[We kinda skipped over the initiative to let California's illegal aliens hold seats on state boards and commissions.  And none of the Left have answered the concern about what will become of America if everyone who presents themselves at our border, and declares that their own country is not fit to live in, is granted asylum.  And this especially since they will be standing in either Canada or Mexico, neither of which threatens them harm.  The Left's position is understandable – 'who cares, let 'em in because that will speed up the fundamental transformation of America.'  Did you note that none of the Dem governor candidates would even consider this in their promotion of open borders?  gjr]

What was also disconcerting was that the reporter from The Union asked the people that used to live at our house for whom they voted for president in 2016?! How is that relevant to anything? Ballots are going to the wrong residences in Nevada County. What does that have to do with Clinton or Trump? Anyway…we’ll see what happens. I am sure that it is not an isolated incident. With ballots being mailed to people who usually vote in person, there are going to be a ton of problems…good job Diaz.

M, what are you smoking this morning? The NCAAP President is a friggin liar. No other way to slice it or dice it . Oh, how many good looking black dudes in suits in a nice Mercedes with grandma abroad you see driving around Nevada County at night being pulled over? Racial profiling, lol. Read what the lying piece of liberal crap said publicly. Guess it’s all ok that the liar, lia, liar told big fat whoppers because it’s a clear case of racial profiling, ROFLMAO.
I see a lot of folks rolling stop signs, failing to use turn indicators, etc. Just don’t do that when there is a police car in the rear view mirror. Now, if I was driving a car through GV or NC and was pulled over and the cops found out my tags were for a GMC truck, they might tell me to get out, grab what I could carry, and call for a ride home…while the tow truck was enroute. Or issue me a fix it ticket to show proper registration.
Speaking of liars, this is nothing new.
“Two hijackers later sought medical help due to conditions consistent with infection via anthrax: Al Haznawi went to the emergency room for a skin lesion which he claimed was from “bumping into a suitcase,” and ringleader Mohamed Atta needed medicine for “skin irritation.” A team of bioterrorism experts from Johns Hopkins confirmed that anthrax was the most likely cause of the lesion. Meanwhile, the 9/11 hijackers were also trying to obtain crop-dusting airplanes………”

Wouldn’t be something if Trump declassified all of the star crossed lovers’ texts? It would be like a day by day, hour by hour insight into the depths of corruption and depravity of the noble Loretta Lynch DOJ and John Kerry.
“But all that aside, it may not be necessary to pry into informant files in order to find answers to the most pressing questions. Those answers may be found in the thousands of Strzok-Page texts. These provide a day-to-day narrative of the goings-on in the Clinton-emails and Trump-Russia investigations by two of the highest, most plugged-in officials in the government…….
Strzok and Page are singularly well-informed, central players in the Clinton and Trump investigations. They tell us exactly what is going on and why — or at least they would if the Justice Department had not blacked out key parts of their running conversation.
But why are they so heavily redacted? The Justice Department and FBI have blocked out passages — sometimes, several exchanges at a time — that would provide context for the key decisions and actions taken by government officials. And while the names of high-ranking FBI officials who figure constantly in the texts have, for the most part, been revealed, the names of Justice Department, White House, intelligence, and other government officials have been withheld.
    https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/05/strzok-page-texts-trump-russia-investigation-origins/
We don’t need no stinkin’ document ya. Just declassify all the texts. Simple.

Hey Barry, here is todays latest screw up by Diaz –
The Nevada County elections office has mailed additional information to voters after learning some people didn’t receive any documentation about Measure D, authorities said.
The omission affects no sample or official ballots for the Grass Valley school bond measure. Instead the information is missing from voter information guides only, elections officials said.
“We deeply regret this error and any inconvenience to affected voters,” a release states.

Not saying racial profiling does not exist, but 2 older studies (New Jersey and North Carolina) strongly suggest that blacks in a 65 mph zone are more likely to speed over 90 mph than whites. If I am going 71 in a 65, I am less likely to get the attention of a CHP or a State Patrol than if I am cruising along at 90 mph, no matter what race I am. Excess speed is unsafe driving in the police’s eyes. Reckless driving kinda takes LE’s discretion out of the equation of whether you will get pulled over, and pedal to the metal will get ya a big fat expensive fine.
    Racial profiling of drivers.
“In response, the troopers asked the attorney general to do the unthinkable: study speeding on the turnpike. If it turned out that all groups drive the same, as the reigning racial-profiling myths hold, they’d accept the consequences.
Well, we now know that the troopers were merely doing their jobs. According to the study commissioned by the New Jersey Attorney General (and leaked to The New York Times), blacks make up 16 percent of the drivers on the turnpike, and 25 percent of the speeders in the 65-mph zones, where profiling complaints are most common.
They speed twice as much as whites, and speed at reckless levels even more. Yet blacks are stopped less than their speeding behavior would predict — 23 percent of all stops.
The devastation wrought by this study to the anti-police agenda is catastrophic. It turns out that the police stop blacks more for speeding because they speed more. Race has nothing to do with it.”
    https://www.manhattan-institute.org/html/profiling-myth-smashed-1513.html
In the southern segment of the turnpike, where the speed limit is 65 m.p.h., 2.7 percent of black drivers were speeders, compared with 1.4 percent of white drivers. Among drivers going faster than 90 m.p.h., the disparity was even greater.
By contrast, blacks were no more likely to speed than whites when the limit was 55 m.p.h. In those geographical segments of the turnpike, 13.1 percent of black drivers were speeders, compared with 13.5 percent of white drivers.
    https://www.nytimes.com/2002/03/21/nyregion/study-suggests-racial-gap-in-speeding-in-new-jersey.html
Only read the first 78 pages of this 48 report. Found out Afro-Americans are more like.y to drive at night than whites. Many variables to Driving While Black, even variances on intersecting highways. Interesting.

