[The Miami bridge collapse embarrasses me as an engineer – such screw-ups are supposed to occur only in third world countries.  And then we find that this was a 'shovel ready' project from the past, designed by the nearby university, that took five years of bureaucratic buffeting before being awarded to a problem-plagued construction firm.  And it turns out that the Left did another number on CIA's Deputy Director Haspel nominated by Trump to be the new CIA head.  They lied about her involvement in past waterboardings by the agency, which even if true, is to me and mine no reason to doubt her ability to lead that organization.  gjr]

State of Jefferson? Nah, I am in the “New California Camp. Have exploratory committees in all but Marin County, figures. Even strong support from Alamenda County. The county wants to be miles away from The City.
Only problem with New California is that Ventura County really wants in, bad. They want nada to do with LA and Orange County. Ventura would mess up the map, but I really feel their pain. It’s overwhelming, rips my heart asunder.
And New California just gets a two word mention. Go figure.

What kind of BS is this? “McCabe was fired through an internal administrative process of the FBI, and not President Trump.”
For nearly a year Trump has been demanding in private and in public, that McCabe be fired He is the boss. When your boss tells you to fire someone, you do it. Don’t hide behind nuance and Pretend Trump had nothing to do with the McCabe firing.
Trump tweet from all the way back to July: “Why didn’t A.G. Sessions replace Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, a Comey friend who was in charge of Clinton investigation but got….”

You know, Comey is making 160k a month government pension. It would take a felony while on the job (like leaking) and a small bill in Congress to strip the Former Director of his pension and health bennies. A fantasy of mine.
Comey is easy to figure out. When the firefights break out, his bottomline is first and foremost to watch out for James Comey. Number One has always been his Bottomline, no matter which way the wind blows. He is just another houseboy.

Logical reasoning would suggest that anyone innocent of a crime or crimes would want the proceedings to reach a conclusion so as to clear one’s name and reputation. Logical reasoning would also suggest that someone who is trying to stop, discredit, or inhibit such an investigation is trying to hide a crime, crimes, or other misdeeds.

It was loose lips to a reporter concerning an investigation of the Clinton Foundation, ROFLMAO. Leaking is a no-no. The FBI has professional standards. Ethics and such. From my reading of the situation, he probably needed firing. Truth be told, it’s probably nearly impossible for the ruling elite to not take sides and backing the wrong pretender to the throne is a bad idea generally.
Seriously, if you want to get all hot and bothered about a high-ranking apparatchik, simply put a few bucks into his pocket.

“.the man served with distinction for 99.99% of his long career with fbi” (speaking of this McCabe character).
Dude, get a grip. He worked there for 21 or 22 years. That’s not a crazy amount of time, hell he’s only 50 just now.
I have a funny feeling that Mr. Obi is one of those fairly unaccomplished people, honestly that’s not a thing to be ashamed of, but that’s not a particularly long career…especially in government.
Personally, I think it’s an important act for Doctor General God Emperor President Trump to take on as a kind of object lesson. It comes in two parts:
    1) You never know who is going to win the election.
    2) You shouldn’t take sides, especially in the criminal justice/intelligence side of things.
Just imagine what happened in the USSR when Malenkov (and then Khrushchev) took over. No doubt quite a few members of the KGB/party/army pyramid backed the wrong horse and were sorry later. Don’t cry for this McCabe guy, he was playing a game and lost.

Yes, McCabe served for almost all of his career without having his ideology and politics become obviously visible. However, he did not end his career that way, and he went dirty. This was discovered, confirmed, and now revealed for all to see by the FBI’s own IG. The material facts are there for the established administrative procedures to be enforced, and that they were regardless of what Donald Trump’s previous assessment was (which BTW turned out to be correct).
None of our leftwing outlets reported that because it would have turned their narrative upside down (as if their audiences would ever notice).

For the few informationally challenged,, no Trump did do any firing.
    Contrary to proggy whining.
” McCabe was fired on the recommendation of the Department of Justice’s inspector general for allegedly revealing sensitive information to a reporter. Further, an upcoming OIG report is expected to detail a pattern of such behavior during the DOJ’s review of the Hillary Clinton investigation. Attorney General Jeff Sessions reportedly decided to fire McCabe after he reviewed the report.”

