[We kinda skipped over the initiative to let California's illegal aliens hold seats on state boards and commissions. And none of the Left have answered the concern about what will become of America if everyone who presents themselves at our border, and declares that their own country is not fit to live in, is granted asylum. And this especially since they will be standing in either Canada or Mexico, neither of which threatens them harm. The Left's position is understandable – 'who cares, let 'em in because that will speed up the fundamental transformation of America.' Did you note that none of the Dem governor candidates would even consider this in their promotion of open borders? gjr]

“It’s a very big concern,” Democratic pollster Celinda Lake, told TheHill. “The economy is the No. 1 issue out there for people and right now Trump has a very aggressive economic message that seems to cross traditional party lines to voters.”
“Democrats right now, we’re going up to bat and we’re not even looking to hit,” Lehane added about the messaging. “We’re hoping to get hit by the pitcher so we can walk to first base.”

George Soros has his fingers in a lot of pies –
Conveniently, however, Soros’s involvement also allows him to back prosecutors who might be particularly motivated to target Republican officials.
Soros-backed St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner in Missouri, for example, targeted Republican Gov. Eric Greitens, who was recently indicted and may soon be impeached.

I started looking at links to EMPs observed during nuclear testing and very quickly becamed overhwelmed by the examples. I guess Wiki is as good a place as any to start https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_electromagnetic_pulse

jon@3:12 PM Well that is the problem Wiki regurgitates all the EMP myths, the book examines how the myths got started and who promoted the myths and why. Read the Sandia Report, written 27 years after the event, on evidence of EMP found. The Russian event was a generator fire, one of many.
Here is a link to a summary: https://www.lewrockwell.com/2018/02/david-hathaway/emp-hoax/
The pre-ordained EMP conclusion is completely false because A) Any electrical failures were statistically insignificant and do not indicate mass-damage, B) The study was completely flawed in that it reviewed no data, C) The shoddy street lighting circuitry in Honolulu at the time was prone to failures that had nothing to do with EMP, and D) The EMP theory itself is theoretically impossible.
The total number of worldwide nuclear detonations is 2,476. No mass EMP damage has ever occurred from any of them. Yet, we are still required to tremble at the thought of a nuclear EMP.
Proving widespread damage to civilian systems is key to obtaining funding for EMP research. Civilians pay the taxes, so they must be in fear.
This is global warming all over again, make up a problem out of thin air and then spend billions trying to fix the myth.

Russ @ 11:35 AM-
In the late 1980s, I worked for a year with the U.S. Navy analyzing, designing & testing methods for reducing EMP effects on their ships. I was one of a veritable herd of engineers who were funded by the military to study EMP then.
A 1987 paper by Dr. Mario Rabinowitz (unlike Phil Daro, Mario actually got a PhD in Physics) was an interesting read at the time, and became a valuable reference for me. A quick check on the internet shows that he updated his report in 2003. And he was still working for EPRI, with HQ in Palo Alto. You can download a .pdf copy of his paper at arXiv:physics/0307127 [physics.soc-ph] – “Effect of the FAST NUCLEAR ELECTROMAGNETIC PULSE on the Electric Power Grid Nationwide: A Different View”. He is now retired from Stanford’s SLAC lab.
His conclusion: “Based upon the analyses presented in this paper and in Refs. [7-8], it appears highly improbable if not impossible that the EMP from a single nuclear burst could blackout this nation’s power grid….A single nuclear device exploded at high altitude will not render vital electrical services inoperable across the entire United States as has been suggested in many media references.”
The paper is a little technical. Well, actually, it’s a LOT technical. But I read his 1987 report (with the same conclusions) and I simply ignored any EMP hysteria since then, based on how he presented his math & results. Evidently, no one else reads his papers.

A little tidbit for those idiots that think a blue wave is coming. From the HILL.
“The DNC has $7.5 million on hand, after a string of losses to Republicans in special congressional elections, including the race for Georgia’s 6th District, which broke fundraising records to become the most expensive congressional race. The RNC has $44.7 million in cash-on-hand, according to the filings. ”
And it will only get worse. Donors love winners and they especially like those holding the power. And what party might that be across America?

It’s a wee bit early to start making predictions. Sure, at times the generic Blue Wave may look like a blue ripple, but remember those Socialist PAC dollars will be coming in after the primaries. Nobody gives to the DNC anymore. Even Obama and Hillary have their funds earmarked for hit jobs on R’s, not the DNC. It’s an globistist thang to do nowadays.
Right now this is the only Blue Wave I focus on.