So the slow spiral begins –
President Trump’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani, told Fox News on Wednesday that special counsel Robert Mueller has told the president’s legal team he will follow Justice Department guidance and not seek an indictment against Trump.
Giuliani, himself a former federal prosecutor and mayor of New York City, also told Fox News that Mueller’s investigators have not responded to five information requests from the president’s team. That has forced Trump’s legal team to push off making a decision about whether the president will sit for an interview with the special counsel — a decision they had hoped to reach by Thursday.
The precedent that federal prosecutors cannot indict a sitting president is laid out in a 1999 Justice Department memo. Giuliani told Fox News that Mueller has no choice but to follow its guidance.
“This case is essentially over,” Giuliani said. “They’re just in denial.”

The head viper of the FBI cabal has lost all street cred –
Fired FBI Director James Comey skipped a Wednesday closed-door Senate Intelligence Committee hearing, where top current and former Intelligence Community officials reviewed conclusions about Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.
Former CIA Director John Brennan, Former National Security Agency Director Admiral Mike Rogers, and Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper attended the hearing.
Comey’s decision not to attend the hearing on Russian interference comes as credibility issues mount for the fired FBI Director, who is still on a media tour promoting his book A Higher Loyalty.
In the House Intelligence Committee’s unredacted report on Russian meddling released May 4th, fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe alleged to House members that Comey initiated the “ambush,” of Former national security advisor Michael Flynn. Peter Strzok and a second FBI agent showed up unannounced at the White House to question Flynn.

They kept it secret from all departments in the FBI and possibly Comey, feeding him tidbits later. Crossfire Hurricane. It was a rogue cabal to exonerate Hillary and all about ambushing Trump. There are too many contradictions and spin in the NYT’s piece, but it’s there. Full of phony pretexts. Sounds like a spoon fed piece to protect Peter Strzok and the heavy hands behind him. It was Sally Yates who signed the first warrant. That Obama political hack Yates.

That’s a no brainer. I have been saying for over two months that Meuller cannot indict Trump. A no brainer…..unless Meuller violates the Special Counsel statute and it’s bounds placed upon the DOJ. The 72 guidance is unassailable as well as the 1999 memo and another 2003 guidance from the DOJ’s legal office that consults the Executive Branch on Constitutional matters.

Here’s how. To improve their ability to compete for federal education grants during the Great Recession, states had to get their university systems to agree to not remediate students who passed Common Core exams. This is how Common Core deceptively achieved its public promise of getting all students “college and career-ready.” State higher education systems simply agreed to allow Common Core to define what constitutes college-ready. Take out definition, insert Common Core. Presto.
One problem with that: Common Core does not require enough math for students to actually be ready for college-level classes, especially for those who intend to major in math-related fields. In order for all students to actually be able to meet Common Core’s standards, those standards had to be set at a level that most everyone can achieve without major genuine curricular improvement. In other words, low.

Looks like the honeymoon is over, if it was ever on or was it the sanctions? –
On May 4, the planned investment by the Chinese company CEFC China Energy into Russian state oil giant Rosneft fell apart, eight months after it was first announced. The tie-up’s failure reveals the strict limits on the potential for energy cooperation between China — which is in the process of taking ownership of CEFC — and Russia, and with it a broader political alliance between the two countries.
Beijing has come to view Rosneft more as a tool of the Russian state than a traditional oil company, and to the extent the two countries don’t share political priorities, China has little interest in any significant economic relationship. Although China is actively searching for new political and economic partners around the world, it seems to have decided the Russian government is too risky a political investment.

    Oh Jerusalem
Keep in mind, the past four Democratic Party platforms had called for the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. And last June, the Senate voted 90-0 (with the support of Feinstein, Murphy and Sanders) for a resolution that “reaffirms the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995,” which mandated the embassy move (a bill that passed two decades ago with Pelosi’s vote). Americans see Trump being criticized for doing exactly what Congress demanded, and his Democratic and Republican predecessors promised, and they rightly see hypocrisy.
No matter what Trump does, the Democratic reaction is the same: Outrage. When Democrats can’t even praise Trump unreservedly for bringing American hostages home or show up when he fulfills a plank of the Democratic Party platform by moving our embassy to Jerusalem, it further convinces millions of Americans who abandoned the Democratic Party in 2016 that they made the right decision.
    https://patriotpost.us/opinion/55983-to-understand-why-trump-won-look-at-democratic-hysteria
Interesting to note The Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 is a public law of the United States as the law was adopted by the Senate (93–5), and the House (374–37). Also interesting that not one single Democrat attended the ceremony in Jerusalem. Reminds me of the Dems sitting on their hands at the SOTUS…especially the frowns on the Democrat Black Caucus when Trump announced the lowest Black unemployment in our history, lol It’s what haters do…and it’s what everyone else sees.

    Walter Willams on Kanye
“Kanye West is not saying anything different from what Dr. Thomas Sowell, Larry Elder, Jason Riley, I and other black libertarians/conservatives have been saying for decades. In fact, West has tweeted quotations from Sowell, such as “Socialism in general has a record of failure so blatant that only an intellectual could ignore or evade it” and “The most basic question is not what is best but who shall decide what is best.” Tweeting those Sowell quotations represents the highest order of blasphemy in the eyes of leftists.
The big difference between black libertarians/conservatives and West is that he has 28 million Twitter followers and a huge audience of listeners whereas few blacks have even heard of libertarian/conservative blacks outside of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. (I might add in passing that Dr. Thomas Sowell is one of the nation’s most distinguished and accomplished scholars alive today)”

Hey, great news, everybody! Coal ships will be sailing from Oakland in the near future as the City of Oakland lost in court.
