out.
Socialism has always viewed free speech as a threat to not socialism….but a threat to overlords and tryrants who control socialism. Ever since Trump got elected, even Seattle cowgirls get the blues.

    Its the economy stupid!
The share who say they are “very satisfied” with the economy is way up. In 2014, only two to four percent said they were very satisfied. This number rose to six percent in 2015 and was at eight percent in April of 2017, three months after Trump took office. In January of this year, 21 percent said they were very satisfied. This held steady at 20 percent in the most recent poll. These are both the highest very satisfied scores since March 2000.
On the other end of the scale, far fewer Americans are “very dissatisfied” with the economy. Two years ago, 29 percent of Americans were very dissatisfied, according to the Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll. In the most recent poll, just 12 percent are. The most recent figure is the lowest dissatisfaction share since January 2001.

No more beauty in beauty pageant contests anymore? What, are we stuck with looking at pictures of Susan B Anothony, Bella Abzug, and listening to speeches by Ruth Ginsberg?
“If you hadn’t noticed, physical beauty is a huge part of our economy and our culture. And before you go on about this showing how sexist or “lookist” American society is, physical beauty is a huge part of literally every culture on earth and has been for all time. Notions of beauty are fluid, sure, but the interest in beauty — or desirability — itself is an expression of human nature. Can it go too far? Absolutely. Can you get rid of it? Nope.
Moreover, this is not because it’s a “man’s world.” The glossy women’s magazines are run by women and read by women. The beauty industry is valued at more than $400 billion, and the average woman spends $15,000 on beauty products over her lifetime.
Now, some feminists might claim this is because the patriarchy imposes norms and standards that women feel compelled to follow to get ahead in business and society. I guess there’s some truth to this to the extent that many women want to be attractive to men. But guess what? That’s always been true everywhere. It’s also true that many men want to be attractive to women. If you have a problem with that, take it up with Darwin.”

What are you babbling about now Doug M Peloski? First, the Presidential Residence was never called the White House until after at least it was torched 1814 and had to be whitewashed over because the Canook mercenaries (not the Mochicans, nor the British regulars who occupied and burned DC)….but after the Canook Mercenaries torched the Presidential Residence. It’s quite a point of semi-polite hidden smile with a flash of humorous pride when the Canooks retell the story to the children in the one room school houses out in the pararie..and in the wine country, and the Southwest (Vancouver) and the Rockies and London, Ontario and…. You’ve heard the old song they sing about it, eh? You haven’t sang that around the campfire? Hmmmm.
But, that ain’t THE POINT? That ain’t nothing to do with anything. Are you that dense? 1814, Canada is a security threat (ROFLMAO)….none of that. I can’t believe it. You are that dense. Unbelievable.
Ok, I’ll mansplain it to ya, but just once. A teachable moment. It’s all about NAFTA. Redo it, or each man for himself. Who is Mexico’s biggest trading partner? Who is Canada’s biggest trading partner? USA! Now, who is getting screwed? USA! and the American worker. You know, those former blue collar democrats….the working man and single mom. Now, what’s wrong with this picture? What’s wrong with this picture since we are holding the high hand? Why are we getting screwed? Riddle me that, Boy Wonder.

That is exactly what that wise crack answer Trump gave to Justin when Justin seriously wanted Trump to explain to him on the phone what did Trump meant by Canada being a national security threat. “I dunno, didn’t you guys burn the White House in 1812?” ROFLMAO.
Translation: calm down, I will see ya in a couple of days. Heard Justin peed his shorts.

Those ‘fact’ check sites are a crack-up. It’s like using the $PLC as your litmus test of suitability.
Besides the sketchy back story on Snopes, I’ve always loved the name. It’s absolutely perfect. That is, if you’ve read Faulkner.

    Walt,
The afflicted ones have already spun that poll yesterday. They say that spells gloom and doom for the R’s and gives a much needed moral boost to the Blue Ripple cause Obama lost the House in his first mid-term with similar numbers, lol. Oh, man, hope burns eternal. When life gives you lemons…..
The ladies look better in red.

Saw this and thought of that quote by Maddog when asked what keeps him up at night. He answered “Nothing. I keep other people up at night.” It’s not nice to diss the Warrior Monk.
And now, in my best Paul Harvey impersonation, “The rest of the story…”

Looks like the Warrior Monk has free rent in his head.