Bonus: Gina may get some help from Dem Senators that are fighting for their jobs in reddish states. Doug Jones, too?
Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., the ranking Democrat on the Intelligence Committee, was eyed as one Democrat who may vote for her, as well as Angus King, I-Maine. Other Democrats in play are Sens. Doug Jones, D-Ala.; Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D.; Bill Nelson, D-Fla.; and Claire McCaskill, D-Mo.

Strangely – Bloomberg forgot to mention that he is a politician.
So – is Bloomberg 7 or 6?
When Carter said he would “never lie”, my father snorted right out – “that’s the first lie”.
Every POTUS in history has lied.
But it seems to only upset the left when a Republican lies. They get so red in the face it would be funny if not sad.

A: 100% of Green Libertarian policy was based on catching and holding the executive branch of the US government. Without that, it all falls apart.

Thankyou. Keep up the good diggin. Many arrows pointed to the British, more specially GCHQ, just from scouring over media reporting in 3/17. To get Trump, MSM left bread crumbs and broken twigs along the trail.
“Fox News Senior Judicial Analyst, Judge Andrew Napolitano, who said GCHQ was involved in wiretapping Trump, has also vindicated. Fox News owes Napolitano an apology for yanking him off the air for a week for making that “controversial” and now-verified assertion.”
https://www.aim.org/special-report/british-role-confirmed-in-trump-spying-scandal/
The director of GCHQ, Robert Hannigan, is to stand down early for personal reasons, mainly health issues involving his wife and other family members.
Hannigan only took over at the UK’s surveillance agency in November 2014 to oversee a more open approach after revelations by the National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden put GCHQ on the defensive in 2013.
His sudden resignation – he informed staff just hours before making this decision public – prompted speculation that it might be related to British concerns over shared intelligence with the US in the wake of Donald Trump becoming president.

GCHQ merely declined to comment on the latest claims. A spokesman said: “It is long-standing policy that we do not comment on intelligence matters.”
According to The Guardian, the FBI and the CIA were slow to pick up on the extent of the contacts between Mr Trump’s team and the Russians in the run-up to last year’s presidential election – in part because US law bans them from monitoring the private communications of US citizens without a warrant.
Donald Trump last month alleged that Barack Obama had illegally “wiretapped” him
“It looks like the (US) agencies were asleep,” The Guardian quoted one source as saying. “They (the European agencies) were saying: ‘There are contacts going on between people close to Mr Trump and people we believe are Russian intelligence agents. You should be wary of this.’
“The message was: ‘Watch out. There’s something not right here.’”
GCHQ’s then head, Robert Hannigan, was said to have passed material directly to CIA chief John Brennan in the summer of 2016.
After what was said to be a slow start, Mr Brennan used the intelligence to launch a major inter-agency investigation.
A number of inquiries are now under way in Washington into Trump campaign officials and Moscow, including an FBI-led counter-espionage investigation and inquiries by both the House and Senate intelligence committees.

Until now, it was as if Republicans had resigned themselves to the inevitable expansion of the regulatory state and their powerlessness to curb it, much less reverse it. But refreshingly, Trump, with his newness to politics, has shown that he isn’t paralyzed by such assumptions. He is eradicating regulations at an unprecedented pace and has reversed some of the more egregious Obama power abuses, such as the Environmental Protection Agency’s draconian carbon emission standards that he crammed through.
I also reject that he’s damaging the Republican brand. For the most part, he has not promoted a so-called populist agenda as some feared but is gravitating more every day toward mainstream conservatism. Talking about conservatism doesn’t enhance the brand nearly so much as action, and we’re seeing a lot of action.

“Liberals are trapped in a self-reinforcing cycle. When they use their positions in American culture to lecture, judge and disdain, they push more people into an opposing coalition that liberals are increasingly prone to think of as deplorable. That only validates their own worst prejudices about the other America.
Those prejudices will be validated even more if Mr. Trump wins re-election in 2020, especially if he wins a popular majority. That’s not impossible: The president’s current approval ratings are at 42 percent, up from just a few months ago.
Liberals are inadvertently making that outcome more likely. It’s not too late to stop.”

He reportedly dropped off his wife, Puji Kuswati, and their two daughters at Diponegoro Indonesian Christian Church, where they blew themselves up. The girls – aged 9 and 12 – had bombs strapped to them, as did their mother.
Futrianto then drove off, launching his own bomb-laden car into the grounds of Surabaya Centre Pentecostal Church, police said.
The sons – aged 16 and 18 – rode motorcycles into Santa Maria Catholic Church, and detonated explosives they were carrying. It was their attack that came first, at around 07:30 local time (00:30 GMT). The other two attacks followed five minutes apart, police said.
A security guard told the Associated Press news agency that the woman had arrived at the Diponegoro church carrying two bags, and forced her way inside ignoring the guards.
“Suddenly, she hugged a civilian, then [the bomb] exploded,” said the eyewitness, who identified himself as Antonius.

