   Can’t be over the budget that Nancy and Chucky were high fiving themselves saying they never got such a deal when they were in the majority. Nah, that Omni spending bill was crammed full of money for research (mega), mental health dollars, and even Fed dollars to add six feet to the height of Lake Shasta.
   Get this: No new dams, just increase the storage capacity of an existing important dam, and the State of California is blocking it, ROFLMAO. Go ahead, tear it down. Serves them right.
   No, it can’t be opening the spigots on the cash. Or Stormy. Or that FB story fizzling out, even though there is a bunch of state AGs suiting FB for letting the R’s do what they called Obama a genius for doing,. And another “get this”. Trump went with the better RNC data in the general anyway. Citizen Trump called the RNC data more accurate. No agrument here.
   Nah, I think the reason they are so pissy lately has everything to do with the BOS and pot and all those dollars (for medicinal purposes only) are slip sliding away. Bummer, dude. “At least Nevada County is blue, so there! Put that in your rural white supreminist pipe and smoke it.” Yep, it’s all about the hunchie hunchie marihuana alter and the fact that women just don’t care about the Stormy saga. The women don’t care, is only the unhinged white lib males, another lol.
   BTW, haven’t looked it up for the final tally, but at one time only 3 Congressmen (R-CA) voted for the spending bill. One of the three was our own representative, a farmer himself. Men of the land are the salt of the earth.

   If true, such action by Facebook may constitute a major violation of federal campaign finance law as an illegal corporate campaign contribution. The matter should be investigated by the Federal Election Commission – an agency I am quite familiar with, because I served as one of its commissioners from 2006 to 2007. The commission enforces campaign finance laws for congressional and presidential elections.
   A federal law bans corporations from making “direct or indirect” contributions to federal candidates. That ban extends beyond cash contributions to “any services, or anything of value.” In other words, corporations cannot provide federal candidates with free services of any kind. Under the Federal Election Commission’s regulations, “anything of value” includes any “in-kind contribution.”

There are at least three per day per lamestream media outlet since the Trump election. Now, do you get it? Probably not.

    Proposal for a measure to be put on the ballot in Oregon. There’s probably enough lefties in Portland alone to easily get this on the ballot.

    It will be interesting to see what happens in Oregon if the polling shows it has a good chance of becoming law. It is poorly written and although they are pushing it as a ‘assault gun reduction’ measure, it will affect almost all semi-auto fire arms.
    Obviously, the only way it can be enforced is a door to door surprise search by the authorities. As I read it, once the 120 day period expires, almost anyone moving into Oregon has to surrender or sell their semi-auto fire arm.
    The registration rate will be small as everyone knows that once registered, there will be an on-going litany of new restrictions and fees to eventually force most people that aren’t rich to simply give up and get rid of their fire arm. Once the 120 day period has passed 10s of thousands of Oregonians will be subject to a felony.
    There will end up being a glut of unregistered guns put into the underground market.

    An Air Force cadet from Loomis played the hero twice in the span of 72 hours — first by finding a pilot whose plane went down in a mountainous area just west of Gilroy, then talking a suicidal man down from a freeway overpass.
    On leave from the Air Force Academy over Presidents Day weekend, Cadet Third Class Jack Bell decided to rent a plane and fly from Auburn to Monterey. Bell, 19, had earned his pilot’s license while attending Del Oro High School, from which he graduated in 2016.
    Not far from his destination, Bell’s radio crackled with a request from the Northern California TRACON office. A pilot had called in reporting an engine failure in the area before its plane’s communications system went dark. Could Bell cut down through the clouds and look for the downed plane?

    You have to wonder on the pistol 10 round magazine restriction. It won’t affect the 1911 or concealed carry guys, but the other 80% (or whatever) of non-revolver handguns immediately have illegal magazines.
