   The celebration of Mueller’s ‘indictments’ seems a bit premature. Not one Russian will be tried, and none of them have anything to do with Trump’s campaign or his election. Perhaps Mueller saw these as low hanging fruit, and after all this time he had to put something more into his basket for show.

   George 12:50—deflect deflect deflect — an indictment is an indictment even in quotation marks. I would think prosecutors would put some serious consideration into the evidence before indicting anyone, especially foreign nationals.
   “none of them have anything to do with Trump’s campaign or his election”. where is your proof or is this just wishful thinking; fake news in an attempt to predispose readers to your viewpoint so when the trump twitter storm of denials comes out the faithful will maintain the faith?

    Scenes 1:24 – Unlike Todd, I included a link to my source rather than make a hollow claim with nothing to back it up. Todd just spouts off what ever floats past his head. He claimed that the MAGA shooter was drugged by lefties. When I asked him to back up that statement he warbles away with some inane general claim about how “the libs in our schools forced many parents to shove mind-bending drugs down the throats of our boys.”

    Regarding Florida school shooter Nikolas Cruz’s real problem. Not much mentioned that government, education, medical doctors, media and pharmacists have created America’s opioid drug problem, mass murders, and suicides. I had a feeling the most recent Cruz shooting resulted from his drug prescription. Guns aren’t the problem…Medical doctors, big pharma and the war destroying America’s future leaders is the problem. Thank God there are some parents saw it being pushed onto their active sons, but wouldn’t let the school and doctors drug them. The schools got around $400 per student put on Ritalin, or Adderall that destroys developing brains ability to self-discipline behavior.     Marat/Sade at the National Theater. I thought that I had already made some comments on our experience somewhere in a comment stream – perhaps it was just in an email to someone. Jo Ann and I had a grand time attending the 2feb18 performance. Producer PaulE had been kind enough to provide with us with the play script beforehand, so we had a chance to read major portions of it. To fully enjoy the play, it pays to do a bit of homework on the historical period (France 1808 et ante) if you’re not familiar with it.
    We were impressed with the extent and caliber of the extensive production and the use of the entire theater to stage the play. The number of actors and musicians on stage was impressive and well-orchestrated, especially the musical numbers with singing and dancing. What really blew us away was the quality of acting that our local thespians were able to deliver, and that included the excellent delivery of long monologues (I shudder to think of the time spent memorizing and rehearsing). The only problem that we noted was that the deliveries were paced a bit fast, and therefore sometimes difficult to understand/digest – i.e. maybe they spoke faster than I could listen ;-). It is a long play; the original version was supposed to have taken over four hours, this version was reduced to 1.5 hour first act, then intermission and conclusion with a 30 minute second act. That worked well.
    Bottom line, we were impressed that such a tour de force was pulled off right here in River City – whouda thought? Hats off to Paul (who was also on stage playing his guitar and singing) and all the organizers, volunteers, behind scenes workers, and the lusty troupe of actors who didn’t skip a beat.

    If Meuller’s indictment does not include any Americans, why come out today with the news? Ok, trolls were busted. Yeah, and the few thousand dollars (6k or some other single digit) spent on FB ads really pulled the wool over our eyes from San Diego to the border of New Foundland.
    I went on Russian sites during the election, via RT-UK links. It was all personal stuff like Michele with a salavating gapping mouth looking at a banana or President Obama in drag…with too much purple eyeliner, IMHO Straight from the Russian lady in charge of some media affairs department. Not much there to see. RT does hire good freelance writers, some of which have been unwittingly interviewed and broadcasted on our only local and beloved community asset FM station run out of the back of some old theater in Nevada City.
    RT did have some good articles, and not all politics either. A few were actual breaking news, not refuted. Like reading one of those UK tablobids on Drudge, they covered a wide range of news and events.
    Hacking? I have always found it interesting that WikiLeaks never leaked one single e-mail that was composed by Hillary Rodman Clinton. Not one.
    Hacking? The first real admitted hacking (eyeballs) into the State Department computers got in the State Department through Sid Bloomentral’s private computer. Sid Vicious did send important intel to My Gal. Get this. They say 29% of Hillary’s intel and our information on Libya came from Sid. Does Arab Spring ring a bell? Does our strong ally Jolly ole England’s House of Commons refusing to go along with the plan to invade Libya ring a bell? Leading from behind….behind Sid and Hillary, but I digress.
    The FBI said there were several “actors” in My Gal’s computer. Probably was the Russians. They like to sit there and just read stuff, take nothing, and leave a false trail of breadcrumbs leading to some kid in Estonia, lol.
    Or, were the Hillary Campaign’s e-mails never hacked. Never? Did not happen? Where is the proof? Great time to take the attention off Hillary’s never ending personal server (for convenience) scandal and avoidance of taking questions about those “damn e-mails”.

    One week before the election, all Wikileaks from Assange stopped and RT-UK was told their license in the UK was pulled, not to be renewed, siting zero violations nor nary any explanation. Figured it was us taking bold steps to make sure there would be no last minute bombshells.
    Timeline was this. WikiLeaks told followers to watch for the next batch. Contains the big one, the real bombshell. Explosive. Then warnings went out big time across the liberal blogs warning its followers to ignore any WikiLeaks dumps in the final week, citing it is fake, false, a big fat fib. Nevermind not one WikiLeaks dump has been contested as being fake or even altered. About that time Assange start losing his internet connection. No bombshell came, election came and went. Not making a point, just the timeline. The Empire strikes back. Give Obama credit for that. Somebody had to shut that albino down that close to the election.
    Timeline of Flynn. Flynn landed the gig on the Trump transition team. Couldn’t get a FISA tap on Flynn, no way with his distinguished record. They hated his guts. Flynn came out as the one who blew the whistle that we were giving cash, weapons and safe passage to ISIS. Not a team player.
    Administration waited until Flynn was out of the country (Dominican Republic) and kicked out the Russians from their own properties here. They knew the Russian Ambassador (always tapped) would contact Flynn, the next NSA to Trump. So, of course the Ambassador contacted Flynn, and of course was he out of the country, so no warrant was needed. We all know that Flynn asked that the Russians not retaliate in kind.
    I love timelines.

    Walt, agreed. It’s just a PR scheme. Why wasn’t Putin’ indicted. Some guys in St. Petersburg tried to muddle in a election. Some guys in the White House tried to influence the Israeli election…or the Ukrainian election? Heavens to mergatroyd.
    Manaford did some tax evasion stuff ten years ago but not charged with tax charges? Gates flips. Who in the heck is Gates? All neatly packaged for the media to eat it up right after the Nunes memo release cast doubts upon weaponized political witch hunts, particularly the Russian Collusion false narrative. Those 13 Russians should be charged with impersonating Democrats….trickery at best.
    Call me when there is Russian Collusion with the Trump campaign. Or any Collusion with Russia. Until then, it’s just a nice PR release to lift the spirits of the popinjays.

    The fact that Rooskies were making buys on American social media is old news. The amounts of money were pathetically small.
    I’m still amazed that there are folks that actually believe that a potential Hillary voter could be swayed by ‘secret messages’ on social media into voting for Trump.
    As I recall, Mueller was supposed to find that Trump was working secretly with Russians to win the election. Seems like the big drug bust turns up jay walkers.
    As has been famously said – “you can indict a ham sandwich”.
    Meanwhile the FBI completely failed to stop a mass murderer even after he was pointed out before the act. They certainly have their priorities all figured out.
