Sessions is probably already packing up his stuff and heading home to Alabama where he’ll be appreciated. Mueller has all he needs to totally discredit him and Trump doesn’t like him anyway. Give it about three weeks or the first of the year. It’s likely Kelly will be joining the exodus as well.

Good lord Todd (2:13)! You are as dumb as a Wiffle ball. You must be reading Art Buchwald’s list of reasons why the Watergate investigation should have been dropped. Do these sound even a little bit familiar?
“It’s a waste of time and money.”

    “What About Chappaquiddick?”

This is unbelievable. Trump is trying to blame his attorney for the unbelievably stupid tweet that he fired Comey because he lied to the FBI
The Washington Post said in an update added to their story about the Twitter message — which insisted that any actions undertaken by Flynn during the presidential transition were “lawful” — that Trump’s personal attorney Dowd posted in the first person on the president’s Twitter account.
“UPDATE: The Post is now reporting that the tweet was authored by Trump’s personal lawyer, John Dowd, according to two people familiar with the situation,” said a note added some time after the article was published at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. “The fact that Dowd authored the tweet could limit its salience to the investigation, but the White House still hasn’t publicly corrected anything.”
Legal experts were aghast on Saturday when the message was posted, questioning whether Trump was intentionally trying to get himself charged with obstruction of justice.
However, as some observers noted, if Dowd actually authored the tweet in question, he used the improper conjugation of the verb “to plead” — the kind of mistake a first-year law student learns not to make, let alone a seasoned attorney like Dowd.

The Norons were one of the 4 great factions engaged in battle under the Dynasty. In the war for the west the Norons were fierce and competitive warriors against the Sorons. Calling me a noron was a distinctive compliment . . . Even if you didn’t know it (you didn’t know it). Many thanks.

Bunch of f’ing idiots can’t do tax reform either…you cannot make this stuff up!!!
Corporate donors do not like it. As The Wall Street Journal reports:
The biggest consequence could be the research credit, often used by manufacturers, technology firms and pharmaceutical companies, and the National Association of Manufacturers said it was working with policy makers to address the issue.
Under the credit, companies get money back from the government for what they spend on innovation, often for wages of scientists and engineers. Corporations will claim $10.3 billion in research credits in 2018, according to the congressional Joint Committee on Taxation.
… Murray Energy Corp., an Ohio-based firm and the largest privately held U.S. coal-mining company, complained that the AMT decision and the Senate’s tougher limits on interest deductions made a “mockery out of so-called tax reform.” Robert Murray, the company’s chief executive officer, said the Senate tax plan would raise his company’s tax bill by $60 million.
“What the Senate did, in their befuddled mess, is drove me out of business and then bragged about the fact that they got some tax reform passed,” Mr. Murray said in an interview Sunday. “This is not job creation. This is not stimulating income. This is driving a whole sector of our community into nonexistence.”

Yup voter intimidation is alive and well.
““If you don’t vote, and Roy Moore – a child predator – wins, could you live with that? Your vote is public record and your community will know whether or not you helped stop Roy Moore,” she said. ”
That’s not all. These dirtbags of the Left are skirting election laws.
“Little is known about the Highway 31 super PAC given that it has been intentionally set up in a manner that prevents the public from discovering who is funding it.
According to a report from the Daily Beast’s Lachlan Markay, voters won’t know the source of nearly $2 million worth of ads until after the election.
“Super PACs are required to disclose their donors, but the group Highway 31 has structured its spending in a way that campaign-finance experts say is almost unprecedented,” Markay wrote. “While legal, it will have the effect of obscuring the group’s benefactors, who will have financed a series of ads over the last two months of the campaign propping up Jones and hammering his Republican opponent, former State Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore.” ”
I do believe the voters see through the Lefty crap, and Moore will win.

Well, there is a lot to not like in the tax bill. The good is the enemy of the best and somebody will feel all butt hurt. Seems to focus on reducing the corporate rate, which is great and if we can get sole proprietors included in the pass through, it will be greater.
Get this. On Nov 30, 2017 I was listening to a local alternative news Popinjay station and they had a segment about how doubling the standard deduction for most folks was going to hurt non-profits. Hypothetically, of course. The agrument goes like this:
People are moved to make donations to organizations like food banks, Salvation Army, Hospice, and a host of non-profits because they be tax deductible. You can write off the used underwear you donated to the Cancer Thrift or Women of Worth like President William “Bilker Bill” Clinton did. Sweet. But, if your standard scuction is doubled and…
    A) you now owe no taxes and don’t need no stinkin’ receipt to save for 5 years from Save Our Trails or whoever you took your junk to, or made a tax deductible cash pocket change donation to the cause. Guess folks still write checks and money orders are accepted, but I digress.
B). The doubling of the standard deduction for say, someone who makes 50k/year, has a modest mortgage….well, what they lost in mortgage and local tax deductions, they made up by the doubling, saved record keeping (simplified filing taxes for them) and were compensated for it all by the doubling of the standard deduction.
Thus, people would stop donating to the poor folk who have neither shoes or coats.
So, all this time while listening and being informed, I kept thinking something about the liberal mind Dr. Rebane penned again recently. It was the ole’ (paraphrase) “and the liberals are steadfast in saying taxes do not influence behavior.” Then I remembered the astonishing phenomenon that occurred after the Reagen tax cuts. Donations to non-profits, the arts, libraries, and the Tiny Tim Foundations skyrocketed, soared to new heights and records. Hmmmm.
Trump is giving money to his filthy rich pals and taking away money from the our furry friend at the Soup Kitchen!! It’s a regular war on the poor, hypothetically of course.
Inrobically, later in the evening somebody spinning records reminded the listeners that they are encouraged to make a donation to the ray-dee-ooo station and being a certified right kind of non-profit, all donations are tax deductible as well I just smiled.
PS: Punchy mentioned on air he has a cat. Well, that explains a lot.

