    The Trump administration informed lawmakers Monday that new Russia sanctions called for in a bipartisan bill passed last year are not necessary yet because the measure is already “serving as a deterrent.”
    The announcement came as lawmakers in both parties nudged the administration to implement a sanctions legislation that passed overwhelmingly in July — with only five no votes in both the House and Senate. The sanctions bill requires the imposition of penalties by Monday against entities doing “significant” business with Moscow’s defense and intelligence sectors, unless Congress is notified that prospective targets are “substantially reducing” that business.

    It remains unclear whether the administration has already released or plans to release the oligarchs or sovereign debt reports that were due Monday, both of which are likely to contain classified information.     If all you’ve got to run a coup d’etat is some Russian Facebook ads and the small (and unprovable) whiff that a Russian state-sponsored group let loose a tiny bit of the HRC criminal and moral conspiracies, I’d suggest everyone keep fishing.
    The US, of course, is far more guilty of this kind of thing than any of the accused countries. It comes from having a lot more money and the expansionist policies of the Bush/Obama regime. Thank goodness you didn’t vote for Obama the second time.

    1911 update
    The CMP has been authorized to receive 8,000 1911 type pistols from the United States Army.
    The 1911s have been received by the CMP. A complete inventory will be conducted over the course of this week. The pistols will then be securely stored until the Army-approved 1911 building and armory infrastructure is completed. That completion is anticipated to be approximately 60 days from now. Once the 1911 armory is completed, inspection, grading, repair, and ultimately test firing of the pistols will begin. (Please be aware that the CMP was led to believe that we were ready to move forward, but three weeks ago facility requirements were changed, and we are now fulfilling those requirements.)

Mexico’s biggest, and most valuable from its own perspective, export to the US and elsewhere is its redundant people – those who would foment revolution and bring down the ruling class were they to stay home with no hope and nowhere to go. That is why Mexico promotes one-way open borders without which the country would collapse in short order with blood in the streets, and why it has such stringent immigration laws and how it deals with illegal aliens.

    Now, now. That seems a bit harsh. After all, “We have only ourselves to blame for the commodity ” and that would be the end users. Perhaps Saint Paul wants those people shot. I really can’t tell.
    If you don’t want to shoot the drug users, and you don’t want to make meth and heroin available at RIte-Aid for a small cost, you are pretty much left with only one moral choice. To make them difficult to make and distribute.
    In the case of synthetic drugs, you have to manage supplies of the precursors. In the case of those that are grown (or made in Mexico), you can either occupy Mexico or you can build a wall.
    A Wall isn’t perfect of course, but vastly improving border security probably is the only thing that works. A tiny percentage of drug smuggling is done via airplanes or boats (look up the numbers, it barely registers in terms of the amount), so blocking the overland route is really the only answer. It’s not 100% airtight, but then it doesn’t need to be.

The longer you keep your money invested in those distressed zones, the less capital gains you will have to pay. Drops to zero cap gains taxes if held for ten years.

    Shooting pushers on sight? Well, it depends where, how, and some ifs. For example, if the shooting of pusher men or dope peddler happens in CA, it depends if a stolen gun was used. If the stolen gun has a value of $699 or less, then it is a misdemeanor. A ticket is written and you have to go to court eventually. No instant 3 hots and a cot. Lots of ifs.
    There are some budding businesses forming that may show some promise. One is called Low Life Removal Service. Too early to tell how many jobs the sector will create. Green sprouts, if you will.