Walt. Happy Mother’s Day to your lovely bride. If Rainer blows, Seattle won’t have blue skies.
Silence…..con’t.
Or maybe it was one of our resident experts confusing the 400 million legal payment to Iran with the 1.7 billion clamshells we stacked on pallets so Iran could buy the goods to make nuke juice and afford to send 100,000 missles to Hezbollah. If Iran ever attacked us, we can say we paid for the ride. Iran has had weekly demonstrations for months now over the price of eggs and high cost of other staples. You weren’t dumb enough to think the Mullahs are going to buy food for the people, did ya? Nah. Flooding Israel’s border leading with angry Palestinians with Hamas terrorists slipping in behind as the Wall is breached ain’t cheap. Takes a lot of greenbacks, the preferred currency of the black market.
Or maybe it was the Schneiderman schnitzel story appearing just when the Leftists were about to reach their Stormy Story climax. Hate that when that happens. My rumors tell me he knew it was coming for a couple of months, but not the exact day or time. That story was stricken from the annuals of our dear Media quicker than any story ever told. It’s like it never happened. Gone in sixty seconds.
Whatever. Maybe they just got bored with it all. Sooner or later they will have to do a big introspection and see exactly what they stand for as a party. Up to 2016, the DNC and Dems have stuck by their story that their message is spot on, but their messaging just doesn’t get out. I can buy that. Or, as Obama said after his party taking another shellacking in 2014 (or was that 2012?), that he represents those who did not vote. Ok, you da man! In the end he did not represent enough voters.
Or, do what Punchy does and look at the National election results and declare victory because Nevada County is a blue county in a blue state, lol. Always a silver lining. He is quite the local man from the valley below..

Let’s count the Janus money before t the SCOTUS decision is published… estimates are CA will lose nearly 200,000 public employee union members… meaning the 600# gorillas haunting Sac will lose about $200MM a year in walkin’ ’round money.
The hemorrhaging will commence in a month or so.

Thomas Perez? Why does that name sound so familiar?
“Judicial Watch investigated and after suing the DOJ, obtained explosive documents that show Obama political appointees were intimately involved in the decision to dismiss the voter intimidation case against the Black Panthers. The documents directly contradict sworn testimony by Obama’s Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division, Thomas Perez, that no political leadership was involved in the decision.”
Putting Thomas Perez aside……
Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro says 59-year-old Thurman George, a machine inspector at Poll 43-7, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to frauds by election officers. George, along with three other election workers, was accused of harassment and intimidation against voters who wanted to vote for candidates of their choice, but not the candidate being pushed by the city’s Democratic Party machine.
George has been sentenced to five years probation and is prohibited from voting for four years.

Morris told host John Catsimatidis he believes “Democrats are overplaying their hand” by going after President Donald Trump for the Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels scandals, adding it will show in the 2018 elections.
“I think that [Democrats] see fool’s gold in these scandals,” Morris stated. “They’re putting everything behind the Stormy Daniels scandal and Michael Cohen … and the country doesn’t give a damn.”
He predicted, “There is no blue wave coming. There is a red wave. And what makes it red is the blood of the Democratic Party.”

”’Connections between the US president and Persian King Cyrus, recently strengthened by President Donald Trump’s landmark speech acknowledging Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Israel, have deep roots in Bible Codes and Biblical numerology which link both men to the coming of the Messiah.
President Trump is similar to Cyrus in a number of observable ways, rabbis and commentators have noted. Though separated by 2,500 years, both men rule the greatest nation of their respective eras. Cyrus, like Trump, was powerful and rich but not at all devout. And like Cyrus, Trump supports Jewish national aspirations. Now, a Messianic connection has come to light.
The mysterious ties between Trump, Cyrus, and the Messiah are revealed through two mystical methods of understanding the Torah. Hebrew numerology, known as Gematria, gives Hebrew letters and words numerical values which uncover hidden meanings, while Bible Codes search the Torah for secret patterns and connections.”’

“Donald Trump recognized history. He, like King Cyrus before him, fulfilled the biblical prophecy of the gods worshiped by Jews, Christians and, yes, Muslims, that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish state and that the Jewish people deserve a righteous, free and sovereign Israel,” Judge Jeanine Pirro argued in an op-ed in Fox News published on Sunday.
