Punchy learned a new word today… the “spread”. He also changed links from Rasmussen to RCP.
Look at the spread. If approval goes up 1%, and as might be expected, disapproval goes down 1%… the spread’s delta is double that, or 2%.
RCP might report the spread at the new link Paul has provided, but that doesn’t make it the lingua franca of pollsters. The spread is fine for horseraces or sports betting, but that isn’t the case here except for some newsreaders and hack reporters who want extra volatile numbers to rant about.
Yes, Rasmussen daily poll has Trump at 42%, down from 46% a few days ago. In the range it’s been rattling around in for months.

Shutdown.
It has occurred to me that there are millions of folks out there that have never seen the Dems fold like a cheap suit during a Shutdown in their lifetimes. What changed? One man and a Twitter Machine? Nah. The Bernie crowd just don’t have the numbers. For the past, say 40 years or so, the real Libs, the far Lefties, have stood at 19-22% of the voting population. Sure, peaked at 24% a couple of times, but those were for brief periods.
Shutdown? The Bernie Believers, however form the true believers take or call themselves, still do not have the numbers in 2018. Their big tent tent ain’t big enough.
Never get tired of winning….to be continued. America First or Invaders First? It’s a free country. You decide.

Have you seen the study about the amount of greenhouses that will be released into the air by the construction of the Tunnel? As a reminder, last month, the DOJ released hundreds of text messages between Strzok and Page, both of whom served briefly on Mueller’s team, with Page leaving over the summer and Strzok being reassigned late last year to the FBI’s human resources division after the discovery of the exchanges with Page.
Many of the texts revealed a clear anti-Trump and pro-Clinton bias, and included discussions of the Clinton email investigation.
“We need to get to the bottom of it and find out what exactly happened,” Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, said Monday on Fox News’ “Outnumbered Overtime.”
Jordan said Monday that the lapse in documents is reminiscent of the mysterious disappearance of emails from former IRS official Lois Lerner during the Obama-era IRS/Tea Party targeting scandal. Lerner’s emails disappeared during congressional investigations.
“The Lerner thing was huge,” Jordan told The Daily Caller. “My gut tells me this is probably bigger.”
So to summarize:
IRS emails: missing, and likely deleted
Clinton emails: deleted
NSA emails: deleted
And now, thousands of FBI text messages: deleted
What a farce.

Bob Corker swallowed his Adam’s apple. One heck of a great speech by Pence. Made no bones about several issues. Are them Dems sure they want him to replace Trump? Opps, they don’t. Yep, keep focusing on Trump, what Trump tweeted today, who he boiked in 2006, which of the 3,000 lies he told today, what shoes FLOTUS wore yesterday, focus on daily polling in the toilet, obstruction of justice, impeachment, investigations and opinion pieces searching for a crime, Trump’s Big Macs and diet cokes, ad infinitum.
Every single second they look at Trump, they miss the boat leaving the docks without them. Trump (wisely) walked away this weekend and let Chucky deal with Mitch and Nancy deal with Paul…Paul Ryan. Oh Chucky was bitching that Trump was on the sidelines, leaving him to do all the negotiating with the Republicans. Yo Chucky, in case you did not notice, Trump kicked your butt….from the sidelines.
Keep focusing every second of everyday on Trump and polls. Look at those polls. Study them, learn them, know them, love them. Read the tea leaves.
Bottomline: Trump is just one Deplorable. Trump will come and go as all Presidents do. But, there is a whole basket full of Deplorables out there that, like Trump, have, are, and will be kicking your asses from the sidelines long after Trump. Memorize those polls!
Daily polls worked like a charm throughout 2016 and they hold all the answers to what life is all about. Unlocks all the Great Mysteries. Hold them polls up high so we all can see them…darn, another bus left the station.
