More illegal aliens (Dreamers or whatever) became criminals when/if they worked on any part of Hillary’s campaign in 2016.  Federal law specifically prohibits foreign nationals from working on or contributing to candidates’ campaigns in federal elections. The records should still be there if they were paid by check or if they paid by check.  Anyone want to make book on whether those crack lamestream journalists will pick up on this.

And speaking of real Russian collusion.  It now turns out that Russia has for some time supported US anti-fracking activists with payments through various front organizations.  Since Mueller is looking for Russian collusion wherever the evidence leads.  You think anyone will notice if he doesn’t put too much effort into this part of the investigation?

The Dems are having a hell of time trying to figure out how to position their ‘Trump loves Putin’ narrative after the Presidents long list of sanctions against Vlad is coming out, now also containing the largest and most meaningful support of ally UK by kicking out 60 Russky intelligence attaches and closing their Seattle consulate.  I’m sure they’ll think of something, even if it’s only changing the subject.

And staying on the Dems a bit – how about their refusal to confirm Trump’s nominee for ambassador to Germany?  Openly gay, Mr Ric Grenell, cleared by the Senate’s Foreign Relations subcommittee, is opposed by Democrats for alleged anti-woman tweets in the man’s past, they won’t even let it come up for a vote.  Another twist in their party-above-country movement.

[27mar18 update] Startling numbers on the so-called Hillary states – it seems that they ain't what their promoters claim to be.  (more here)  H/T to correspondent.

The weekend's kiddie crusade headcount of kiddies was disappointing.  Only about one in ten were under 18.  The rest were made up of the usual activists and leftwing loyal followers.

[28mar18 update]  Best NRA spokesman since Obama has turned out to be former SCOTUS justice Stevens who now publicly has confirmed what we all have known to be the Left's final solution for the Second Amendment by calling for its repeal (here).  And as I commented in the last Sandbox - the First and Second Amendments are joined at the hip. For evidence of that, just take a look at countries where their First is proscribed because their Second doesn't exist. And for that, you can start with the EU countries before going afield into the less developed world.

[29mar18 update]  The politicization of justice in America can be debated until the cows come home.  One can make the case that we never had  apolitical justice in our land.  But, I do believe the debate about that can now be laid to rest, ALL applications of justice today are political.  And the more loudly some worthy stands up to deny it, the easier it is to use his very own citations to debunk his denial.

[30mar18 update]  Contemplating the evolution of blacks protesting since the days of the dignified and powerful demonstrations that were led by the Rev Martin Luther King Jr, I range between mystified and saddened.  Specifically, today we see the blacks’ public response to the tragic police killing of Stephon Clark showcased by his brother Stevante.  Why do African-American leaders tolerate and even encourage such distinguishing behavior of angry black demonstrators that continues to support the stereotype of blacks held by many non-blacks?  Is it not in the interest of the black community to return to the demonstrably successful methods and manners of MLK?

“how to position their ‘Trump loves Putin’ narrative”
It’s a good question, I wonder if any of the Green Libertarians might give a bit of insight into this.
Either the Trump/Putin lovefest will slowly sink under the waves, or somehow each bit of reality that doesn’t meet the needs of the narrative will be redefined somehow.
Luckily, one of Putin’s best friends forever in the US is the new National Security Advisor.
How’s this for a guess. The new story is that Bolton will get us into a war with Russia.

All I’m seeing is some newly ginned up story on Stormy’s attorney vs Trump on campaign law. The whole sex deal turned in to the Al Capone’s vault of political stories.
While you’re here, what’s the word on the street for Trump + Russia? Is that forgotten? Morphed into some a new wild and wonderful yarn? I gotta know.

I’m not even sure what they believe in anymore. This addictive outrage behavior, mostly based on nothing, just leads from one meaningless story to the next. I wonder if the other 1/2 of the country would have been as badly behaved if Her Nibs had gotten a few thousand more votes here or there.
For sure there wouldn’t have been a politically weaponized federal bureaucracy digging into her affairs. Wikileaks might have been the last candle flickering in that world, and I somehow doubt that Assange would still be alive at this point.
Confirmation issues are merely smart politics (as per the ambassador story above). You hold up the machine based on some outrage issue or the other, and then you make hay on how the Trump administration hasn’t gone to the trouble to fill up the appointments yet. A win-win situation for everyone but the administration and the poor suffering hoi polloi.

We have dedicated 27 FBI staff to review the records that are potentially responsive to Chairman Goodlatte’s requests,” he wrote, adding he was “doubling the number of assigned FBI staff, for a total of 54, to cover two shifts per day from 8am to midnight to expedite completion of this project.”
But, a DOJ insider told Fox News that Attorney General Jeff Sessions has voiced his concern over the “unacceptable” pace with which the FBI is working and is “done” seeing his department criticized over it.
“He’s told Wray that the pace is unacceptable and that if the FBI needs to double the number of people working on this, then that’s what they need to do, but he is done seeing the Department criticized for the FBI’s slow walking of requests from Congress like the last administration when this requests should be a top priority,” the insider said.

re today’s update – you can start with our good neighbor to the north. They have kangaroo court tribunals that have the power to financially destroy you even if you can ‘prove’ yourself innocent of any wrongdoing. Ask Mark Steyn. He and Macleans magazine were at least able to bring enough publicity to bear upon his case that the tribunal had to end it. Only approved grievance groups are allowed to bring charges.
As a Canadian member of Parliament famously pointed out – “Canadians do not have any freedom of speech”.
    Even HuffPo agrees.

