You gust gotta love ” the unnamed congressman told Erickson.”
Let’s have names! LIB news loves unnamed sources. No accountability. They can say anything they please, and the likes of Paul, and “jon” lap it up like warm milk.

Great sources of strong news you follow Wally. Right next to your article I see that Todd is in good company as it is proved that Republicans are much more likely to cheat on their wives than dems. Well, it makes perfect sense that R’s would want sex only wiith other R’s. We ain’t into that form of sex with a human and a lower form of life, aka, beastiality. Once had sex with a liberal chick, but stopped myself from repeating the mistake when I found out later that necrophilia is illegal, unless you live in Massachussetts. That makes perfect sense, eh Senator Warren?

Big Bill really was the gold standard, and as an outlier should probably be left out. Aside from Huma Abedin and perhaps Webb Hubbell, I doubt there’s been much action on Her Nibs’ side of the power couple, although she was spotted on Epstein’s plane more than once. In any case, aggressive sexual behavior by Mr. Clinton is so obvious and so well-documented, that I agree that it’s a boring topic.
Back to the effect of fatherless households, an interesting chart.

The really interesting thing here, to me at least, is that the relationships between the numbers closely match average IQ scoring within those groups. So, why would intelligence track fidelity? I really don’t know.
Another one showing essentially the same thing.

You know, that would make a good scatter chart. Take all the members (or ex-members) of Congress and show their net worth over time. The most interest, of course, are the ones who have always worked in government. Someone like Kerry-Heinz is boring and so is Issa.
I don’t have any clue what ‘yimg’ is and don’t really care. A sign of old age I guess.
Gun company stock. It’s hard to think of one. Ruger? Gotta love the concept of litmus tests for companies. They might as well drop all the places with gambling, alcohol, tobacco subsidiaries. The next step is big pharma, defense, car companies (pollution), Monsanto, Facebook (hang on, not Facebook, they are an arm of the DNC) etc. etc. etc. Basically using the power of the government to run the stock market, for punishment in this case.
You do have to admire that the Green Libertarians are using public pensions as weapons in a civil war. Like I mentioned before, the US Right has to wake up and realize that it has to give as good as it gets. More aggressive behavior is probably required, just to stay even if anything, and compromise is useless.

Well with Ryan leaving that’s the end of the Tea party and the Republicans Party snuggle. It’s the end of any pretense of fiscal responsibility that I thought the Tea party stood for. It’s Trumps party now. Spend more and tax less is a sure recipe for deficit runaway.

There’s more crap in this litter box than I’ve seen in a long time.
Paul – Ryan was never any kind of Tea Party guy. Fiscal responsibility? If anyone in DC actually showed any fiscal responsibility there would be rioting in every city in America and you would would have a stroke on the spot.
“Spend more and tax less is a sure recipe for deficit runaway.”
Next – Paul will announce the sun rising in the East.
Tell you what Paul – why don’t you run for Congress on the platform of raising everyone’s taxes so they can all pay their ‘fair share’. And be sure to let each tax bracket know how much more they will pay. Right?
Anyone on the left has absolutely no standing to talk about fiscal responsibility.
Our national spending has had a moon shot projection going clear back to the 60’s.
You want the Tea Party to dictate our national budget, Paul? I didn’t think so.
Bush – Obama – Trump -it doesn’t seem to matter. But go ahead and bitch, Paul. If anyone did show fiscal constraint – you’d be among those calling for an armed revolution.

On Ryan, I will be charitable. He was horrible on illegal aliens, just terrible. We had him targeted for being primaried since 2016, but with everything else going on, it was too little too late. He will do fine when his term expires. Probably go on the lower tier 50K a speech circuit or sit as a member of a well funded think tank.
The reason we don’t have a balanced budget or comprehensive immigration reform is because Republicans like Ryan and his fellow Democrats are vehemently opposed to it. Ryan said he got tax reform through and increased funding for our desecrated military. Good for him and good riddance. Ryan is a nice guy, I will easily give him that.

Then they get quiet, then pissed off, then go chasing off after some dancing unicorns and get their crushed hopes up all over again only to repeat the cycle.
They always hated Ryan’s guts until he became a Never Trumper. Ryan’s is going to cut granny off and end Social Security! I am surprised they did not have Mitt Romney sing “America the Beautiful” in the background. It’s who they are.

So – what’s Trump supposed to do? If Trump had vetoed the budget, Paul would show up here complaining that Trump is a mad man shutting down the govt and killing people.
Paul doesn’t like Trump – we get it. The pres doen’t have line item veto power.
People keep voting for pretty much the same folks shuffling off to DC to spend trillions of dollars we don’t have to buy votes so they can get re-elected.
Paul keeps dreaming of that ‘Blue Wave’ taking back control of the legislature.
And his magic ‘free health care’. Then what will the deficits be? Double, triple?
And what are Paul’s specific solutions?

I wouldn’t sweat it. He’s an expert at controlling the conversation, and the more you respond to him the less the blog is George’s. Paul’s Prognostications is a pretty ugly place but it takes two to tango.
Heck, I’ll give out a solution gratis. Failing a worldwide disaster or earth-shaking improvement in the economy (think fusion, strong AI, or FTL travel) government deficit spending will be reigned in by one of two forces. The inability to borrow at the state level or money supply inflation/bondageddon at the federal level. The bond market is our only thermostat, but perhaps that was always true.