Ah guys, you got to remember that Obee Wonton got that the acher’s retirement and he ain’t gonna get no SSI. It’s in the contact he signed. Sad. The thought of all those incompetent brain dead burned out teachers not making it across the finish line strikes the Big Fear in poor Obeenohave’s heart. Come on guys, can’t you just let him retire tomorrow and keep his pension? It’s only fair. It’s the way we have always done things.
Bet Dougie was sweating bullets trying to make it under the wire himself. They done sent him out to be the playground monitor to coast across the finish line for those last long months and years.
Yep, when that retirement is too small and one’s eyes are bigger than one’s appetite, well……poor planning sucks. McCabe is hitting too close to home for some in the public sector, I reckon.
Ah, yes. I remember many moons ago the Friscoites and the United Postal Workers were chanting in the streets demanding the coveted “no fire clause.” It’s what was wrong with the US Postal Service.
Hmm. McCabe walking out with that big ole bootprint on his large backside muscles probably sent the chills down Bobbie’s spine as well. That’s getting too close to home.
McCabe, you are fired! Now, run off and join Arnie the Gobbernator.

,,,this is rich,,,enjoy!!! john kelly’s day from hell,,,
White House Chief of Staff John Kelly started yesterday with prescient bravado.
What we’re hearing… The retired four-star Marine general told about 20 West Wing officials — including National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster — in the 8 a.m. senior staff meeting: This is on the record, since you’re all going to go out and tell the press, anyway.
On the Washington Post front page, above the fold, was the headline: “Trump plans to replace McMaster, maybe others.”
Kelly stunned the room by declaring: We all read the same newspapers and watch the same shows. Contrary to what’s been reported, H.R. and I are still here.
Kelly then told the silent staffers: The press’s worst day was when I came in. The press wants to take down the president. I stand between the press and the president. They have to take me down first.
Lindsay Reynolds, the first lady’s chief of staff, broke the tension by joking: “We thought this was Black Friday — everybody gets fired.”
Economic adviser Gary Cohn topped her: “I can’t get fired. I already resigned.”
During senior staff meetings, the staff goes around the room, and General McMaster usually makes several orderly, numbered points.
Yesterday, he passed when his turn came.
All of this was before Kelly called in reporters for an off-the-record meeting (Axios didn’t attend or make any agreement, so we’re able to share the contents with you) where he acknowledged that Trump himself was probably responsible for a significant number of the stories about staffing chaos.
As we reported yesterday, and we told you in Axios PM, Kelly said it’s likely that Trump is talking to people outside the White House, who then talk to reporters.
Kelly also said that past cocaine use by Larry Kudlow, named this week to succeed Cohn, won’t be a problem for his security clearance, as it is public knowledge. Kelly joked that the 1990s were “a crazy time.”
Staffers were shocked that Kelly revealed to reporters that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, during a diplomatic swing through Africa, was suffering from a stomach bug and was using a toilet when Kelly told him to cut the trip short and return to Washington.
Be smart: Kelly defended McMaster at the senior staff meeting — even though the chief is widely known to be casting about for a replacement.
Now you’ll better appreciate this bit in the WashPost story: “The mood inside the White House in recent days has verged on mania … White House officials have begun betting about which staffer will be ousted next.”
Go deeper … “On Leadership” column in WashPost Sunday Business section, “Trump’s ‘cascade of chaos’: When there’s too much turnover at the top.”

    That Trump is batshit crazy.
I believe Mr. Trump is going on the offensive, getting more comfortable in the job, learning where the bathrooms and skeletons are. I could be wrong, but that was a nice uppercut to solar plexus that knocked the wind out of them to start off a fine weekend. Not bad for being on the ropes. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. The King, the Greatest. Ali I am referring to, of course.
Trump is crazier than a sack full of ferrets. You mess with the Deep State and you mess with the whole trailor park. Chucky warned Trump. “They got six ways to Sunday to get back at you.”
Mueller dragging It out and mulling an October surprise? Hell yes.Thats a given. But, which year for the October Surprise? Looks like 2020, just in case Congress don’t do its job. Good thing we won’t lose the Senate in 2018 and beyond.
I put my money on Mueller. Trump don’t have a snowball’s chance in Maxine’s place of birth with those boys. They will eat him alive. He doesn’t have a prayer. Mark the tape. He will be gone by mid-March, 2017, right. Take it to the bank. Ok, firing Comey will get rid of Trump. He won’t survive the 25th Nuthouse Amendment as an insurance policy, right?
Yep, Trump is hitting his stride, doing his building making thing.