Of course, HuffPo has no clue how to maintain that freedom.
    First you need another freedom.

I don’t think this will come as a shock to anyone who was paying attention!
Newly uncovered text messages between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page suggest a possible coordination between high-ranking officials at the Obama White House, CIA, FBI, Justice Department and former Senate Democratic leadership in the early stages of the investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, according to GOP congressional investigators on Wednesday.
The investigators say the information provided to Fox News “strongly” suggests coordination between former President Barack Obama’s Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, then-Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, and CIA Director John Brennan — which they say would “contradict” the Obama administration’s public stance about its hand in the process.

    Closing the circle –
It has not been clear why McCain delivered the dossier to Comey in December 2016. By then, the FBI had not only already reportedly launched an investigation into Trump’s campaign partially utilizing the dossier, but Comey himself had two months earlier signed an application using the dossier to obtain a FISA warrant on Carter Page, who briefly served as a volunteer foreign policy adviser to Trump’s campaign.

You might need to more fully define ‘arms’. Merely applying kinetic energy to a target might be the least powerful concept going forward.

To get an idea, just look at the way the current amendment’s “well regulated militia” has served the Left.

For some strange reason, been thinking about the Khmer Rouge. Disarmed the populace and massacred those who could read. Ones that read things and knew history, the history of Stalin and Mao. Killing fields.
The Khmer Rouge used children to hide behind. Children….children with guns with their young minds correctly indoctrinated. Disarmed the populace first, then used children to execute parents and those who knew what the Rouge was up to.
Been thinking about the Chinese in the Korean War. The Chinese led with floods of unarmed civilians, with the Red Chinese regulars hiding behind.and among.
There has been other examples in history. They always disarm the populace first and then control the populace, the nation, the country.
Always confiscate the guns, always hiding behind the children, the innocent, the unknowing, the fooled.

The State Department will publish new rules this week that would require most visitors and immigrants to the U.S. to turn over their recent social media histories, carrying out one of President Trump’s key security enhancements from his extreme vetting executive order.
Travelers would also be asked to list previous phone numbers, email addresses and international travel during the previous five years, and to detail any immigration problems they’ve had, whether with the U.S. or elsewhere. They’ll also be asked about potential family connections to terrorism.

But Rice isn’t the only Obama alum benefiting here. David Plouffe, a former senior adviser to Obama, was hired by ridesharing company Uber in August 2014 to be its senior vice president of policy and strategy. This past January, Plouffe was lured away from Uber by Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg to help run his Chan Zuckerberg social advocacy organization.
Former White House press secretary Jay Carney has settled down at another titan, Amazon. Carney, who departed the West Wing in June 2014 and spent six months as a political analyst at CNN, joined Amazon in March 2015 as senior vice president for corporate affairs.

Upright: “To make a man a protector is to give him purpose. To deny him the means of protecting his family is to undercut that purpose.” —David French
The BIG Lie: “The first amendment has restrictions. The second amendment has no restrictions. These weapons are not in the hands of ‘well-regulated’ militias. The changes the people are demanding do not desecrate the second amendment, they just make it a safe addition to our constitution.” —Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student and anti-gun grandstander Cameron Kasky on Twitter
Braying Jennies: “[EPA Chief Scott] Pruitt … said in an interview published in The Daily Caller last week that he would no longer allow the agency to use studies that include nonpublic scientific data to develop rules to safeguard public health and prevent pollution. … Don’t be fooled by this talk of transparency. He and some conservative members of Congress are setting up a nonexistent problem in order to prevent the E.P.A. from using the best available science.” —former EPA officials Gina McCarthy and Janet McCabe
Race bait: “[Republicans] want to change [the census] to count the number of U.S. citizens so that they can engage in very not subtle voter suppression. That is illegal and that is totally inconsistent with what the North Star of the census in Republican and Democratic administrations have been.” —DNC Chairman Tom Perez

Once watched a video of the Islamic Community marching down the streets in some Western European city protesting free speech. Signs and chants were for ending free speech and getting rid of the whole thing. No more free speech!
Well, I thought that was just a small band of crazy zealot misogynist rapists sucking dollars out of the safety net in Europe and it could never happen here. Free speech is a God given right that precedes government….a natural right, as is the right to protect and defend one’s self and country.
But, nooooo. I cannot recall one time that people took to the streets to protest and demand a Natural Law right bestowed upon us as human beings be rescinded/removed or handled over to the “necessary evil” of government.
All comparisons to MLK and the civil rights movement are an abomination to those who struggled for civil liberties. The teenie boppers want to take civil rights away. Don’t know about you, but calling 911 does not keep me safe nor protects me in the least. Too little too late. No law ever stopped a rape, but then again, no one ever raped a 38, capisce?