Note to the ‘jon’, with dynamic scoring the growth in the economy will generate massive increases in tax receipts to more than offset. Now tell us how its not going to grow jobs and is all for the rich. ATT alone said if it passes they will immediately add 7000 jobs that average 80k a year to speed up their 5k network rollout. What’s 20% of 6 trillion?? That’s the tax windfall from just the corporate cash repatriation, for those who ran out of toes its $1.2 Trillion bucks v the cbo’s 1.5T debt. Hell the economy is knocking on 4% growth before the bill takes effect. It sure sounds like the ‘jon’ does not have any investments or a 401k. 😉

Now to throw this out there.
    http://www.breitbart.com/taxes/2017/12/04/seven-myths-about-the-gop-tax-reform/
MYTH #1: They’re cutting taxes on millionaires while raising them for the middle class and the poor.
FACT: Middle-income Americans are the biggest winners under the tax bill.
MYTH #2: Tax cuts will blow up the budget deficit.
FACT: Budget deficits depend on economic growth, not tax policy.
MYTH #3: Millions will lose health insurance.
FACT: Ending the Individual Mandate does not take insurance away from anyone or make insurance unaffordable.
MYTH #4: Social Security, Medicare, and the social safety-net will get defunded because we cut taxes.
FACT: Tax cuts do not mean any spending falls.
MYTH #5: The bill creates a tax break for private jets.
FACT: The bill simply codifies the existing taxes on jets.
MYTH #6: The bill takes money away from schools and teachers.
FACT: The Senate bill expands the deduction for teachers and increases funding for schools
MYTH #7: The bills will bankrupt graduate students and hurt people with college debt.
FACT: The higher standard deduction makes the student loan deduction irrelevant, and grad students will likely benefit from the change in the way tuition is charged.
Maybe the Left should start telling the truth for a change.

Manifort may be denied bail again:
WASHINGTON ― Former Donald Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, while under federal indictment that could send him away to prison for years, recently ghostwrote an op-ed with a Russian with ties to the country’s intelligence services, Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team alleged on Monday.
Manafort, currently on house arrest with an ankle monitor, had reached a proposed bail deal with prosecutors that was awaiting court approval. But Mueller’s team says the court should reject Manafort’s request to modify the conditions of his pre-trial release because he has violated a court order that instructed him and other parties to “refrain from making statements to the media or in public settings that pose a substantial likelihood of material prejudice to this case.”
Mueller’s team allege that Manafort and a colleague were “ghostwriting an editorial in English regarding his political work for Ukraine” as recently as Nov. 30.
Later on the article states Maniforts attorny confirming that the article was written:
“Manafort’s attorney told Mueller’s team that they would take steps to make sure the op-ed wasn’t published, according to the court filing. ”

My my. Manafort is basically under house arrest. Now, kids, for money laundering to occur, one must prove than Manafort and his side kick were trying to hide money derived from a criminal activity. Guess failing to register was a foreign lobbist make breathing a criminal activity and all his piles of cash is dirty money. Blood money. Po folks’ money. At least as how I interpret domestic law. Bet they have a special drug law or something.for foreigners.
The Justice Departmnt or maybe it’s the Treasury that usually sends out notices to those who have not registered (like his business partner John Podesta’s brother fail to do) to encourage folks to come forward and register, please. Friendly reminder notices, like tying a string on your finger. Standard Operating Proceedure….unless you are after Impeachment and not violations of the law going back to 2003, with some no no’s having the statute of limitations expired. You time has xpired, please put another quarter in, Mr. Manafort. Sorry about throwing your wife on the floor and roughing her up a bit. Boys will be boys. She should have wore a less revealing nightie.p in hindsight. Wonder if they found what she was hiding under there. Never know.
Lots of juicy morsels in the news today. Caitlyn, in a tearful press conference earlier, announced that Bruce Jenner had groped her…for many years.
Sen Elizabeth Warren, accompanied by a stunningly beautiful young lady representative from the Cherokee tribe (Oklahoma) walked into a buzzsaw today, eliciting angry and most disrespectful comments from the audience at a conference sponsored by the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Hot mic captured Sen. Warren saying to the Cherokee Princess “looks like we are really under attack”, to which the young Native American replied, “What do you mean ‘we’, paleface.”
